This place is full character. The couple who live on the farm take great pride in looking after their camping guests. They provide clean but basic facilites, the fridge was for keeping the milk in was very useful. They have even set up an arrangement with the owner of the local pub who will happily provide free transport so you can eat and drink out and not have to walk (or drive) back to the site. Great for children. Indoor TV barn if the weather is nasty. Lots of hot water. VERy cheap 2 GBP per night when we stayed and showers for as long as you liked for 20p.
Pity it is the otherside of the world to us.

Your reviews led us to this site and were very accurate.This is a small,friendly,back to basics site st in a very pretty part of the N.Yorks moors.Nice & quiet and very cheap(£6/night for a family of 4 - full monty breakfast approx £10 for 4).Some pitches are on a bit of a slope but all in all an excellent venue that we will certainly use again.

A very good site the owners are very friendly giving a warm welcome. They will also serve you with a cooked breafast for a very reasonable small charge. This is one site that is biker friendly as my self and my wife both use motorcycles, and were made very welcome. Many thanks to the owners for their hospitality, we will most certainly stay on this site again.

Caravans can get to this site, there were a couple on the site during our stay, maybe very large vans might have problems give them a ring they will tell you best. Best site in the area for the price for sure.

If you like it peacefull, this is the place to pitch. site has great facilities i.e hot showers unmetered, clean toilets & washing up facilities & a T.V room to keep up with your favorite soaps. Also like to thank the owners who were VERY friendly & helpfull. We will be back soon. The Bradwell family!!
