Mayfield park is a nice campsite, it has good views of surrounding countryside from the top of the site. Clean toilets / showers / wash-up facilities, with steps for children (very impressed with this).
Good open space for kids to play, close enough to keep an eye on them, far enough away that they didn't disturb the camping area. The warden was really helpful and gave us useful information on our arrival.
Slightly concerned about the road noise when we arrived, but didn't really notice it after a while.
We would happily use this site again

First class stay. An older site being improved, now with good sized pitches most with EHU and many with waste water drain. Extensive tent field too. The Shower block was clean, comfortable with good warm showers and with plenty of room to change.
Very friendly site owners. Have added this one to my favourites and will back to this site a couple of times each year.

We had a wonderful weekend at Mayfield Park. We went with some friends and we had electric and they didn't. Our friends arrived first and were told they could camp anywhere. When we arrived later we could camp right next to them. Also we were allowed to stay until Sunday afternoon for no extra charge.
The touring field is a large sloping grassy field. There is noise from the dual carriage way but my ear plugs sorted that. It is a bit of a walk downhill to the facilities but these were in good working order and clean.
On the Saturday we walked to Chedworth Roman Villa along the Monach's Way and on Sunday we went to Cirencester open air pool - very refreshing!
There isn't a playground but there is plenty of place for the kids to play. We also had some good fish and chips in Cirencester. We will definitely return as this is a godd value site in an expensive area.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming at all times. They were also very well prepared for all queries about the local amenities providing labelled maps.
The camping field did have a slope on it, but this did not affect the comfort at night.
The toilet block was clean, tidy and very well thought out. There were plenty of hot showers, private wash basins, and toilets available and it didn't feel busy despite the amount of pitches occupied.
There were plenty of sinks for washing up in, and the washing / drying area was generous.
There were 9 of us staying here and despite our different requirements they were very helpful trying to place us in pitches close together.
We all had a lovely time and the kids enjoyed the 'ball area' and the dog walking area.
It was also a perfect location for walking the Monarch's Way and Macmillian Way.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Comments largely as per others. Staff fantastic and helpful. Not too many touring pitches and ours was bit cosy but as no one next to us on the 'awning side' it was fine. Some subtle slopes on the essentially flat pitches (gravel based) meant a little longer than normal to level. Traffic noise didn't really bother us but could be heard. Toilet block really clean. Site very well maintained. The camping fields looked good but were on quite a slope. Went to Cotswold show whilst there (it wasn't the reason for the visit) and would recommend it. Good weekend and would go again.

Stayed for 2 nights to try out our caravan and awning,we found it to be a nice peaceful site (only had about 10 family's at time of visit),
Friendly staff, toilet / shower block was spotless
The whole site is very clean and well cared for.
Infact the only downside is the nearby A417 dual carriageway and could do with something for kids to play on like an adventure type area

Nice little site, just outside Cirencester. You can walk into town, but it is along a busy road. We did this and got a taxi back for just £4.00
We stayed in the top field which had a nice sunny aspect and rabbits hopping about.
The only drawback were the toilets, which were a bit smelly, we wondered if it was the water in the shower cleaning bucket. Because of this we only stayed one night which was a shame.

We were treated with great courtesy from making our booking, a late evening arrival made easy by marking our space with a bollard, and easing our departure. Facilities immaculately clean and well planned: these included ample loos, basins, good showers with seats and facilities for the disabled. Toilets had an excellent flush and good ventilation throughout. To the rear of this building were washing-up sinks and a toilet dedicated for emptying one's own portaloos. Area clearly labelled for recycling was clean too. Good level hardstanding and all motorhome facilities needed including well sited electrical hook-ups, fresh water tap and grey water disposal. Friendly owner who ran me down to his own nearby petrol station to draw out cash from the ATM to pay him.

I have read the opening reviews and agree with them.
The reception we received was second to none and we had just driven in, no prior booking.
The shower block was clean and tidy and the shower(free), just needed to be pushed a few times before warming up.
The dog walking area suited my two dogs well. (horrid smell from the cesspit though.)
We were put on a hard standing which was level but OH had to reverse into a fairly narrow stand and the jockey wheel had to have a board under it to stop it sinking into the stones.
We only stayed one night and the noise of the nearby road was audible but didn't keep us awake.
We would definitely use the site again.

Luckily we were able to book in at short notice when other sites in the area were full. We initially thought that this might be a bad thing but wasn't the case.
Was very impressed with the reception received, from the cheerful over-the-phone booking to the friendly, helpful arrival.
Fortunately we were able to choose a pitch with EHU, as soom of them looked steeper than what we would prefer.
The shop was stocked with necessities inc alcohol. The home cooked food menu looked very inviting. The toilet/shower block was always clean. Water didn't drain away very quickly but was not a problem at all.
Only disappointing thing about this lovely site was the busy road close by but we found that you do get used to it.
LOVE the attention to recycling!
