Lovely site nr braunton/saunton all facilities were clean and working but as said before in other reviews
Looked tired after busy summer season. Pitches were very large and well marked out staff very informative and always present on site two large fields
We stayed here for cycling the start of the tarka trail, we cycled 5mls to Barnstaple along the estuary and back then did the tarka coast path which was absolutely stunning, cycling along a very quiet lane about 2 miles through a wild life reserve lots of swans etc in the marsh streams heading towards crows point, then cycling along the American road for about 3 miles (apparently the area was a practice area for d day landings ) to the mouth of the estuary.
Lots of parking if driving to the point and sand dunes will be back

Pleasant site and good welcome.
Clean showers and toilets, weekend breakfast available.
We had a good sheltered spot near the toilet block but the weather was very windy.
The access from the main road was very good and gates locked 11pm to 8am for good security.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Facilities were clean and plentiful. We came without a car as we were walking the SW Coast Path.
There is a bus stop just outside the site's gate to Barnstaple or Croyde. Otherwise there is 15 min walk to Braunton where there are pubs, restaurants, Tesco, Co-Op and a bus to Ilfracombe or Westward Ho!
There was a visiting Caribbean food takeaway van on the site on the Sunday night and the food was delicious. I didn't see this advertised on the site's Facebook page as it would have been good to know this in advance.

Site was handy for the Tarka trail, which is why we choose this site.
Nice spacious site a lot of road noise in the first field.
Toilet and Shower block at lower fields could do with a refurb the facilities in the top field much nicer.
Staff super friendly.
Bus stop right out side campsite handy for excursions.

Good site, quiet - no clubhouse, well maintained toilet/ showers.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Location - could be better: no easy way to get to coast path/ Sand Dunes/ beach on foot or bike without going 2miles on busy narrow roads.
Fortunately good bus service at campsite entrance.

Spent 4 nights here as 4 dads and 7 girls under 9 and had a great time. Campsite seemed quite busy (especially on the lower field) but didn't feel like a 'packed' campsite as we had a lots of space on our pitches. Nice big play park that the children loved.
We had 4 flat pitches on the lower field but cant comment on how flat the other fields are.
Great location, only a 10 to 15 minute drive to 3 cracking beaches (Saunton sands, Croyde Bay and Putsburgh beach) which we all loved.
Would definitely return to Lobb Field.
My only comment is that there isnt a shop on site which was a shame.
