We stayed at Oakley Farm for 3 nights on a hardstanding pitch. The site is a nice small site and as others have already mentioned, the toilet block is kept very clean, even though it is extremely dated (remember the old fashioned peach coloured toilets and sinks that were popular in the 1970s and 80s).
There are three toilets and two showers in the ladies and I assume the men’s is the same, which was plenty for the small site, however, the water pressure in the showers was poor.
The site is very easy to get to, just a minute or two off the A34, so it is a great location for a stopover if you are on your way from north to south (or vice versa).
We chose the site as we wanted to visit Highclere castle (aka Downton Abbey) and the site is very handy for visiting the castle.
However, the proximity to the A34 also means that there is quite a bit of road noise on the site. I know this doesn’t bother many people but my husband has a hearing problem and certain noises really seem to bother him, so we probably won’t use this site again for that reason.
The site was really attractively priced, only £21 a night including electricity when we were there, which is less than half the price we have been paying this summer on other sites, so if you don’t mind the road noise and low water pressure in the showers, this is a great site.

Stayed here for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend as we were attending the Highclere show.
Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Fantastic pitches.
All three together on a field with lovely views… good facilities, great location and a great price!
Will definitely return again.

Very nice campsite and staff and good clean facilities.
Lots of woods and places for walking, and close to Newbury.
The site was quiet which was lovely.

Lovely campsite in a quiet area.
All the facilities were fine and the man on reception is very friendly and a laugh a minute.

We really liked the site.
It's quiet, the pitches are big with plenty of room.
We liked that we were shown to our pitch instead of scrambling around to find it.
Staff very friendly and chatty. We didn't use the showers, but they looked clean and spacious.
Could do with a little updating though.
A really good base for seeing the attractions around Newbury.
Would stay again definitely.

Excellent overnight stay on way to Portsmouth ferry. Rang me back to confirm booking.
Site and facilities to a very high standard. Safe and secure.
Greeted by a an extremely welcoming gentleman, who showed us to our pitch and explained site layout, facilities and recommended a local pub for food.
Would definitely return when back in area
