Friendly welcome. Quiet, fairly remote site in the middle of Exmoor with amazing views.
Good sized pitches.
Very clean and warm toilet and shower block with lots of hot water.
Close to the Tarr Steps ancient clapper bridge and the Exmoor Pony Centre.
Pitches are sloping so you will need levellers and site can be windy as it high on the moor.

A lovely grass site on top of Exmoor with beautiful rural views.
It is a small site with basic but very clean and comfortable facilities.
There is a wonderful walk from the site around the Punchbowl going over the top of the moor, through valleys, farmland and woods beside a river. This takes you through Winsford with a shop and pub.
Tarr Steps and Dulverton are a short drive away, also with pubs and shops.

This site sits in the middle of beautiful Exmoor countryside, off a very quiet minor road, with long and pleasing views of patchwork fields, wooded areas and bracken-covered moors all around in an undulating landscape.
First impressions of the site are very good.
The grass is very well kept and, whilst the camping field does have sloping areas in keeping with the area, there's nothing that a set of chocks won't sort, and the pitches were spacious and well marked.
The toilet block is prettily planted out front and kept clean, as was the washing up area and the bin area.
The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the information room is well stocked with leaflets.
We don't have children, but noticed a nice play area for them and those children we saw seemed to be enjoying themselves.
TV signal was good so indoor entertainment possible if the weather turns.
The dog absolutely adored the many walks just across the road on to the moor, and the views get even better as you walk up the gentle slopes.
The maps available from reception are very informative if you like to go for set walks.
We stayed for just one night on this occasion, but were so happy here that we have already booked to return later in the year for a longer stay

What a delightful gem.
Booked at last minute.
Reasonable price.
Great views, super sunsets & rises.
Clean & tidy toilet amenities.
May need chocks/blocks to level the unit.
Peaceful & quiet.
Plenty of walks.
A signposted path through the farm takes you into Winsford.
Close to Tarr Bridge.
Perfect base to explore Exmoor.
So nice that I will return.
Pine Lodge Stables are nearby, east of Dunster.

What a lovely, peaceful site. Good facilities and very well-maintained.
No noise other than normal farm animals, great base for exploring on foot or bike.
Pub in Winsford shut most of the time so don't expect to eat there! Some pitches aren't quite level, even with chocks.
But overall a wonderful short break and I will be going back.

Facilities were good for a small site: clean toilet/shower block, play area for young ones and hook ups for caravans. We were on the tent field with about 5 other tents so nice and quiet with plenty of space between us.
Reception is not always open but that’s no problem as we paid in advance and the information on the door was clear as to where to pitch up.
Very pretty scenery. Nearest village is Winsford and we found a lovely tea rooms in nearby Exford.

Beautiful site, the views are amazing, very clean and well maintained.
The showers and toilet facilities were the best we have used when camping.
A perfect place to stay when exploring Exmoor.
Would definitely recommend to friends.
