Great site with lovely facilities, the best toilets and showers I have ever stayed at.
There was a great kids play area which my children loved using.
The boathouse bar is very good and nice to have this on site and there was a kids disco, family quiz on the Saturday evening which was a nice extra.
Would recommend this site to anyone wanting a short great.

Fantastic site, the showerooms and toilets were very clean best one I have come across. They even let us leave our caravan when we checked out while we went out with friends for the day. Which was a massive help so thank you
9 out of 10 only because the toilet situation for were we were it was a longish work and very dark no lit up walk way along the way either.
Yes they was closer ones but it closed at 11 and didn't open till next day till 5 pm. Which to me didn't make much sense. Also lady on reception wasn't very welcoming, didn't even seem to want to talk to us really.

Pros- beautiful peaceful site, amazing lake that you can enjoy paddling on etc, large pitches, amazing biggest play area, clean toilets and shower.
No hidden extras for pitches.
Not huge or commercial. Lovely sound and views of planes from local RAF base.
Lovely friendly swans, geese to see. Shops local and plenty of takeaways.
Cons - ground is hard and rocky so for every 1 peg you put in you’ll bend 10 so it’s a costly visit after to replace pegs.
Toilet block is amongst static vans with their own bathrooms well away from tents with no toilet facilities so doesn’t make sense.
Staff majority are friendly and welcoming.
Food at clubhouse isn’t great, pizza not as described, chips over cooked and cold so cheese didn’t melt at all.
You’ll daily step goose poop into tent/caravan quite disgusting for young children, have to clean tent regularly, geese are over populated.
No real restaurants to enjoy nearby.

Lovely caravan park toilets showers were the cleanest I’ve ever seen. C
Ould do with a toilet block near tents area but not too far to walk really.
Was surprised there were no shop on site for your bread milk n essentials.
Lovely campsite n will be back.
Forgot to say I found the tent pitch for one night a bit too expensive.

Amazing site, was very impressed overall.
Each pitch was a decent size and wasn't on top of each other, clean toilets/shower block.
Incredible park which was huge and had something for all out ages from 2-11years.
Location ideal to travel in car to surrounding areas.

Lovely site with spacious pitches. Weather was against us, but that didn’t stop the kids from making full use of the facilities.
Play area was new and excellent activities all round.
And shower block were clean. A toilet block was available on occasions near the tent pitches, great for kids.
Lakes available for multiple water sports, weather meant we didn’t use on this occasion.
Would recommend

Just returned from this beautiful site. Pre-booked an area for a group of 12 units.
One of the pitches was waterlogged when we arrived, no problem changing it to fit in with our group.
Quite busy this spring bank holiday week, but lots of areas where a peaceful place could be found.
Dogs on leads at all times due to wild fowl on and around the lakes.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Diner on site serving breakfasts/ dinners to eat in or takeaway.
All in all a very good site, reasonably priced.

Fourth year here. Can't believe a campsite will allow people to start pitching up a tent at 11:30pm at night. Right next to us! Ridiculous! I know they need to make up money but have lost our business. I have found that anything seems to go on this trip.

Been a few years since we’ve stayed at Willow Holt. Shower/toilet facilities outstanding very clean. Diner on site however, over priced for food quality. We paid £4. 80 for 8 bread rolls from the diner shop which were dry! Take your own!
Mix of guests types. Some pleasant. Some not so pleasant. Perhaps we just picked a bad week however was left with happy campers partying until midnight with loud music for a couple of nights which was annoying with three young children. Son was also swore at by another touring couple for riding his bike too close to their van “garden space”
