We liked the bar, pizza to order and gluten free quite happy with that.
Coffee was good. Good walks and beach near by.
Showers good and clean.
Sadly the lady’s toilets smelt so bad my wife could not shower or use the toilet in the block.
Overall we hope to come back as see the toilet blip as a temporary thing.

Lovely site right on the beach.
Quiet and peaceful with a friendly site team.
Other campers also pleasant and friendly. Very good amenities, clean and modern.
It has the benefit of a cafe/restaurant on the beach who do good pizzas in the oven.
The beach itself is very natural with heathland up to the sands, great for walking the dogs. Would recommend.

Quiet site, great location but tired looking.
Field is worn leaving bare soil outside entrances. Grass pitches backing up on each other and fully serviced pitches devoid of evening sunshine due to trees. Even though we paid for a serviced pitch our 8m aqua feed was 3 metres too short to reach the tap.
The bar is a great facility but only open Thurs-Sat in the evenings when we were there.
Was left a bit disappointed overall

Apart from the lovely position beside the beach, what grabs you is how peaceful the site is - despite being almost at capacity. Friendly bar & cafe on site, lovely pizzas!
Level grass pitches can be threadbare so a groundsheet is worth taking along, all have water tap. No motorhome point. Wet facilities good, curiously never had to queue. Freeview TV OK, Phone signal OKish Staff & campers all friendly.
Nice shorefront walks (if somewhat tiring!) either way, Sizewell Beach Cafe nearby if you fancy a nibble (Weds to Sun). Leiston Town a fair walk for groceries.
Just note reception is actually in the bar which is 200m away from entrance stop point.
Overall just a really nice place to be.

A great, mainly level, site. Short walk to the beach with no traffic, bar by the beach with wide sea views (snacks, drinks, ice creams, wood fired pizzas).
Whole site is clean and well maintained, large plots, wide roadways meaning it feels very spacious. More than enough, well maintained, toilets, showers and waste facilities.
Only downside - no little shop - just a few staples would be handy as the site is a few miles to the nearest shops.

Our 3rd visit to this site.
We love the location & the dog friendly beach accessed easily from the site.
Pub in walking distance only open Thursday to Sunday but food(pizza) regularly available at the bar.
Enjoyed the beautiful English summer, solid sunshine.

Absolutely loved this site, so peaceful and relaxing with everything you need around you.
Lovely walks along the coast, takes around an hour to Aldeburgh, but can stop at the Dolphin Pub at Thorpness on the way, perfect.
Showers immaculate and warden just great.
All nicely organised without being on your face with ridiculous rules.
Great stay, will be back I hope.

This was our second visit to this site. It is very efficiently run with friendly, helpful wardens and a clean shower and toilet block.
There is easy access to a pebble beach backed by low sand dunes, which is good for walking and dog friendly.
There is an outside seating area by a bar where you can have a drink and enjoy the sea view, and perhaps a pizza.
We will return.

This part of the Suffolk coast is quite unique. There is access to the coastal path and beach direct from the site.
The atomic power station close by should be ignored. It is a magic and peaceful place.
The beach is mainly pebbles so not the place for bucket and spades, but the walk along the path or the shore to Thorpness in the south and Minsmere and Dunwich in the north is not to be missed.
The site was well kept, the toilets immaculate, the staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
In mid May it was very good value for money.
