Fab, fab, fab camp site. Agree with all other posts. Immaculate site & friendly managers.
Took us a good 25 min to walk into town but a nice walk.
There's a large open area central to the pitches, and a small running stream that could be fun for children, but no playpark.
Will definitely return.
There are a few other sites owned by the company, might look them!
Was told their closing date has been extended to cover the Christmas book festival beginning of December.
Cracking camp site.

The site is well positioned for countryside walks or bike rides. The amenities are easily accessible with plenty of clear signage.
The entire site is ‘sparkling’ clean with a high attention to detail around cleanliness and maintenance.
I’ve not stayed here before but would recommend and will be happy to return in the near future.
Finally, the campsite welcome was lovely and informative, just like the staff.

Great site, well located for visiting Hay on Wye. All facilities were clean and well stocked and the staff were friendly, good to see staff walking the site first thing in the morning.
The walk into Hay is partly on paths away from the road but joins the road for the second part, around a twenty minute walk in total with a couple of stiles to negotiate.
We would definitely stay on this site again and will look out for others from this group.

This was our first visit since new ownership and we thoroughly enjoyed a nice peaceful break.
The welcome form Lisa was very friendly and knowledgeable and we were soon on our pitch.
The site itself was immaculate, as were the washrooms and showers.
I thought the pitches were rather narrow and there were a couple of units that seemed to be very close indeed, once an awning had been erected, but in general all was fine,
The "new" walk into town was a bit longer but with pleasant views.
We're looking forward to staying again.

A wonderful base for attending the Hay Festival.
Such a friendly and helpful team running the site.
Spotless shower/toilet block. Well maintained grounds.
New dish washing area/drying room nearing completion which will be a welcome improvement.
Already booked for next year.
Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very clean site in excellent position.
Toilet/shower block spotless.
The only very minor complaint is the washing up area was very small and badly lit.
We would definitely return.
Also very friendly and helpful staff

This is a lovely site well located for site seeing or close to Offa’s Dyke was the reason for our stay.
We got a warm reception on arrival and guided to our pitch, hard standing and grass.
The site was well maintained the toilets and showers spotless in the showers there was shower gel and shampoo and a hair dryer,
We have stayed before and will again

Great site, showers spotless, grounds well maintained, lots of places to eat locally, stunning area for walking.
Some great little shops in village, good traffic links to Brecon and Abergavenny.

Camped here with my one man tent when walking Offa's Dyke path.
Friendly welcome, level pitch, pegs went in easily.
Exceptional facilities block with plenty of smart, spacious, toilets, basins, showers, washing up sinks and excellent laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer.
It is a 20 minute walk into Hay-on-Wye so I was very grateful to Nick for a lift into town.
Need to run the cold taps a while to get water cold enough to drink was only problem I found.
