Great little site, reasonably priced, have used it often as a stopover on the way either to or from Scotland.
Lovely friendly staff, good facilities and nice pitches.
Is within easy walking distance of the village.
Will definitely be using it again on my next trip up north

We enjoyed our stay in our motorhome and our welcome was very full and pleasant
Our pitch was down near the barrier with the bathrooms close by, entry by key, very good shower, 6min at 20 pence never used full time.
Good center to cycle rides to the north.
Visited the Devils Porridge, well worth the visit, also the Birth place of the savings Bank.

A really convenient location near the M6 / M74 corridor but also a nice site to stay for a couple of nights.
Owners are very friendly and the facilities are well kept.
Great for visiting the Solway and only a 15 minute train ride from Carlisle.

Stayed here for 4 days to visit grand children in Annan.
Well kept site with excellent facilities, spacious hard standings & well tended lawns. Friendly helpful owners.
Spacious Toilet cubicles with wash basin soap & paper towels.
Power showers were well worth the extra 20p (you get a good ten minutes. ).
Laundry & washing up facilities. An ideal stop off or longer stay.
Shops and restaurants very nearby. Will definitely stay here again.

Used this site as a stopover.
We had a twin axle caravan, the pitch we were given was perfect.
Easy to park caravan, close to all site amenities.
Staff were helpful and pleasant.
The shower was great, with plenty force. Needed 20p to operate shower for 10 minutes.
Shops and pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance.
Overall this was an ideal site for us.
We would recommend this site!

Very convenient stopover at the Scottish border, with easy access to the motorway.
Friendly reception and good clean facilities, with a handbasin inside each WC (and even some flowers in the Ladies!) Not sure why 20 pence is charged for a shower but it ran hot for longer than needed.
Easy walk to local shops and about a mile to the 'Gateway Outlet' with its range of retailers and food. We also walked to the Old Smithy and sat with a coffee, watching a wedding couple being serenaded on the bagpipes!
The free WiFi was too weak to use but there is good TV reception and a selection of books and DVDs to swap or borrow.

We chose this due to close proximity to walk into the small outlet village and ease of access from motorway. Approx 15 min walk to Outlet with lots of buses stopping on route. Its worth a visit for shops and cafes.
We struggle with pre allocated pitches especially when touring part of site half empty as here.
Many hardstanding electric pitches are shared with pitch next door (a picnic table being the separation)bit like an aire - others are on larger single pitches separated by hedges and or grass. Several of the better pitches empty - made no sense when all same price for a standard pitch.
That aside, campsite kept very clean and tidy. Shower is 20p but run for ages, good and hot. Facilities nearest road are ancient but kept very clean. Washing up area undercover cover and water piping hot. Only recycling is for paper /cardboard. There is a moho drive over and refill area plus several water taps throughout site.
Some road noise until mid evening then quietens down.
No dog walk so walked around nearby housing estate.
A well placed Coop is a 5 minute walk along the road, a further 5 minutes to a few more shops, bakery, takeaways etc.
We would use again but would ask to choose our in pitch.
