Good location just on outskirts of Gretna.

Very friendly staff and site in reasonable condition.

Only downside point is that you need 20p to use shower as we did not have any on arrival

This Park is a little Gem. Nice and quite and very clean, toilets spotless Showers well worth the money again CLEAN and SPOTLESS, and nothing was too much trouble from the owners.

Even when for some reason our water level alarm went off in our Motorhome they were there to lend a hand. Turned out I've forgot to fill it up.

They even have Mr Whippy come around if you fancy an IceCream.

When we left after our stay they were there to see us off and wish a safe trip home.

We will definitely be back for another stay. £75. 00 for 3 nights and with EHU and Free WiFi

Well worth the money.

We recently stayed at Braids Caravan Park, we had a fantastic few days.

The site, showers and toilet facilities were absolutely spotless.

The site owners were very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

We will definitely be going back in the future and would definitely recommend the site.

Just spent a sat night at the braids site. Great site clean showers and facilities, very helpful hosts will call again soon.

The site is easily reached from m6 a good stop off for exploring scotland or england.

I called on way back from england on my way to the ferry at cairnryan.

Will definitely use the braids for a few nights soon

Very easy to find, just off the motorway on the edges but still within Gretna itself and perfectly placed for exploring the Scottish Borders as we were doing and within walking distance of the outlet village and plenty of hotel restaurants, takeaways and shops.

Barriers into the site required a key fob and use of facilities required a key, both provided on check in. The new owners/ former wardens were lovely, friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

It is a beautifully tended and secluded site that gave plenty of protection from the Yellow Weather Warning conditions we unfortunately endured, thankfully meaning our caravan awning was in no danger from the storms. The roads all around the area flooded but our hard standing fully serviced pitch drained very quickly and in conditions only slightly less severe would have remained perfectly dry.

The toilets were not ultra modern but had good size cubicles each with their own basin, they were freshly painted and sealed, of good utilitarian quality and whenever we used them were always absolutely spotlessly clean and freshly scented. Showers were in a separate part of the block, cost 20p but gave plentiful hot water.

Dogs are welcome but unfortunately there is no room for a dog walk/ run area on site and a visiting funfair had taken over the area just down the road that was suggested to us, so it was 15 mins road walk to a suitable open space for exercising them which was our only negative point.

Over all a really good site, very quiet at this time of year. We would certainly use them again. I wish the new owners every success I their new venture.

Very friendly helpful staff, as a solo female traveller felt save.

Good location handy for local amenities. And toilet and shower area very clean.

Will definitely go to the site again.

We used this site as a stopover when heading over to the West Coast.

Nice warm welcome and our pitch was allocated to us. We think this site has quite a few one night stays so the pitches are slightly narrower, with no space for an awning.

There are awning spaces available if you require it. Some of the grass pitches have concrete pads to keep your unit level. Showers and toilets are very clean.

The showers are 20p and you get ample time for this money. Co-Op is a few hundred yards away and several hotels for eating out.

There appears to be plenty to do around this area, and we hope to return for a longer stay.

Whilst we were there the couple on the next pitch were getting married at the Old Blacksmith's Shop which was very exciting and made our day.

Site is ok, but was not keen on the pitch we were on, it was pretty cramped, and it felt really close to the vans on either side when compared to other sites.

Toilets were clean.

Staff are very friendly and site is close to shops and restaurants.

Very clean quiet and well run campsite with hard standing pitches separated by hedges.

Excellent facilities with very hot showers which were well worth the 20p cost and an immaculate area for washing up also with hot water.

A reasonable price for such a good site.

They even have a book exchange.
