Good location, nice mix of grass and hardstanding pitches,
The facilities are a bit dated but spotless and no smells, floor is properly scrubbed each day we were there.
Checkin should be easy but we decided to stay 2 nights and as we had to change pitch this prompted much debate, pitches are auto allocated when booking.

This is our second visit to this site and we cannot fault the location, the friendly staff or the fabulous views.
The site is looking a little uncared for but it has been awful weather so the verges are quite churned up, but one thing we aren't too keen on is the drinking water tap is on the same post but back to back with the waste water tap, and the giant refuse bins are minging on the top!
The showers are lovely and hot, and enough room to move about in, but the loos are a lit @snug@ getting around the door. Swipe cards for the toilet/showers and the automatic barrier can be bought at reception.
It is a nice walk up into Filey town and there are lots of places to eat, drink and shop.
From the site you can walk along the top and down to the seafront.
Filey is a lovely place to visit and stay.

Arrived on spec, lovely receptionist soon got us booked in
Nice pitch on grass, shame they do not collect the grass cuttings
Lovely facilities block nice big showers plenty of hot water, always very clean
Nice walk down to beach (steep climb back up) nice walk into Filey which is a lovely Victorian seaside town with nice tea rooms, cafes, pubs and chip shops
Only stayed one night on our way home but would stay again
Surprisingly busy of Wednesday night in June, would probably be too busy for us at weekend or during school holidays
Only downside no motorhome waste water point
Elsan point was excellent
Good value at £22 for the night

This was our 3rd visit here. It never disappoints.
It is in such a fantastic location.
The campsite itself is well maintained, a short walk into Filey with its many restaurants and pubs.
Only negative with it being a council site is they don't collect the grass cuttings so they do get trodden into everywhere, toilet block etc.

Lovely site, great facilities,
Excellent location for everything, whether a walk into town or the beach and the Brigg.
Itches a bit tight but manageable.

What a lovely site, lovely clean toilets/showers plenty of hot water, we were on a hard standing near some trees, really peaceful.
Lovely friendly staff. Plenty of places to walk if you have a dog. Nice 10 minute walk into Filey.
Brilliant fish and chip shop 6 mins walk Dickie Bees (closed Sun to Tues) Spar and Tesco supermarket. Spar have cold wine and beer in the fridge.
Lots of lovely walks either along the 5 mile long beach or on the cliff top. Visit to the little museum is a must. Lots of lovely little bars and cafes.
Lots of buses to and from Scarborough and Bridlington. Altogether excellent location.
£20. 50 per night with EHU when we visited.

Are Filey, First of all great location however site outdated & not very well maintained?
Whole site pitch black at night (health and safety trip issue) due to street site lights Out or not working? So if the trip doesn’t kill you the Luke warm showers will.
Trees along the hard standing need cropping back due to lots of pigeons mess and sap Covering: cars caravan’s/camper vans /and especially awnings (no warning given?)
No visible wardens walking round, Toilets/ showers need upgrading and noticed people using bottom shower block from outside due to card lock door not closing correctly?
Grass needs cutting more regular millions of leafs around shower block and in gutterings just left? Being open plan security presents around the site would not go a miss. Come on Filey council bring it out of the 1970s & up to date.
