This was our 3rd visit to filey brigg campsite and we absolutely love it, we had a lovely hot weekend and it was glorious.
No issues at all as there never are, great facilities and a good clean campsite.
VW vans are permitted to camp-as our friends did, and they could park right in front of our tent.
Cant wait to visit again.
Lovely clean park for our children to play in. Cheaply priced and great value for money.

Excellent site, up on the Brigg, with a short walk down a fairly steep slope to the beach. We are 2 adults and a 2 year old. Two play parks for young children, clean showers, no queues, no extra fees. We loved it, easy to find (follow signs for Country Park) and friendly folks on reception. We will be returning. Hubby felt they might benefit from more recycling bins but that was the only 'negative' we would find.

Filey Brigg is easily found just follow the signs for the country park. On arrival the warden greeted us with a warm smile and asked for 10£ deposit for the toilet/shower block access fob key as the office was closed and asked us to take the remainder of the payment to the office the next day, and he told us any pitches with cones on are pre booked so we took one just down from the main office.
There's a short walk from the site to the beach by following the sign for the yachting club both our dogs loved it on the beech and in the sea we walked along the beech and went up into the town and walked back to the site this took about 15-20 Min's there is also good walks along the cliff tops and good fishing from the Brigg.
There's a children's play area for all ages we will be going back again next month for 5-6 night this time and looking forward to it we would recommend this site to any one visiting the Yorkshire coast.

Stayed at this campsite may bank holiday for my 30th birthday. It was also Filey Folk Festival the same weekend. We arrived on Friday and I suppose you class it as blustery but it is very coastal and the tents are placed at the end after a playing field so there isnt any protection. Tent pitched and 'party' weekend happened! the beach is about a 5 min walk away although there are either steep hill or steep steps to contend with. The beach is beautiful with rocks to sit on and sand to play with. BBQs are allowed on the beach as are dogs.
Saturday the weather cleared and more people joined the fun as well as a caravan. The site was fully booked and you could tell as there are no plots just keep a minimum distance away but was a struggle to get the caravan a place and then cars got blocked in with more tents arriving etc.
The wind dropped and the site was beautiful.
The toilets were clean and the showers were really spacious with a bench (best showers ive used in a while) and the temp and pressure was how I have at home so no complaints from me (a few members of the group loved the showers as more pressure than they have at home)
Sunday and Monday the weather was glorious.
The shop at the front is brilliant and sells usual beach/kids stuff but also does amazing breakfast baps.
There is a large carpark opposite site that was full but where do all the people go as it wasn't busy anywhere and there is a huge play park for children as well as just plain simple grass for running and playing and dog walking. Filey town is only a short walk away and there is a tescos there too etc.
Staff in office and in shop/cafe were really really friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable. Cant wait to go back once I've replaced the split tent poles from wind (best place for tent wind free is tucked behind recycling and shop by main road but then it wouldn't be a quiet location) especially if the sun shines again.

Just returned from our second visit this year and what a little gem of a campsite this is. Clean and tidy, peaceful, all the amenities you could need and only a short walk into Filey itself. The staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful. There is a small cafe/shop on site (a little expensive) but handy. The shower/toilet blocks are lovely and clean, warm and well stocked. You have to pay £10 deposit for a key to be able to access them but this is refunded on your departure. There is also a laundery room with washers and dryers but did not use these myself.
Love this site will return again.

Just returned from a visit! We (4 adults) stayed for 3 nights, fri-sun and have had an excellent stay.
This site is a 5 minute walk from beach, short walk to filey town centre (10-15mins). Filey is a lovely seaside town with lots of places to eat, drink and shop. Can highly recommend the thali desi curry house in town centre, £9. 95 for eat as much as you can buffet on a sunday night.
All areas of the campsite are very clean. Showers are quite old, but clean and always hot with plug socket for hair dryers e. T. C. 4 showers in the ladies block near tents.
Washing up areas kept clean with hot water and cold drinking water.
Tent field is flat with a lovely view of the cliffs and sea on a clear day. There is a public carpark and toilets next to the site but this didn't bother us, it was busy in the day with families and then quiet at night and the public toilets were locked at night.
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and cafe on site served us a lovely breakfast which was not too highly priced.
The campsite had a good, busy atmposphere, there was a variety of people at the site, old, young, couples, groups, families. Lots of people sat outside tents at night chatting, but nobody too loud or disruptive.
We only stayed 3 nights but could quite easily have stayed longer. I would highly recommend the campsite and the area.

We enjoyed our stay here, though it was perhaps a little pricey - 27 pounds per night for two adults, two children, caravan, electricity, no awning. There's a 10 pound deposit for a contactless key to allow toilet use, which seems like a good idea to me - the site is next door to a huge council-run beach car parking facility.
There are two playparks so children of all ages are accommodated.
We were told to go find a spot by ourselves, which suited us well, but on our last night a motorhome parked up around 8 feet from our 'van, perhaps a little close? - there are no marked pitches.
The site is very convenient for the beach and the town centre, which means car use is minimised. We located plenty of geocaches within walking distance too. The toilets and showers were clean('er indoors rated them excellent) and there is a useful 'essentials' shop on site.
Staff in the permanent reception were helpful and polite.

Just had 6 amzing nights camping here. Read the reviews & they were mixed, But this site is brilliant. We piched in the far corner of the tent section.
The grass is fairly even but great quality. The site has 4 pot washing basins with constant HOT water & Drinking water supply. The There are 4 showers & 4 toilets in both the ladies & gents.
Really good showers again with very hot water and the blocks are heated too!. There is a small convenience store/cafe. We didn't use it as its quite pricey, but good if you need something.
The beach is literally a 5 minute walk but coming back is hard work as its very steep. You are in filey in 10 minutes and the beach is fantastic.
Tesco is 2 minutes in the car or a 15 minute walk. Avoiding the beach, filey town centre is 10 minutes walking distance. Several takeaways that all deliver to the site. We paid £21. 50 per night and a £10 deposit for a fob for the showers.
I would certainly recommend this sight whether you want a quick stop over or are coming for a week with the family. Oh and the views are first class. Shall certainly be back next year

First time we have stayed on this park it has to be the best park we have stayed at for a very long time.
Clean and tidy with friendly staff.
Toilets and showers are a bit dated but are clean with plenty of hot water. Small shop and cafe on site with some good meals.
The beach is just a short walk down the bank and filey is around a 10 min walk to the town centre. We intend to go back again next year as a most enjoyable holiday for my family.
