We have just had three nights at Filey Brigg camp site. Great location with good access to the coast path and Filey sea front.
Toilets clean and tidy plenty of hot water in the showers. Being next to the country park there is plenty of space to exercise dogs off site.
There is a drain for grey water next to the elsan point and a hose to fill water tanks. Ask at reception they will show you were they are.
Cafe at the entrance was great for breakfast before walking to Scarborough. Local supermarket is about 5 mins walk away. The bus and train station about 10 mins with links to Scarborough or Bridlington.
Maybe it would be different in high season but we found this a pleasant site.

Excellent value at £2. 90 per person in a hiker tent. Arrived as reception was cashing up, with no booking, as we were completing Cleveland Way, so woman kindly took our names, exchanged a toilet / shower block fob for a £10 deposit, and asked us to pay in the morning, which we did. Hikers and car campers were directed to a patch of grass very close to reception and toilet / shower / cafe block, which has an open to outdoors dish washing area with 3 sinks. There is another wash block nearer the caravan area. Toilets and showers were clean. Shower cubicles lovely and large, with bench and no curtains. A regular visitor siad she'd never known anything less than hot water. Cafe is open from about 6. 30am until owners 'have had enough', so it seemed to close around 4pm in early Sept. Highly recommended.

Arrived on spec for a one night stay. Site was busy as kiddies had just gone back after school hols. Was given a choice of pitches. Most are level, some with hardstanding. Even though busy, the site was quiet and everyone was welcoming and friendly. Cost was £18. 50 for us and 2 dogs, which was excellent considering the location. Toilet/shower facilities are very clean and adequate (£10 deposit for entry fob). We don't usually stay on larger sites, but will definitely return to this one.

The site is set in part of the Filey Brigg Country park, a nice and quite location set back from the top of the cliffs so it doesn't have sea views but is still quite exposed when there's a north easterly blowing, Its quite a large site with all grass pitches, the toilet & shower facilities are modern and clean but you need a fob (£10 refundable deposit) to enter ! There is a small cafe on site with a small shop area and a children's play area across the road, The site is an easy 10 minute walk into town, you can also walk along the beach to town when the tides out.

Had a single night there & overall quite pleased with it. A large site on top of cliff with steps down to beach or a gentler walk via the town, we took steps first time only to find the tide in so no choice but up the steps again as you cant walk along beach when tide is in. The toilets/showers were decent but to use you need a electronic key which cost £10 which was refunded on leaving. Dogs have to be on leads on site which seems normal now but lots of walks just off site & they aren't allowed on beach. At £17. 40 for two of us & dog with EHU seems pretty good value. One bad point though the taps are push to go type so couldn't connect a hose & had to fill up water with a water carrier through floor & would have been a right pain if we'd stayed longer than the overnight stopover.

Overgrown and overpriced !
Grass long and straggly, vans and awnings strewn every where as though they had been dropped and discarded, bumps and holes, EHu not working or blanked off, just for starters.
Overpriced I was charged £27. 50 for one adult with hook up with two dogs ! no Idea where the 50 pence came from but when I asked why it was so expensive the receptionist said they could charge what they liked it was peak season.
I wasn't shown a map or told where to go, just told go where you like as long as there isn't a cone parked there ( hence the messy looking site)
Travellers on the site leaving a disgusting trail of rubbish and a poor small dog tied to a fence on a very short lead all day.
Location made up for the site, wouldn't go there ever again, I just didn't feel safe either.

Friendly staff, good location being near to both beach and town. Toilet blocks are not luxurious but are clean and warm but to get to them you have to walk over the long grass as the tarmac road stops. Wouldn't come in peak but would stay off peak again. Speed bumps are needed to slow some wanna be racing drivers.

We stayed here for two nights and found the site very comfortable and friendly with all the usual amenities and services. It was very clean and with well kept grounds.
There is a cafe and small shop, which we did not use but heard good comments.
The area is very good for walking and you can see the sea from a lot of pitches.
Overall a good site I would recommend.

On arrival we were met by very friendly reception staff, the toilets were warm and clean. Location brilliant only a short walk onto front. The problem was the site was very wet and muddy, and the hardstanding pitches are not suitable for getting coachbuilt motorhomes on, we drove round 3 times trying to get onto a pitch but didn't manage it as the van was getting stuck in mud. The hardstanding pitches were the same as all pitches were churned up before you could get onto the flagged area. Luckily the site was very quiet so we parked on the end of one of the dead end roads and hooked up to electric point. We will go back but when weathers better as pitches aren't really geared up for winter use.

Just had our first visit. Very friendly staff, shower block lovely and warm. Great breakfast at the cafe and lovely home made pies and cakes. Short walk to the beach. Great for dogs. Can't wait to go again. The only downfall was the odd fool that thought it was ok to speed round the site. Glad there were no small children about. And could do with some sort of barrier system.
