 Beautiful setting and nice pitch, showers and toilets lovely,
Staff very helpful and nice little shop
We spent a lovey two nights there and easily walked to the beach with the pooches,
Would go back again

Generous pitch sizes where we were placed and well maintained. Friendly welcome.
Facilities are unisex which was fine but not many so I imagine in peak season could get quite busy. No issue when we were there.
We arrived late and left early so not much more to comment on!

Lovely site and beautiful location.
Facilities very good and clean. Very friendly staff.
Would recommend this site and will use again if in the area.

Wonderful campsite,
Lovely couple very helpful,
Everything immaculate,
It was so nice we stayed an extra day,
5min drive into Dumfries,

Site very good tidy and clean, owners very welcoming and friendly,
Only complaint showers a little weak and take a long time to get warm, however a small complaint.

Stayed here to visit our kids,
Toilet's design and block is clean and tidy but is a very, very old design. Not what you expect from an adult only modern caravan site. They are however clean and tidy.
The on site gas tank to refill bottles and van based tanks is very helpful.
You do turn off and pull out on to a very fast road.

Shepherds view is a lovely campsite, clean and very tidy.
The only issue for us was,
Its approximately one and a half hours to the lakes.
If your going with young children, there is nothing for them to do.

Exceent site with plenty of space between pitches. Clean and tidy. GOOD rubbish and recycling and a dog poo bin. Unisex shower block might not be to everyone's taste, but it was aways clean and tidy.
Staff were incrediby helpful, with advice and with pratical help when we had a problem with our electrics.
Ony suggestion, would be to supply a local area map, and detais of the train times from Drigg Station. We struggled to find parking in Whitehaven and should have gone by train.
Seascale beach is a gem.

Basic but ok.
Heavy on rules with pitches constantly monitored, and charged for every facility.
Tents mixed in amongst motorhomes.
No laundry.
Arrival after 1930 not allowed.

It was a lovely site,
It was easy to access to go to place as near by like Muncaster castle and Ravenglass minature steam railway.
It was kept very clean, and they were helpful if you wanted anything.
