Plenty of space to choose where to pitch.
The pitch we chose was perfect, sheltered and private with a great view.
Facilities were basic but clean.
Just sit outside your tent at night stargazing due to no light pollution and listen to the owls and watch the bats flying around.
And to top it all NO music is allowed on site.

Beautiful campsite with lots of space and animals, loved the long grass and quiet feel of the place.
Was only there for 1 night but wished we could have stayed longer.
One of the showers wasn’t working but the other one was very warm and nice.
Will be coming back!

Meredith Campsite was a very special experience.
Immersed in nature, lovely and quiet and a fabulous horse box pub where we had a drink with the lovely owners.
The facilities are great with flushing toilets, shower, water and electric should you need it.
But the best bit about Meredith is its location and the wonderful peace and quiet in beautiful views.
Thoroughly recommend Meredith and look forward to returning.

Have been to this site several times over the years.
It is very relaxed and quiet.
Also ideally placed for adventures into Forest of Dean, Herefordshire and parts of Wales.

Excellent site if you want peace and quiet,
No frills and wonderful scenery. Bus stop almost outside the site,
Plenty of walking on the doorstep or just stay where you are,
Take in the views and enjoy.

What a great campsite this was.
Quiet, relaxed and a great atmosphere.
The Prancing Pony horse box bar was genius and the weather helped with the enjoyment.
All really friendly and we’d definitely go back.

Absolutely loved this site. My SIL has been visiting for nearly a decade as avid campers, but we are totally new.
We recently bought our campervan and we nipped out for a night away and stayed here.
Neil was the perfect campsite host- available and helpful if needed, but otherwise we were left in peace.
Kids adored the animals, everyone was super respectful and the camp was quiet at all times.
Highly recommended

We spent 2 days/nights here as a group-2 families with young children.
The site is spacious with plenty of space for the kids to play and explore. We actually didn't leave at all and just enjoyed climbing trees, running in the field and exploring the site.
There is a fab 'bar' which was enjoyed by the grown ups, without the need for a babysitter.
It was lovely that there was no loud music and we were able to enjoy the countryside.
Plenty of facilities dotted around, so convenient no matter where you pitch (there are some stunning little stream pitches).
We will book again.

We had a lovely stay, plenty of space for the kids to run around, you can have fires which the kids loved.
Everyone really friendly, roasted marshmallows every night. Lovely ale at the bar.
Made really welcome, we will be back!
The facilities are basic, but has everything you need, but that is what we wanted.

Fantastic.
Plenty of space and very quiet with a no music policy.
Lovely prancing pony horsebox bar with Rosie old pig cider on draught.
Great value, will come again!
