A Lovely and friendly small site,
It is very peaceful with beautiful views and a lovely walk on Hadrian’s Wall.
Facilities are clean and tidy for a small site.

What a fabulous find, thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay as part of our Hadrians Wall walk.
Owners are very friendly and amenable. Offered us the site extension field which was perfect for us. Fantastic to wake up to the site of lambs running in the field adjacent.
Site is very quiet and peaceful and absolutely perfect for walkers of Hadrians wall walk with easy access. Make sure to take what you need as no shop or pub within easy walking distance.
Toilet & shower block on site which is spotlessly clean.
Will definitely return.

A lovely site, easy to reach, good sized pitches and nice views.
It's run by a very friendly family, on a working farm and is very close to the beautiful countryside along the Hadrians wall path.
Brampton is close by for any shopping etc.
We had a peaceful four nights stay and if we are ever that way again we would certainly revisit.

Nice level pitches and very good value.
I would definitely stay here again.

This campsite was perfect for what we set out to do.
Super quiet area with low light, perfect for star gazing, we were fortunate enough to have the field to ourselves on the first night. Unfortunately the skies were not so clear. But we did get one night that was perfect.
During the day there are amazing walks.
The facilities are powered by an on site wind turbine which was pretty cool.
Highly recommend this place the owners were lovely. Really enjoyable stay. Would definitely return.

Excellent small site- well maintained grass, hot shower, cover for outside sink, very helpful owner who helped out with some milk for our tea.
The site is 100m from the Hadrian’s wall path. Would help to cut a grass pathway from the Hadrian’s Wall path to the farm and take the guess work out of following the signs and that would be the icing on the cake!
Must stop here if you are camping.

What a little Hidden Gem, so peaceful, great sized pitches,
The family that owned the site are very compassionate and made everyone feel welcomed, if needed anything they were there to help,
This is a small site, so if peace and quiet is your type of holiday then book this place,
Close to Carlisle City centre and not too far to roam Scotland,
We are visiting this site again as we enjoyed our stay so much.
Thank once again, Andrew, David and Jane for a lovely stay.

Beautifully kept wee site, set on a working farm, in the middle of the lovely Cumbrian countryside.
Really friendly and helpful family who own the farm/site. WC and shower spotless and perfectly adequate for the size of site.
Open views to the south and Hadrian's Wall path can be joined 100 yards to the north. Ideal touring base or just for sitting staring out of caravan window.
At £15 a night including EHU, very reasonable. Our second visit and we will be back.
