Lovely small campsite and a great, warm welcome.
The facilities are limited but this was the cheapest site we stayed along Hadrian's Wall so our expectations were low.
We were pleasantly surprised - the site is quiet, private, flat and well kept and is actually on the trail path!
The toilet block is uni-sex but this didn't cause a problem. There was plenty of hot water and showers were good.
Would recommend.

Lovely little place run by a friendly family who don't tolerate nonsense. It was nice chatting to Andrew.
Toilet and shower facilities were spacious and clean, with hot water and a hair dryer!
There's the option to pay by cash or card, which is really useful.
The camping areas are right beside sheep fields, so you get great views of the lambs this time of year.

We loved Bleatarn Farm! Friendly, spotless, peaceful and owners who couldn’t have been more helpful.
We stayed here in our vans while walking Hadrian’s Wall (which runs right behind the site) and were sad to leave.

Lovely small site with everything you would need. Showers and toilets all very clean and lovely and warm.
The farmers were nice and helpful.
Seemed to be mainly older couples and families when we were there, made for a very peaceful site.
Good place to visit the lakes or the borders from.

Very well kept campsite. Each unit space is generous, so feels intimate.
Toilets and showers very clean, water was always hot and good power in the shower. The free hairdryer and hair straightener is great.
We enjoy walking so the location was perfect.
The owners and friendly and helpful.
We stayed on the jubilee and they provided an afternoon tea in the tent area for everyone, generous and a lovely touch.
Would recommended and will stay again.

Stayed while back packing along Hadrian's wall. Owner was very welcoming, and so was dog.
There is a patch set aside for tents only, so you're not camped next to a car or van, and it has a couple of picnic tables.
Basic, but all the necessary amenities are there, and the showers especially are warm with plenty of space to dry and change.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way up to Scotland.
What an absolute gem of a site,
Will definitely make a point of staying again.
We were the only ones there, but even if it was full it would still be a peaceful spot to spend time in.
Facilities are spotless too.
Owner very friendly.
Recommend highly.

A true gem, hidden along Hadrians wall, one of my favourite walks was down the fields into the farm from Birdoswold.
The showers were better than the hotels I stayed in, hot and powerful.
The view was perfect and the farm owners were helpful and kind. The site isn't huge so it was quiet and secluded away.
I definitely would stay again.
Also close by were a variety of country pubs in driving distance to enjoy a countryside drink and meal.

What a wonderful site. Booked last minute on a Friday night and what a find.
Great views of both the North Penines and Lake District hills.
The owners are super friendly and the facilities are exactly what you need.
