Chose to visit this site as walking Hadrian's Wall and it's very convenient just a being stone's throw from the path.
However, we stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the view of the northern Pennines in this pleasant rural location after each day's walking.
The facilities were clean and with hot water and we may return and use it as a base to visit Carlisle, or perhaps visit other local attractions such as the air museum next time.

Absolutely fabulous site. Friendly owners, lovely well kept grounds, outstanding views, peaceful, good facilities, dog friendly.
Several recycling bins. Perfect for our needs. Sorry we didn’t get to say goodbye in person, and collect some apples. We only waved as it was tipping down with rain,
We would without doubt go back to Bleatarn Farm, and plan to visit again next year.
Thanks for an excellent stay

Friendly welcome from the owner. Easy to find.
Beautifully set-up little site with lovely, clean toilets and warm electric showers.
Washing up sink also provided and recycling bins for your rubbish.
We stayed one night and it was quiet and perfect for our stop-over on the way home.
Will definitely try to book again when we’re up this way!

On our stay it was more a campsite then caravan, we were the only tourer with 3 camper vans and around 12 tents, putting to much strain on the 2 toilets and showers
On entering the site we were greeted by who I think was the owner he took my £40 2 night fee anyway
The site is in a rural position next to a working farm which was no problem, it was quite both nights so rested well
We used the site for stop over for Scotland but in hindsight we should have just stayed the 1 night and have an extra in Scotland
All in all nice little site but amenities stretched with a full site
The biggest no go for us, maybe because we're old, is the communal toilet block, nobody on here will convince me it is right that any other young gender person should be sat in the next cubicle to a 40+ male after a good night of food and drink in his tent

The ground was very flat and well kept.
The bathroom was very clean.
The farmer was super friendly.
Everything you could want.
The farmer lent us a cable to charge our phones and gave us advice on where to visit locally.
Best campsite we have been to.

Very nice and welcoming campsite with a perfect pitch and great facilities.
It's been a great starting for our family-walking-holiday.
The kids really like the sheeps next to the site ;-)
Thanks a lot!
