We have stopped on this site a couple of times whilst traveling up and down from Scotland, each time it’s been peaceful and relaxing,
The owners are very friendly and come round to collect your site fee and stop and have a chat which makes for a nice personal friendly touch that seems to have been lost these days.
The site is always neat and tidy and has hard standing, toilets are kept clean and there is dishwashing facilities to the side of the toilet block.
We are returning end of August to stay longer to explore the area more but will continue to use it as a stop over on our travels as it is perfectly located.

Fantastic little campsite, very quiet and well away from a main road.
Campsite is on a working farm and it's so lovely waking up to the sound of sheep and cows.
The owners are really friendly and cant help you enough if you have any problems.

Great campsite with everything we needed during our stay while walking Hadrians Wall. It's close to the path and well sign-posted so it's location is super convenient.
Be mindful, there aren't any shops/pub etc around so you will need to bring your own food to eat in the evening.
The facilities were good with two warm showers, two loos and even straighteners and a hairdryer (which was much appreciated after three nights camping)!
There is no 'communal' area or indoors space like you might get at other campsites, but depends if you are looking for/ expect this!
There were sheep in the field next to the pitch - which we enjoyed and made it memorable.

Welcoming, friendly owners - checked I was settled and happy as I was travelling on my own.
Plenty of space - only seven standings.
Lovely hot showers and clean facilities.
Plenty of places to visit, walk or cycle.
Return visit planned

Lovely small campsite and a great, warm welcome.
The facilities are limited but this was the cheapest site we stayed along Hadrian's Wall so our expectations were low.
We were pleasantly surprised - the site is quiet, private, flat and well kept and is actually on the trail path!
The toilet block is uni-sex but this didn't cause a problem. There was plenty of hot water and showers were good.
Would recommend.

Lovely little place run by a friendly family who don't tolerate nonsense. It was nice chatting to Andrew.
Toilet and shower facilities were spacious and clean, with hot water and a hair dryer!
There's the option to pay by cash or card, which is really useful.
The camping areas are right beside sheep fields, so you get great views of the lambs this time of year.

We loved Bleatarn Farm! Friendly, spotless, peaceful and owners who couldn’t have been more helpful.
We stayed here in our vans while walking Hadrian’s Wall (which runs right behind the site) and were sad to leave.
