Excellent stop over just minutes from the M6 with very clean facilities.
We took a very nice 9km walk East along Hadrian’s Wall path, dropping down to Sally’s Pub for food and back around the Northern perimeter of Carlisle airport (flying museum open Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

Very nice and quiet small campsite with electric hookup for a great price. With Carlisle just down the road it’s easy to go out for food or do some shopping.
We used the campsite for a stop over on the way back from a trip to Scotland and was the perfect little one night stop over.
Toilets and showers are easily accessed with 2 toilets and 1 shower between the site (plenty for number of people using it).
The site is nice and quiet located just out of the city and far enough away from the M6 so noise isn’t an issue for a quiet nights sleep.
Hard standing pitches and grass pitches are available.

Absolutely wonderful site situated perfectly for anyone walking Hadrians wall, Andrew couldn't have been more helpful,
The facilities were completely spotless and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anyone looking for a place to pitch a tent or park a camper.

The walk onto the farm alone was spectacular.
First sighting of the wall and an amazing end.
Great showers and camping facilities, lovely welcoming hosts and fantastic views.
If walking there are no shops locally so bring food!

Simple, clean facilities and friendly.
The Hadrians Wall Walk goes through the farm so good for a walk, close to Carlisle for shopping if needed but right out in the country for peace and quiet.
I used it as a one night stop-off on a journey to the highlands.
Very good.

Friendly and welcoming host. Chatty and knowledgeable about the local area.
Simple and extremely clean facilities. The shower was particularly welcome after a long day of hiking.
Plenty of space for tent in our designated camping area.
All and all a great stay.

Excellent quiet friendly site. Room for 6 vans and separate field for walkers. And their tents.
Small facilities as expected, but very clean.
Great for stop off on way to Scotland.
