Bleatarn was a wonderful place to stay while I walked the Hadrians Wall Path.
The showers were hot and clean and the site was clean and tidy.
The owner provide access onto the path across one of their fields which was very helpful and there was even a honesty snack cupboard.

The campsite is clean & tidy. No real "check in" but the farmer pops over to see you & to make sure you're ok. No-one chasing for payment.
Nice & quiet - and close to Hadrian's Wall path. Dog friendly.
Bit of a hidden gem.

What a beautiful site bleatarn is.
The owner was really lovely and welcoming and told us all about the sweet tuck shop his daughters own idea what a clever idea.
So peaceful and we walked the hadrians wall path lots of stunning views very clean toilets and showers.

We needed an overnight stop on our way to Scotland. Bleatarn farm was perfect, so much so we booked again for our return journey.
The site was very quiet even though there were many youngsters camping overnight.
The toilet block was clean and well maintained but would benefit from being expanded to cater for the large number of campers.
Great site!

I found this to be a lovely small farm site.
Proper toilets and showers, with dish washing up area, recycling bins and a place to charge phones.
And a very sweet honesty cupboard of things one may quickly need, especially if walking or cycling.
From dish washing liquid to tea bags, packets of crisps to female hygiene.
Thanks for all.

The site is ideal for walkers wishing to visit Hadrians Wall,
It is fairly basic but the facilities provided are excellent and I would recommend it for those people.
However due to it's remote location away from public transport it is not really for those in a motorhome wishing to visit the city of Carlisle.

Well laid out site with excellent facilities, hard standings, very clean. Very peaceful with lovely views.
Better showers than on many club and big commercial sites.
Friendly welcome.
Situated by Hadrian's Wall and so good for Roman interest.
Recycling bins for each & every type of waste.
Close to M6 and so ideal site for stop if travelling to or from Scotland or North Lakes.
A hard surfaced path to Elsan point would be good, but now I'm being really picky.

Very nice and flat camping spot, the facilities are near and clean.
It is a small camping with mainly campervans and small tents.
Very friendly host.

Bleatarn farm was amazing! We received very quick communication from the owners who greeted us promptly and personally as we arrived with lots of answers to our children’s questions about Hadrian’s Wall.
We were made to feel very welcome and had the whole of the caravan section to ourselves as we had booked a rare quiet night.
The site was peaceful, views were beautiful and facilities were very clean and neat - shower and toilet block was warm and well lit at all times of day and night.
