This is the third time we have stayed here, and again had a very pleasant stay, lots of info about surrounding area , and also a great list of pubs to visit, all which are made available at reception. Staff very friendly and also very helpful, I think the facilities are in short supply, possibly could benefit another set of showers and sinks for washing dishes, as when we left, the site was very busy, causing a long wait for the showers. But on the whole a very clean and tidy site, and will definitely return

Lovely well maintained site with fabulous level tent pitches. The toilet block was well maintained and the showers fabulous, lots of lovely hot water and huge cubicles. The walking route to the village is through the owners garden which is really lovely.
Good tip on previous reviews re sat nav as the turnoff is off the main road and the satnav takes you into the village. Road noise was background but not terribly intrusive. Would absolutely return.

Visiting Oxford, or as I do Silverstone G.P etc: this well maintained site is for you. Toilet facilities are second to none, well manicured grass areas and hard standings with 10amp.
Wash up facility, (showers included) in pitch fee. Tent area (no open fires) local fishing and several N.T properties: 1) Farnborough Hall only 2m, 2) approx 4m to Upton House, 3) 10m to Blenheim Palace all a must. If you're into Farming and sheep especially.

As always the not so great bits.
Some road noise can be experienced here. You do get used to it though and ends up not so bad.
Showers, my pet gripe with campsites is turn the pressure up please! nice and hot but not brillant pressure.
The good bits then
Nicely located but don't follow sat nav go to this site via Banbury.
Lovely spacious pitches.
Very large tenting areas.
The facilities are in nice condition well cleaned and warm.
Definitely one to return to but please tweak the shower pressure.

Stayed for 3 nights at the end of August and had really good weather. Lovely site and the owner showed us to a choice of ehu pitches for tents on his bike and was very friendly. Site nice and flat with good access for vehicles. There are also two other fields with no ehu for campers, one small and one large so good choice. There are a few static caravans which seemed to be let out to workmen, which was not a problem as they left early in the morning and equally went to sleep early so no noise at night.
There is a good fenced off dog pooh corner and various local walks. Toilets and showers very good and free! There are two stainless steel washing up sinks so no problem there with plenty of hot water. There has been a mention by previous reviews of road noise, but this is certainly nothing to worry about.
Nice local pub just a few minutes walk away but no food, although just a short drive away to the Red Lion in Cropredy you have a very good choice of food and ales!
Will certainly return.

Went to this site after reading some nice reviews.
On arrival we attended the house that forms the office and met the husband of the owner. Paid our fees and went off to find our pitch. Very nice spot with a water tap nearby.
Nice large level pitch on well grassed area.
The toilet and shower block were clean but not large enough for the amount of people on the site for the bank holiday weekend. Both ladies and gents loo's were without paper towels or loo paper from 7pm one evening till about 11am the following morning. Replaced when wife went to the house to advise the owners
The showers are very large. The Gents has one shower unit, there are two in the entrance to the block and I understand there is one in the ladies.
The dish wash up area was two sinks are sited inside a small outhouse.
That said it is a nice area to visit we went into Banbury and used the Park & Ride into Oxford, there are also some lovely villages around to explore.

Arrived early afternoon to a very warm welcome and a very helpful gentlemen at reception, we had a choice of where to pitch our tent, we chose the top field against the hedge line where there was enough space, the ground was flat and well maintained, the whole site is very clean and well cared for, the toilet and shower facilities are top notch, good showers and very clean.
Our only problem was the traffic noise and not the hum of the M40 but the traffic from the A423 which seems to be busier at night from heavy goods vehicles, the trucks rumbled past into the early hours. Saturday and Sunday was better but still a very busy road.
If you do not mind the noise of the traffic this is a lovely site with lovely villages locally to explore and a cosy pub in the village of Mollington (The Green Man) The pub in Cropredy is friendly and welcoming.

A nice site thats flat enough for a good nights sleep in your tent. Its a lot bigger than you think with a large top field that was being used by a group of motorcaravanners when we were there.
Daughter loved the ponies in the field and even on Sunday morning the church bells are quiet enough not to disturb you.
As others have pointed out some background road noise (think its from the M40) but just pretend its a river.
Showers are large with 2 that are in the entrance hall of the block meaning that they can be used by either male or female.
If the site is full then Dishwashing may be an issue as there is only one sink.
Top field has a dog exercise enclosure.
Its on our list for another visit.

About 4 miles outside banbury, beautifully kept site, with friendly welcome, owners were out so we were told 'oh pay when you se them' lol. Lush grass, next to field with small ponies, church bells ringing in background, sun shining, loos/showers all very well kept. All in all a lovely site that we'll be returning to many times as my family live in town. Oh and when we did go to pay as we left the lady said, oh you dont have to leave yet, no fixed leaving or arriving time.

On arrival, you need to go to the front door of the site owners' house, which doubles as the reception. Payment is required on arrival. The site is very tidy and well maintained: lovely floral displays; well cut grass and hedges; wheelie bins hidden from view. The site didn't appear as large as it really was, because it was split into smaller sections which gave a more cosy feel. The toilets were clean, although perhaps a bit spidery up in the ceiling! Showers were enormous - ideal for families with young children because the whole family would fit into one shower cubicle!
Very little road noise. (Sadly some of the neighbouring campers were rather inconsiderate on Saturday night with a domestic argument at 3 am and others laughing, playing football and packing up tent at 6 am!) Plenty of room for children to play safely in the large field at the end of the campsite.
Nice pub in Mollington village (short walk from campsite - the campsite owners will give directions). A short drive away we found another pub, tucked away down a narrow road in Cropredy, that does slightly unusual food - we tried the sizzling fillet steak on a hot stone and the Thai risotto with tempura vegetables and chilli dip. Unfortunately we can't remember the name of the place but as there only appear to be two pubs in the village it shouldn't be difficult to find! (Wouldn't recommend the other one - the Brasenose - because the barman wasn't very pleasant or helpful)
There is a 24 hour Tesco as you drive into the outskirts of Banbury which is handy for stocking up on supplies, and during our stay we took the opportunity to visit the nearby National Trust house at Canons Ashby.
