Lovely well mowed and maintained site. Midweek nights were very peaceful and quiet but the weekend was not quite the same. The top field appeared to have been booked out by a car enthusiast group who were quite noisy both all evening and 6. 30am on the Sunday morning revving engines beeping horns, shouting across to each other etc.
The road could be heard - particularly passing motorbikes - but wasn't a problem.
Site owners were lovely, went out of their way to be helpful and fresh baked bread - how marvellous!
Toilets clean although again at the weekend there were queues. Showers very spacious, plenty of hot waterand had been cleaned but always had grass/mud in them when I visited. One shower each for gents and ladies plus two unisex - again not enough at weekends.
Children in the top field playing ball and bat/ball games - very close to the site road and the caravans on occasion. Great little dog exercise area.
Easy access to Banbury and Oxford. Tesco, Sainsbury and Morrisons in Banbury.
Overall we would go back but hopefully midweek or a different weekend to the car club.

After being turned away from Silverstone, queuing for over 6 hours! to be told that the campsites were now closed due to flooding. My sister-in-law managed to find us a pitch here.
How lucky we were. Lovely flat mowed grass pitches, hardly any hint of mud. Beautiful clean and well appointed toilet block. Peaceful countryside surrounding the site, was bliss to sit and relax after our stressful day. And the best bit were the owners. They were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and were really sympathetic to our predicament.
Definitely recommend this site and if I am in the area will be staying here.

We stayed just one night at Anita's but were very sorry we couldn't stay longer. The site is very well kept and there are all the usual facilities. The showers were spacious with plenty of room for dressing, loads of hot water. Pitches are well spaced and not cramped. Although the main road is quite close by, we were not particularly troubled by traffic noise. The trees act as natural soundproofing. We didn't have time to venture into the surrounding area but have decided that we will return to Anita's later this year. We are not able to comment on child-friendliness

A nice well maintained site, spacious pitches, friendly owners, good amenities. We stayed for the May bank holiday and the site was not full, presumably due to the recent poor weather.
There are only two things we would fault the site on, one within the owners control and one not.
1. Road noise! The A423 seems to be busy most of the time and it is disturbing, we were in the second row of pitches from the road. There was also shooting close by on the Saturday which frightened our dog in the same way fireworks do. None of this would be within the owners control but out does detract from our stay.
2. Seasonal or residential pitches. We were next to a part of the site which appeared to have around 8 seasonal / residential caravans. For the most part everything was fine, but we did encounter a drunken resident who frightened my wife to the point she would no longer walk through that part of the site to get to the dog exercise field, and also loud music from another resident for an entire afternoon and into the evening.

Stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend. Nice site with level gravel pitches. Yes it is close to the road but didn't really bother us but maybe we would feel differently if we were in a tent. Toilets were clean and showers lovely and hot. Lovely walk from camp site into Mollington and over fields via public footpaths to Farnborough. Stopped for a drink in the pub (quite expensive) and then walked over fields to the back of the camp site. It would be helpful if there was a map of the walks as although easy to get to Farnborough a bit hit and miss for the return journey. Owner very helpful and friendly. Didn't make the pub in Mollington so maybe next time!

Just had a few days here and have to say what a delight Anitas is a lovely clean site the showers and toilets were immaculate, as already said the main road is quite close but it really didn't bother us at all. The owner was very friendly and helpful pitches are spacious and quite level, a short cut through the cemetery at the back of the main house brings you to the green man a quaint and delightful pub and as a village pub there wasn't any of the oh look outsiders every one was very friendly and chatty. No shop on site but a tesco superstore is located just down the road. Ideally situated for visiting Warwickshire and Oxfordshire as we did.

Our daughter bought us a weekend in a pod at Anitas back in April so we decided to book the last day of Sept/1st Oct as it would be too cool to take the tent so we would take full advantage of the pod - how wrong were we! One of the hottest weekends of the year.
After a bit of a mix up with bookings, our friends rang to book a camping pitch next to our pod and they had booked out all five pods to a cycling club, I contacted the owner and reminded her I had booked back in April and there was absolutely no problem, but I am glad I didn't just turn up or they may have been!
A lovely little site, very level, nice toilets and showers (lovely & hot), 2 sinks for washing up, everybody was really friendly who were staying here.
The pod was small, my bedroom compartment in my tent is bigger than the whole of the pod but thankfully we had taken our kitchen tent with us otherwise I don't know how what we would have done with cooking equipment etc as there was nowhere for it.
As someone else has mentioned there was a hum of road noise but you soon get used to it and it certainly wasn't a problem.
Nice walks around the site, we wandered into Mollington to the Green Man PH the first night(only a few minutes walk) and were made to feel welcome, and on Saturday we took the walk across the fields into nearby Farnborough (it took about 45 mins) to the pub there for a rather nice Pimms and a pint in the beer garden.
I would visit this site again with the tent but I don't think I would pay the extra for the pods, they are very nice and and its something a bit different but I honestly don't think they are big enough, there were only the two of us and we certainly couldn't have sat in there with the bed we would have had to have moved the air bed, luckily the weather was fantastic so that wasn't a problem, and I should imagine they are very cosy in the winter.

We had only booked three nights but ended up staying for five as we enjoyed this site and our time here.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. The site was clean and tidy. Pitches had plenty of room and were quite level.
Their is just one amenities block with had nice large showers and hot water and space to move and change. The toilets were clean and tidy.
Plenty of room for kids to run about without interfering with anyone. Our two children 11yrs and 3yrs both had bikes and had plenty space to ride around.
Their are some lovely walks around the site with ponies to look at and stroke if your lucky. Also some chickens around. The owner has beautiful gardens and one walk goes straight through the owners garden into a lovely church yard and down into the village.
Their are no shops however in the village but there is a pub but we didn't use it. Their is a Tesco supermarket but this is about a 5/6 min car drive away but easy to find.
The site is medium size, their is also a large camping field and also the owner has Pods for rent in one section. Fresh water taps are close by and easy to access. Their is also a fenced off dog walking area to one side.
My children really enjoyed it here and their was plenty of other children for them to play with.
It is off a busy main road but this shouldn't stop you going as its a lovely place and you soon get used to the soft din of traffic. I found it reasonably priced.

Stayed at Anita's for 5 night's and what a site. The owners are friendly but unobtrusive, everything is very informal. The site is well kept with lovely grass or hardstanding spacious pitches. The toilet and shower facilities are clean with huge showers and loads of hot water. Although there are only three showers there was never a wait.
The owner will let you walk through his garden into the 12th century churchyard to visit a quaint little pub 10 mins but no food.
Nearest pub with food is about 3 miles. After years of caravanning this was my first time with the TT and we really enjoyed it. The site is highly recommended.
The local area has lots of stately homes and is near to Stratford on Avon. We went for a fishing break and the local area is surrounded by fantastic waters.

Just returned from a 4 day stay at this site, must agree with other reviews - this site is a very nice place to stay at,
the touring pitches are a very good size, us and friends had pitch 1 & 2 at the back of the toilet block and we felt in our own little world with plenty of space. Other touring pitches looked just as nice, although we thought 1& 2 together was very large for us and private. Other pitches are on a gentle slope.
A separate field available for tents and also an area with several very nice looking pods on if you fancied staying in these, hired out by the owner.
Plenty of space to walk about the site and also exercise the dog without being in anyones way. A designated doggy Poo area available with a bin for the doggie waste. Plenty of water points about the site.
The only slight downside I can say is that this site being at the side of the main road, you do hear the hum of traffic day & night, but don't let this put you off you soon forget about it.
The village is a little stroll down the side of the owners home and a lovely little church, however, no shop in the village. Their is a pub but we didn't visit it at all. The owner gives you a list of local pubs if you fancy visiting or having a meal out.
Banbury is only a short drive away with plenty of shops and a shopping centre for all of your needs, then a lovely walk down by the canal to see the narrow boats / locks.
Stratford upon Avon is about 30mins car ride away and well worth a visit, again the lovely canal to walk along with plenty of ducks / swans etc to see. Regular movement of the narrow boats so that you can sit and watch them use the locks. A nice little central area (grass / bench's) where you can sit watching the world go by while you have a snack and a cuppa, or sit out side the pub and enjoy a cold drink and food.
Open top bus tour available to see the local sights, costs about £12 per person, but if you pick up one of the tour leaflets you can walk the sights very easily.
