Situated just outside the village of Mollington, five miles from Banbury, The site is very spacious, neat and tidy. Very friendly gentleman showed us to our pitch which was on short, mown grass and even the hedges around the site, separating caravans from tents were well kept. The toilets and showers were very clean and during our visit did not have to queue.

There are two washing up sinks with plenty of hot water.

The only downside that I can find is that the site doesn't have a shop, but there is a Tesco just outside Banbury so not so bad.

A very enjoyable and relaxed stay, already planning our next visit.

We found the owners to be very friendly and helpful. Nice location, plenty of places to walk the dogs. Site clean and well kept - however - 4 very disappointed children when on arrival it was brought to our attention that bikes were not allowed on site and then the children were also asked not to play on the 'ball game field' as it had been hired to a caravan rally! As far as we are aware there was no play area even though it details one on this website.
We found the toilets, although nice, could not cater for the busy bank holiday, queues for the showers sometimes 6+ people waiting and more than once no toilet paper or handtowels. In summary, a good site for adults during off peak times.

We discovered this site earlier this year when we bought our first motor home and have already been back two more times. The village of Mollington is delightful and very friendly though there are no shops. The pub is quaint but only open in the evenings and the provision of bar meals is unpredictable so don't rely on an evening meal in the village. However the pretty villages Farnborough, Warmington and Cropredy are all very close and all have pubs serving very good food. Cropredy also has a well stocked shop on the canal side. As for the site, expect a friendly welcome from the owners. It's well maintained with little name tags to confirm your pitch which we found a nice touch. The site is a good mix of hard standing and grass with lots of options for electric hook-up. The shower block is more than adequate with disabled facilities and never seems to run out of loo rolls, soap and paper hand towels. There's a little dog run area which we find helpful with our dog. The disposal points for grey water and toilet cassettes are convenient. We believe there are cottages to rent and plans agreed for timber pods so all-in-all this site has something for most campers. Banbury is only three miles away for large supermarkets and a nice town for shopping. Despite some road noise we will continue to return and would recommend Anita's to anyone.

This is a beautiful camp and caravan site. The pitches are well laid out in the caravan field, which is where we were due to us requiring electrical hook up. The camping field is also well laid out with pitch numbers and plenty of space between the units. The owner are lovely and friendly and Mr Owner takes you to your pitch on his bike and is very pleasant, offering assistance in putting your unit into place. The facilities are spotless with lovely hot showers in wet room type environment. The grass is short and tidy. There is a dog poop area and lots of walks from the site. A lovely area also. The nearest shops are about 6 miles in Banbury. There are several pubs in the locality, but I believe they need a car, except for the one in the village of Mollington. Overall a lovely experience and we will return. Highly recommended if visiting the counties of Warwickshire and Oxfordshire. Good road systems all around.

We arrived to a warm welcome by the warden.

The site was very spacious, neat and tidy. The toilets and showers were very clean. The only alteration I would make is to add more of them, as there was only two showers each (male & female) and three toilets for the ladies and two for the men.If it was busy a long wait would be likely.

The area was lovely, five miles from Banbury, a nice long walk via the canal. In the other direction, Farnborourgh, a nice pub for food.

All in all well worth a visit, we will be going again sometime.

Well manicured, neatly laid out, tidy and efficiently run campsite. Gravel driveways. Tent field separate from caravans. Short, mown grass, soft for the pegs. Really clean loos and showers - never had to queue. Covered dishwashing facilities. Bit of road hum but hardly a problem. Lots of families, all very quiet. No play equipment on site (hurrah). No noise at night apart from the clink of wine glasses! No evidence of yobs - a joy. Location is handy for Cotswold towns. Local pub in Mollington village an easy walk with children (but no food and a gruff landlord sadly!). Village has a super park for children up to teenage years (adventure play equipment). Great site, superbly run - the site owner is lovely. We will return.

I went to this campsite along with my other half, and another couple as we were going to the Formula Renault World Series just up the road at Silverstone. We were struggling to find a site, but the lovely people at Anita's Touring and Caravan Park were very accommodating. They said they were very busy, but would try and squeeze us in.

When we arrived the host, a gentleman, was very hospitable and in good spirits, and directed us to our pitch. To say they were squeezing us in would be a complete overstatement. We had a corner plot, but the field in which we camped could easily have accommodated another 30 tents!

They obviously like to leave some space for children to play ball games, as there was a huge area in the middle of the field that could have hosted a test match!

The showers and toilets were in excellent condition and very clean.

It is a lovely area to camp in and we intend to return sometime in the future.

The only downside, as stated by previous reviews, is that the road which runs adjacent to the site, can be a little busy. You can get past this, by trying to camp on the other side of the field.

The price is very reasonable.

For 4 people, two in a four berth, and two in a two berth, it came to £21 for the night.

£7 for the two man, £10 for the 4 man, and £1 per person.

All in all an excellent site, that caters for both tent and caravan superbly, and compares to some of the excellent sites I have seen both here and abroad.

Have just returned from this site a little disappointed after reading the reviews on here.

I shall start with the bad points:

The road noise is worse than stated if you are in the top field and the lorry's were coming through consistently all day and night and were visible too!

This campsite had an extremely large group of 'men and sons' in one of the fields making more and more noise as the day and night went on and more alcohol had been drunk. TBH, if I had known that they allowed large groups of such size I would not have gone, so a little upset that they did not inform us of this beforehand, especially knowing we had 3 young children. A few people had to complain!

Local pub does not allow dogs and is very small

GOOD POINTS

Toilet and shower blocks are exceptionally clean and also nice and warm which is excellent.

Very nice pretty villages to walk through.

Owners have lots of information leaflets of cycling routes, walks etc etc to help you out if needed.

Lots of space for the children to run around in or to play ball games in.

This is a fantastic little site. With a dedicated field for tents, I say 'field', the area was so beautifully kept the grass was a like a lawn and the hedges on all side were well kept. In fact from the moment you turn off the road its clear this is a very well kept site. We never had to queue for showers and the cubicles were lovely and large and nice and clean.

As others have mentioned, there is a pretty little walk into the village through the garden of the owners house, through the church yard and on to the pub - small with small garden out back and considering not an obvious 'family' pub they were very welcoming to our 6 yr old son, showing us through to the garden.

If I had to be picky, it would be that there was slight road noise, noticeable only at night - not a big deal but thought I should mention.

A lovely site. There was nothing to do for the children (we knew before we went) which meant that they had to make their own fun - isn't that what it's all about? There is a play area in the village, although this is more suited for older children.
Toilets and showers clean and well stocked. I didn't need to queue for showers, however, I noticed a queue forming later on in the morning. Lovely showers with lots of hot water. The only criticism is that there is nowhere really to put clothes in the shower cubicle. There is a small seat, but this gets wet.
Lots of lovely villages to explore with quaint cottages and country gardens. Will definitely return.
