We have had two visits and it is a really lovely site. It is very peaceful and the shower/toilet block were kept very clean. There is a dog walking area that is a decent size. It is a shame that it is not closer to some shops but being so close to Banbury it is not a bother to pop down the road. We will be going back again!

We spent a very pleasant weekend on this site. The weather had not been good but the site was well drained and the grass in good condition. Everything was clean and well laid out. Excellent showers and toilet block. The site is about five miles out of Banbury and there is little available in the immediate area, there is not a play area for children. However there is plenty of space for football etc. There is a little road noise but nothing too much. The site is well hedged giving a feeling of privacy.

Pleasant site and owners. Great toilet / shower area, no improvement suggestions spring to mind. Re: the sound of passing traffic: l've had that at both this and the only other campsite l've been to so far, and for me it wasn't that much of a problem really. Cropredy(pronounced "Croperdy") is the nearest shops and is an interesting place indeed, with summer dos going on. Nicely priced.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anita's Caravan Park, pub around the corner at Mollington. Excellent site, clean, well maintained and with friendly staff. Tesco down the road (5 mile) and there is excellent fishing at Clattercote, just 1 mile round the corner, full of big carp. Can't wait for our next visit.

We were camping with some friends, and had allocated pitches with the 2 tents together. Was quite quiet when we arrived but got busier by the Saturday. Lots of room in the middle of both the fields for the kids to play ball without disturbing others. (we had 5 between us to keep amused !) The kids enjoyed waking up in the morning and going to see the horses in the next field. No play area, but lots of space for them to run around safely. The shower block was fab, with large shower cubicles, and free powerful hot showers, no cues for showers even though there was only 2/3, but you just picked the best time to go, and always kept immaculately clean. Good washing up area, although on busy weekends, maybe could do with another one ? A bit of road noise, but not excessive. overall a really nice well kept site.

Stayed three nights over weekend. Well laid out with dedicated pitches, identified by name plate in ground as owner not always available. Owner laid back and collected money on last day. Site busy on weekend, including a child's birthday camping party, but amenities coped well (no sign of queue). No playground but large field OK for ball games etc. One pub in village which cannot be relied upon for food. - good pint. Handy for Banbury (6 miles) which has everything you need including 24 hour Tesco. Dedicated small dog exercise area. Good value for money

August 2005 This was my second visit to this campsite, having discovered it by chance last year. It was good to see that standards are just as good as last year. The site offers a good basic plot with space for kids to burn off a little energy with kite flying, football etc. It's handy for Banbury, Oxford, Stratford and local canal walks in nearby Cropredy.
Facilities include a clean toilet and shower block, drinking water supplies around the camp site and a dog run/toilet area (unfortunately, with attending a nearby folk music festival, I was unable to bring my dog).
Local roads and a nearby motorway present a bit of a noise nuisance but this becomes negligible background noise after an hour or so, my partner and I had no problem relaxing with a book, and with our radio switched on at low volume, traffic noise was negated anyway.
I'm looking forward to making another reservation next August.

May 2005 Just returned from the Bank Holidey weekend at Anita's. What a lovely site, helpful and considerate owners, large pitches, good toilets and peace and quiet. The site was full with a good mix of tents and caravans but no feeling of overcrowding, all the other visitors were friendly and helpful and we had a very pleasant and relaxing weekend. I agree with some of the other reviews that the road noise could be an issue for tenters in the far field, but we were not aware of it in our caravan. We will certainly be back again.

May 2004 Arrived at campsite on a bank holiday. Owners very nice and let you choose your own pitch. Scouted around and picked the camping field which was quite full. Had plenty of space to pitch, but unfortunately this was next to a very busy road, therefore lots of traffic noise. toilets and showers were clean and plenty of hot water, although had to queue as bank holiday. No play facilities although big area in middle of field for children to play. Nice campsite but very basic, no lights in field so take torch, and also quite a way from toilet facilities, so if you have little ones a bucket a must for night time!

August 2004 Very nice, clean and tidy site. Immaculate, but small, toilet/shower block. Most of the site is well sheltered with dense hedges, but the pitches on the perimeter (without hook-up) look a bit exposed. Dogs welcome if kept on a lead at all times, but the doggy exercise area is very small. Large tent field at top of site has plenty of room for kids to play. Very well priced, cost the two of us, plus Tess dog, just £27 including hook-up for three nights.
Site is very close to the main road, so there is a fair bit of road noise. Other than that, a good place to relax for a weekend.
