We stayed at Anita's for one night. We arrived much later in the evening than planned but they still warmly welcomed us and ensured we were fully briefed on the facilities. The campsite was very well kept with great showers. They clearly took pride in their work and in the running of the campsite. We didn't get to see the local area as we were passing through. I would highly recommend Anita's Campsite.

Stayed here for nearly two weeks whilst touring aroumd the area. Ideal base for many locations like Hattons Country world and Warwick castle. We had a very enjoyable stay and were made very welcome. Morning papers were obtained for us and information given for good pubs for food etc. The site warden Dave is also very helpful for any problems. It did concern me that staying here in the peak season would be difficult due to the few showers and toilets on the site. My only problem was having a shave during the day as the toilet block is very dark with the lights unable to be switched on as they seem to be on timers. Overall, an ideal site in this area at this time of year with all the hardstandings available.

A very big warm welcome when we arrived, we only stayed 2 nights to break up our journey back home and glad we did. Great site, nice big pitches and the break down of all the pubs was great. I would recommend the George and Dragon for the burgers.
The dog walking area is really good too.
Well stocked shop and the bakery sounds good and will try next time we visit.
Would love to come again, my only concern would be if its busy there isn't enough showers for the site.
But apart from that would definitely recommend.
Cheers

We have just returned from a two night stay at this site - arranged at very late notice and thanks to the very lovely owners! We stayed in our tent on a spacious, flat pitch towards the back of the park, conveniently located quite close to the extra loo block, but next to the horses' field!
Even though on our first night the site was packed with bank holiday-makers, it still didn't feel too overcrowded (although the toilets got some use!) and on our second night, we were only one of three in our area so we had loads of space and it was just bliss!
The park itself - including the washing up facilities, toilets and showers - is extremely clean and well-maintained - the owners and warden clearly look after it. The shop is also excellent and being able to order freshly baked croissants was brill!
The only negative is the road noise - although at night it certainly wasn't a problem.
Overall this is a fantastic site and we would highly recommend it to campers and those with caravans or motorhomes.

A return for us to a site that we have enjoyed with friends several times.
Location is lovely and the shop is handy with baked breads in the mornings a lovely change.
Unfortunately, we visited on the bank holiday weekend when the touring, pods, tent field and season holders were full. The rally field was also very busy with tourers and with a birthday party that we hadn't been made aware of. Whilst we appreciate that sites have limited time to make a living it is unreasonable to expect three gents toilets to cope with the number of visitors. The cleaner also struggled to maintain the standards we had come to expect as well. Having raised the matter with the owners since we think that we will have to follow their advice 'perhaps a Bank Holiday isn't the time for yourselves to visit. '

We stopped here for one night only, so we decided not to take the caravan but instead took the tent. To be honest I wish we could have stayed longer. A warm welcome, level good-sized pitches, clean toilets and showers and an overall quality feel. We didn't have much time to explore, but we did go to the Brasenose pub in Cropredy for our evening meal. This wasn't so good, and having researched further since our visit I think The Inn at Farnborough may have been a better choice, but I am not reviewing the pub. We would recommend this site for a long or short stay, and will definitely use it again if we are in the area.

This site is a gem, we used it for a 3 night break, a very warm welcome upon arrival, and we were shown to our pitch. A gravel hard stand pitch with EHU, the pitch was gently sloping but a good size and the site was very well maintained, the grass was short and the whole site was very well maintained.
The site shop sells the basics and a few bits n bobs like ice creams but the real treat was you can book freshly baked bread and pastries for the morning. Breakfast tasted great after the freshly baked fayre was consumed! then off into the cotswolds which started with chipping norton about 15 miles away.
The toilet and shower facilities were immaculate and well maintained, showers were huge wet rooms and there was hot water 24 hours a day.
No children's play area but a lot of space for them to let off steam
I will agree there is some road noise especially if your pitch is close to the road but otherwise this a s perfect site, and we will definitely go back

What a find! We chose this site for a quick one-night getaway not too far from home, and were delighted we did. From the moment we arrived – actually from the moment we made the phone booking – the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. The chap at reception was welcoming and helpful and directed us to our pitch – on firm, well mown grass with EHU. We were surprised that the site wasn't full, but even if it had been there would have been plenty of room between pitches.
The site is divided into fields; a couple for tents only, one for caravans and motorhomes and one that's shared with a few camping pods. This mix makes for a pleasant site that's quite open yet divided by established hedging. The little shop is quite well stocked and sells cold drinks and ice creams along with other essentials. You can order pastries to be freshly baked for you next morning, which we did, and which were good. The facilities are a bit dated, but clean and adequate - no queuing when we were there, although as I say, the site wasn't full. It's true there's some road noise, but only motorbikes and boy racers were really noticeable, and there weren't many of either.
We followed the directions and took a walk across the fields to the lovely village of Farnborough and the equally lovely Farnborough Inn – good food (not cheap, but good value) and attractive garden. There are National Trust properties to visit within a short drive - in fact Farnborough Hall is walking distance. All in all, a great site and one which we'll definitely return to.

Beautiful family run site.
Very well maintained grass and pitches.
Lovely reception and shop area that you can order fresh baked bread from.
Calor gas sold on site.
Large showers will lots of hot water. Well kept and clean. Only downside was, when we visited for the weekend it was only 2 degrees outside and the shower/toilet block isn't heated. The hand driers blow cold air too. Not good showering my 9 and 5 year old daughters they were freezing once they were out of the shower before drying and dressing.
Bus stop straight outside the campsite was great to get into Banbury for the day.
The local pub in Mollington village no longer does food but there are 2 other pubs in Farnborough and Cropredy that do food. Both pubs about 30 mins walk from the site.
Good site, worth a visit in warmer weather when the cold toilet blocks wouldn't matter!

A lovely site, but some pitches, including ours, had a slight slope - some seemingly more than others. The toilet/shower block was a decent size & generally clean, but at weekends when it was busy, some people had to queue. I didn't have any problems though, as I was up early anyway.
The shower cubicles are spacious, but they are more like wet rooms. Depending on how wide you set the spray, most of the floor gets wet & the fold-up seat on the wall too. The secret is not to have the spray on max, so you can have more than 6 inches near the door staying dry.
There were 2 washing up sinks which were under cover, but we found that it was a bit cramped. It could have done with a work surface between the draining boards so that we had somewhere to put the dried plates/cups etc; if both sinks were in use, the only place available was the floor!
There was no play area as such, but the top field could be used if not busy and I was able to play badminton with our daughter not far from our pitch when the site was quiet in the middle of the week.
The site is just off the main road, so we did hear the traffic, but it didn't bother us. We were a little disquieted the first night, however, to hear loud music being played somewhere in the locality - not the nearest pub, so maybe a special event somewhere. It went on until midnight, but thankfully was not repeated any other night.
The reception/shop seems well stocked, though we only made use of the icecream freezer! Fresh bread orders can be made each day too, but we didn't make use of that. There are plenty of tourist leaflets available in the shop & also in the rack in the toilet block; the latter also had a board giving details of emergency numbers & locations if needed - thankfully, this holiday we didn't!
This is certainly a site we would be happy to re-visit.
