What a wonderful week we had, weather was brilliant (only 1 day of rain), campsite was kept very clean at all times and the owners were very helpful and friendly.
We had 4 dogs and they absolutely loved the walks and running in the fields.
Will definitely book again - the peace and quiet was superb (just what you need to unwind). Thank you.

Great location, good pitch and especially liked the 'ground sheet friendly' hard standing. Bit weird on arrival as we had no idea where to go as it isn't obvious, but not a big deal. Facilities are spot on and the owner is ever present buzzing around on his quad! There are new showers etc; in the process of being built so this will bring the standard up even more, but it would benefit from another washing up sink as one isn't enough! Game Cock Pub in Austwick is a half mile walk and worth a visit. Some people's preoccupation with the TV signal did make us smile as it seems a shame to go on holiday and spend hours in front of the TV.
However, a few weekend campers on this occasion were noisy and totally indifferent to others! Don't want to sound like a killjoy, but two evenings of loud music was unacceptable in my opinion and needs monitoring by the owner. It could have spoilt things but thankfully they went home on the Sunday. That aside no problems really.

Very tidy and small site surrounded by a Farm and fields with many Horses.
All facilities were good although I suspect when the camping field next door is busy (massive field) queues could form but a new shower block is almost finished to offset as such.
Owner most helpful and a nice chap.
Very remote so if a motorhome like us and you walk your options are limited, some walks from the lovely Austwick but it's a boring 30 min by road walk there but worth it for the pub meals at the Game Cock.
Great little site though and well worth a visit.

A lovely site set in beautiful surroundings. Very quiet and peaceful. We had a hardstanding pitch, with electric hookup, our own tap, and a tv aerial. The pitches were nicely set out, with lots of space between each one. The toilets and showers were clean and tidy. The shower on the first day was a bit temperamental, but I used a different one after that, which was nice and hot. We had taken our dogs, and there were lots of nice walks nearby. We will definitely return.

Nice enough site. Will be even better when new facilities are finished. However, agree with others here - way (way)too noisy well past the curfew. We heard people having to ask others to keep their kids quiet. Lots of screaming and shouting and running around, pushing midnight.
Not wanting to be a killjoy at all, it is a family friendly site, but a bit of respect for others using the place, and for those with kids who do set bedtimes and quiet down sessions would not go amiss. Felt sorry for the people nearer the noisy groups, it was a bit much. You shouldn't have to wear ear plugs, which is what I resorted to.
Also, it was a bit too full when we were there (though it is high season). Each time I used a loo, I was pestered from outside because there were not enough facilities. This is being addressed though as already stated. Owner was very friendly - not sure if he was aware of the noise issues at the time to be fair.
Have given the site a 10/10 child friendly rating, because they basically rule the place!

We have been coming to yorky dales for years now and wow what a lovely site and lovely prices that don't rip you off, we had 6 nights there and our pitch was on the camping field on a bank holiday weekend and it was a lovely atmosphere, the owner was so helpful and was always there if you required anything.
If you know the dales you will appreciate where it is. There is a new toilet and shower block being built at the moment but as it was bank holiday weekend he hired in extra toilet blocks to cope and it was fine. He is also putting extra electric points on the camping field, poor tv reception though but with the views on the site you don't need a TV just look at them.
Lovely circular dog walk and lanes next to the site.
Would I come back to this site most definitely. Its a little gem.
We did not pay until the final day, not many sites allow that do they.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely site. Upon arrival we were met by the owner who was helpful and friendly and let us have our pick of the free pitches. We had booked a hard standing pitch which was spacious with plenty of room between the plots. The toilets and showers were spotless and regularly cleaned and stocked. There was nothing to fault. Whilst there is no shop on site there are plenty in Settle. The peace and quiet was wonderful.

We decided to try this site as our first test run of the microcamper and where not disappointing. After looking over many sites to visit on here we came across this one and it looked like the perfect fit for what we wanted. Right from the start the chap who owns the farm and site was friendly and accommodating on the telephone, and when we arrived he came over to check we where OK and to see which pitch we wanted. The site itself was set in a lovely landscape, with views of the surrounding hills. It was quiet and clean, no noise after 10:30 and in the morning we woke to the bird song. The shower and toilet blocks are clean and modern, perfect for what you would expect from a small site. We will definitely be making a note of this site and returning. Thanks.

Just returned from a 4 night stay and what a fabulous site, surrounded by stunning countryside, it's very peaceful. No shops close by but that suited us. Owner very helpful and friendly.
Facilities are spotless, at the moment there are two toilets and two showers for both male & female but they are in the process of building another toilet & shower block. Showers are 50p but are lovely and hot and you get ages, never once used my full time.
There is a dog walk area across the lane from the site which is between horse paddocks, it was ok. We had fabulous walks from the site down the quiet lanes. We will definitely return to this site.

Stayed here for 3 very wet days. Used the bus from Austwick to visit Skipton and Ribblesdale.
The Game Cock Inn is excellent serving good food and beer at reasonable prices (Note:closed on Mondays).
Only 1 make toilet, and the showers took an age to run hot. Otherwise a great stay, with very helpful and friendly owners.
Will definitely return.
