We stay on this site fairly regularly and have seen it grow in size over the past couple of years to include so much camping space !
Despite the site now being huge there is still a nice feel about it and Gary and Gaynor work hard to make everyone feel welcome.
The facilities blocks are always immaculate, despite the changeable weather. Nice walks in the area, recommend Elaine's Tearooms in Feizor and the Game Cock Inn in Austwick.
I'm sure we'll be back.

Brand new toilet block - always clean. More facilities soon to come including much needed shop (as nothing local within walking distance) and more washing-up sinks.
Could possibly do with another freezer when busy. Main camping field totally flat and well-drained. Countryside views and on-site dog walk to pretty stream with picnic benches (maybe this needs to be publicised more, as would be lovely for young families not just dog walkers!).
Benches also provided around the camping fields for general use! Especially liked the fact that even the non-electric areas had their own carefully laid-out pitches - meaning everyone had their own space and people weren't crammed in on top of each other. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Small town of Settle around 5 miles drive for nearest shops, supermarket, garage, takeaways etc. Ideal location not too far from main road (but far enough away not to be heard) and close to amazing walks, rivers, waterfalls: recommend Ingleton waterfalls trail (well worth the price of £8 adult / £4 child),
The picturesque nearby village of Clapham (nice pub, pleasant walk by lake & gorge) and Stainforth waterfalls. For experienced hikers, the dramatic hills are on the doorstep.
Only negative was that the showers required payment (not sure why needed) but they lasted 10 minutes; and younger children might have preferred even a basic playground - but maybe that might come with their future plans.
Would love to return: well done to the owner, manager and staff!

Stayed at Orcaber Farm Mon-Fri just before the school holidays started so it was nice and quiet with maybe only around 20 tents. I was with a friend and we had our own tents next to each other.
They have two fields. The main one is large and level with good sized EHU pitches all around the outside and (I think) non EHU pitches in the centre where there is also an area with two sets of goal posts for anyone wanting a kick about.
The second field is very slightly sloping and a little smaller, again with EHU all around the outside. Both fields have picnic tables dotted around.
The amenities were superb and very clean. A new block was in the process of being finished off for the start of the school holidays as the site has recently expanded. Apparently there are also plans for an on-site shop but that was not there when we were.
The people running the site were lovely, friendly and helpful and one fantastic thing was that you could hire a fire pit and buy sacks of logs and kindling which were delivered to your door. Very cozy on a cool night.
It's not really a negative but it was a little odd that the male staff just came into the ladies toilet/shower block to clean or fill the toilet roll holders without even knocking. I was in the shower one morning and he was mopping the floor in the adjacent cubicle. I wasn't bothered but some might be.
The site is well located for good walks, some a bit more hair raising than others (Gordale Scar in particular), with spectacular views over the Dales. Walking boots are definitely needed.
You are not far from the pretty villages of Austwick and Camden which we passed through on our walks. We also went to Ingleton to see the falls and that is also very pretty. On the way home, about half an hour from the site, we stopped off to see the Ribblemead viaduct which is an amazing structure with a short walk around it (about 1. 5 miles), although you can just park up and take in the view.
Overall, a fantastic stay. Would definitely return but again at a quieter time as it is now a big site and could be very busy.

Pitch Perfect
We stayed 3 nights, midweek with EHU. Made very welcome on arrival and all appropriate info given about facilities. Caravans & motorhomes are separate from the area reserved for tents. Just about all pitches have EHU available.
Plenty of space between units. Toilet & shower facilities spotless and expanding in number. Areas designated for adults only & those with children.
Friendly atmosphere for all with football playing space in site field centre. Arrival from 12:30pm onwards and departure before mid-day.
Ideal location in "god's own county" for walking, cycling or water activities in closeby Lake District.
Visit Malham, Settle, Hawes, Kettlewell for plenty of choice.
Recommended meals at Game Cock Inn in Austwick (1 mile walkable)

Fabulous well organised site. Layout was good with loads of space. Picnic tables were provided on the pitches which was a thoughtful touch!
Owner and Management Staff could not have been more helpful, and were open and friendly.
Great area for walking and lots of places to visit within a relatively short distance.
Would not hesitate to return in the future.

Great site, well run and Gary was very flexible when we wanted to be pitched close to our travelling friends.
Facilities were very clean and warm, very welcoming. 50p for a shower did not seem to be needed could have added to the price but Gary always had plenty of coins.
Great walks and a great pub in the village with amazing food - I would thoroughly recommend

Our first time here, we were very impressed with the site,
Neil (the owner)and Gary (the manager) were so helpful, couldn't do enough for you,
The toilets and shower block where immaculate,
The price per night is well worth it,
We have been tenting for a lot of years and this little gem is a great find,
We are definitely returning again and again,

Found this site very easy to access and greeted very efficiently. The site is very well organised, clean, and well established.
Surprised to see so many seasonal pitches which looked almost permanent. Large camping fields. It looks like they are desperately trying to install new facilities in the form of new toilet/washing facilities which are nearly completed.
Disappointed that there are no children’s park etc but plans are in place for the future.
Overall we were very happy to have visited this site. The area is wonderful, the owners are very attentive and have good plans for the future development of the site.
Will certainly visit the site again in the future.
