Fabulous clean and well run site.
Well situated for walks into Austwick and Clapham.
The pitches are well spaced out with some fully serviced pitches available.

This site is a real find! Fully serviced pitch, water, waste, TV ariel, picnic table, and super size pitch.
The toilet/shower block is new, very clean, warm, hairdryers etc.
Short walk to Austrick where the Game Cock provides great food and a bakery with homemade bread and cakes.
There is a lovely walk to Clapham and its close to White Scar Caves.
We'll definitely be going back later in the year,

We loved it here.
All pitches were fully serviced, lots of space-picnic bench too so would be great in summer!
Dog walk beside river was fab-our pup loved it!
On the site of a farm so right beside some sheep! Sooo cute!
Facilities looked new, although we didn’t use them.

This is a fantastic site. When we arrived there was a bit of confusion about our booking but this wasn't a problem and was soon sorted. Reception was closed so we were advised to call in and pay the balance outstanding the next day.
Pitches are large width ways and enormous lengthways. Pitches round the edge of the large camping field all have electric hook up, are well drained and maintained. Pitches in the middle of the field don't have EHU. The pitches all have picnic tables. Firepits are available each evening free of charge, you just pay for firewood.
There is plenty of space for children to play and football goals in the middle of the field.
The showers are amazing, yes, it costs 50p but they are the best showers I have ever come across on a campsite and far better than mine at home. 10 minutes is plenty of time to get washed, wash your hair and have time just to stand under the water relaxing. The only thing negative I would say is that it could get quite a queue if it was busy I would imagine.
The site has a dog walk across the lane round a horse trotting track. There is a stream along the far side where the dogs can have a bit of a swim and picnic benches.
Views from site are lovely and it is really quiet with no road noise.
Will definitely return in future. So much to do in the area, walking and sightseeing. Great site.

Lovely campsite, good price, very clean with hot showers [you need 50p].
Fantastic views for good walking,
Good size pitches,
It had a very friendly atmosphere.
Will go again, oh and fires allowed off grass.

It pains me to say this. But this site and it's hosts are amazing.
It pains me because I don't want to have to struggle to re book in the future when everyone else finds out how great it is.
Clean, great facilities. Even soap and hand cream in the toilets. 50p showers, but hot and plenty of time to shower, free hairdryer. Hosts that went above and beyond.
Beautiful surroundings.
Peaceful despite the recent growth of the site.
Super serviced pitch spacious and made me want to stay and not come home.
It's not a 5*. It's a 10*

WOW. I cannot say how fantastic this site is. I have been caravanning for over 15 years and these guys have smashed it.
Well done and I cannot wait to come back and see what you have done next. Amazing staff, amazing pitches, amazing views.
From the freezer on site to the fire pits that they offer.

We liked the warm, friendly reception. The site is well laid out, very clean and generally quiet.
The new toilet/shower block is one of, if not THE best we've experienced across Europe.
There's a restaurant maybe 1 mile walk away, The Game Cock Inn, that serves the most delicious food, served up by the French chef owner.
There are wonderful views from the campsite & a variety of walks. You can catch a bus from the Game Cock, to Settle, Lancaster, etc. The famous, stunning Ribblehead Viaduct is an easy drive away

This caravan site is absolutely fabulous.
Lots of space between the caravans. Very peaceful and great views.
The staff are very helpful, Gary the site manager was very on hand when we had some very noisy neighbours, rang him and he sorted the issue out for us.
Gary comes round between 5-7pm to offer fire pits and wood fir £6. 00.
Our stay here has been a pleasure and would definitely one back again.
Well done to everyone for making this a wonderful site to visit.

Our last day here and found the site very impressive and best toilet/shower facilities we've ever stayed at.
Staff very pleasant and supply the right equipment to have your own fire.
Only thing if we come back is to be located down the other far end wall if possible but no negative feedback on this trip.
