This Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated five van site is exactly as described. New earlier this year and the owner has certainly done his homework. Five hard standing well spaced pitches with neatly cut grass between and all having their own electric hook up. Grass tent pitches also with electric hook ups available. There is only one fresh water tap but more than adequate as the site is small. A metal container houses separate gents and ladies heated toilets with hot water and I am assured a similar container will soon house a shower block. Don't let the plain looking outside put you off as they are cleaned daily and ideal for campers. The area is quiet yet only half a mile from the A65 and a mile from the village of Austwick where there is a very good pub serving excellent food all day. TV reception on the site was very good with a normal directional status aerial.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Orcaber Farm. It is a new C&CC Certified Site with 5 very well spaced, hardstanding pitches (all with EHU) for caravans or motorhomes, also a level grassed area for tents with some EHU.
The site is on a working farm in a very picturesque location with fantastic views all around, yet only half a mile off the A65, making it very easy to find. The last half mile to the site is along a narrowish country lane, but there are passing places, so no problem even when towing a fairly large caravan (as we were)
We received a very warm welcome from the owners and the site is immaculate! There is a portacabin on site with 2 toilets (1 each for Ladies & Gents) which are spotlessly clean and across the lane at the farm there is a “bungalow” containing a private bathroom (bath, shower, loo & basin) also a kitchen with fridge, kettle, microwave, oven etc. Again all spotlessly clean. The owner told us that he has plans to install showers on the CS, which he hopes to complete before next summer.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on site and there is a “trotting track” on the farm where the owners said we could walk our dog which was perfect for morning and evening walks.
The site is in a perfect location for anyone walking the 3 peaks and very handy for many other attractions such as White Scar and Ingleborough Caves.
Austwick village is within easy walking distance (or a very short drive) from the site, where there is a small shop and village pub which serves good food. The small town of Settle is about 10-15 minutes away, where there are numerous small shops, cafes, pubs, fish & chip shops and a Booths supermarket. In the other direction, Ingleton village has lots of small shops (don’t miss Pearson’s butchers! Fabulous meats and the most fantastic pork pies!)
We have been regular visitors to this area for many years and we love small, quiet, friendly and well kept sites. Orcaber Farm is easily the best we have stayed on. Highly Recommended!

Found this site and spent one night with a quick pitch tent. What a fantastic location near to Settle, Ingleton etc. The site itself was the tidiest we have camped on in years. Full credit to the owners who have put some real effort into making the site perfect for a peaceful camping break. Toilets were modern and clean portacabin style and we even had use of the farm annex to wash our pots and also have a shower. For £2 extra there was even electric hookups. Great view of the Forest of Bowland at sinset. The owners are very helpful and friendly. How a campsite should really be! Can't wait to go back (very soon).

We stayed for a weekend break at Orcaber farm and we were all extremely pleased. We were made to feel so welcome. The toilets were impeccable, cleaned every morning. The shower was clean and a microwave, fridge, sink and even a hair drier was provided. The owner came to see us on more than one occasion to check we were enjoying our stay. The site is away from the main road so had very little traffic noise and also made it safer for children. I would recommend this site to everyone. FANTASTIC. We will be visiting again.

Just had August bank holiday weekend at this campsite, would rate as 5 star with the owners caring that we had a good time. Has small cottage that you have the use of, the kitchen and bathroom, with free tea and coffee, microwave, fridge even a hairdryer. The shower was amazing better than some hotels I have I been in. Other toilets on the site initial looked a bit of a steel porta cabin, they were however immaculate inside. Would book again thanks.
(White Mini and Jag).

Had a brilliant weekend at Orcaber Farm, easy access to settle, the Lake District, Bentham and Malham. The site is very nice, clean and level and is run by lovely people! It is easy to find too! The facilities are clean with access to showers too. We would highly recommend this site to anyone looking to have a nice peaceful weekend away with lots of places to go walking and cycling.
Thanks for a lovely weekend! We will be coming again!
