What a fantastic caravan park! We returned here for the second time, having enjoyed ourselves immensely the first time. We stayed in the adults only area, which was quiet and tranquil. The toilets, shop and park facilities are exemplary. We really would recommend this park to everyone - our favourite!
We have tried the sister parks, Oxon Hall in Shrewsbury, and Riverside in Betwys-y-coed, and would recommend them both. You know you're getting a good standard of facilities, and a relaxing break in beautiful countryside.

We stayed here for 3 nights beginning of Nov, and the site is lovely, and if you like ducks they descend on you when you arrive and come waddling over whenever you walk over to toilet block in case you have a morsel or 2 for them, I loved it. Also the resident peacock is there, as well looking for some food if you have it. The wardens were smashing, very helpful and although when we arrived Thurs evening, it was pitch black as unfortunately the sub station down the road blew up that afternoon but they were there ready for you with torches and got us onto our pitch no bother, and we settled up the next day, they said the electric would probably not be on til early hours, so we got onto the pitch with torches - that was funny, got the bits and bobs done, left the awning til the morning, had some sandwiches, and went to bed, to wake up to all facilities restored. The site is well kept and we give it a 9/10. The only thing that dropped it from a 10 is that the decoration in the facilities could do with an upgrade ie the tiling, etc, but apart from that the showers and toilets were fab in themselves and kept very clean. This would be even better in the warmer weather. If you stay here you must have lunch or meal at the Punch Bowl down the road a bit, we had lunch carvery, and its £6.95 and it cost us £18.60 for 2 carverys, a pint of bitter and coffee for me that came in a pot, and I had nearly 3 cups out of it, well good value for money and the food was 10/10.You get given your meat and asked if that is enough, so you could have had more if you wanted it, and then you help yourself to about 7 or 8 lots of veg, and you can have it all if you like it all, then gravy, and apple sauce for pork, cranberry for the turkey and horseradish for the beef. I waddled out of there, and enjoyed every morsel. We were on the adult area, which is very quiet. It is well lit at night, you can see where you are going, but its soft low lights, so you are not dazzled. Dog walk is more than ample for the morning walk and last night time walk, and for the older dog, with plenty of bins. We are going back in 2010 in the summer.

We visited for a few days in August and were expecting it to be much more crowded than it was.
Pitch was pre allocated, which we generally don’t like, but it was a nice quiet pitch on grass as we had requested.
Only one car allowed on pitch which was a drawback for us, but the car park was quite large so no problem parking second car there.
Barrier coded in and out. Key to toilets as on most CC sites.
OH arrived early – forgot it was 1pm not 12 – but they still let him in which was nice.
Lots of rules given out on arrival with a picture of how to put car/caravan/awning but once people were on it seemed fairly relaxed (we were on the adults only part so I don’t know about the family end).
Toilets and showers were ok, showers fairly small and neither were as clean as we have come to expect on CC sites but perfectly OK and didn’t have to queue.
Site well kept, mowed etc but more expensive than CC sites generally. Nice and quiet - apart from the peacock at 4am one morning!
Wardens very friendly, little shop very useful so probably a site we will come back to when we want to visit the area again.

We visited the site during July and it rained everyday for 4 days! It was the first outing for our Icarus 500 tent.Luckily the grass drained very well. We were on plot 18. Due to the one-way system all vehicles entering the site had to come by us but most vehicles obeyed the speed limit. It was a good sized plot and very handy for the toilets, showers, shop etc We did experience quite a bit of road noise during the rush hour. There is no such thing as the perfect plot!

The site is located close to the town of Bridgnorth. It is a very level site with both grass and hard standing pitches. It is quite a scenic site with a duck pond in the centre. The toilet block is cleaned daily and is of a good standard, though for some reason there is a key entry system which means that if you either forget your key or two of your party want to use the toilets simultaneously you can't get in. This is kind of typical of the site in that there seems to be endless rules and regulations to follow and some members of staff seem more intent on enforcing rules than serving customers. The children's play area consists of only a slide and swings. The shop is small but stocks essential items, though the extra charge for the morning paper seemed unnecessary. The water points and disposal were well located and well presented.

This was our first very nervous outing with our new twin axel Conquerer 630. We have not pulled a van for over 12 years, so we wanted a site that was easy to access from the road, no tight turns, narrow lanes etc and had large pitches. This fitted the bill perfectly. Very easy to find off the main Bridgnorth road and well sign posted.
On arrival, I explained our inexperience and they very kindly showed us to a huge grass pitch and helped me during my rather pathetic 20 point reversing manoeuvre! They could not have been more helpful.
As said many times below, this is a picture perfect site in the grounds of Stanmore Hall, with ducks waddling around the nice lake and a peacock strutting its stuff. A well maintained, well lit and well drained site; useful as it rained most of the 5 nights we were there. Some fine trees from the original Hall gardens. All the pitches were generous and the site gives the impression of low occupancy, even when busy. All very easy on the eye.
Reasonable dog walking area with nice views. Pleasant shop. Could not fault it.
Sure the toilet block is a bit of a walk if you are at the far end of the site, but no big deal.
Plenty do do in the area, Ludlow, Much Wenlock Abbey etc. Nowhere within walking distance though.
We did tire somewhat of the duck muck that our dog kept on eating and making herself sick, and we kept treading in. Minor issue really and mainly due to the large pitch they gave us near to the lake. We would return again and will certainly try the other Morris sites.
A very classy site.

Absolutely fantastic site, we keep going back for more! All staff on site more than helpful, facilities are superb, slightly more expensive than other sites but well worth the guaranteed quality. Children’s play area is good, clean and safe. Toilet and shower block is always spotlessly clean. Local amenities also very good. Highly recommend and will be there a few times in 2009!

Just returned from a three night break here. On our arrival the receptionists were very helpful. The reception doubles up as a small shop for your basic needs and newspapers, these were on a 'first come' basis and an extra 5p was charged for the convenience of getting them from the site shop. It also has a selection of caravan accessories. We found our pitch, in the adults only part on a superpitch. This was great, elec, water drainage all at hand on quite a large pitch although I think it may have been a bit of a tight squeeze if you were to put an awning up. As with other reviewers, I can't understand why the one and only toilet and shower block is so far away from most of the pitches. It seemed that everybody had to trek round the lake to use the toilets etc. Lovely setting etc but do you notice the scenery when you're heading for the toilet? The toilets and showers though were exceptionally clean all the time. A £5 refundable deposit was required for a key for these. It did also seem a bit winding to get to our pitch, up this road, round here. The site can't be faulted though for the lovely setting of it. As mentioned before we were on an 'adults only' pitch so couldn't comment on the playground, we did pass it but to be honest we only seen 2 children over the whole weekend.
In close proximity to the site there is nothing, it is either a car or taxi ride into Bridgnorth which was about three and half miles away. It has a Sainsbury's there and a Somerfield supermarket and an abundance of pubs, We have never seen so many pubs in such a small town. We ate in The Shakespeare which was quite close to the Town Hall. It was really good value for money, a massive T bone steak, loads or chips and salad etc, £8.99, well worth it. Bridgnorth also has a street market on Saturday which is good.
All in all, would we go back? probably not, it was far too quiet for our liking and without a car to get out and about the site didn't have much to offer.

Spent 4 nights with my partner in the adult only section on grass pitch at this very lovely touring park. The ducks descend on you in their multitudes when you arrive a which is awkward enough when you are trying to pitch but they all brought their babies this time. They were tiny, gorgeous and cute but you had to be very vigilant to avoid them! On arrival the resident peacock also came for a nose! If you don't like ducks not the site for you. I though it was brilliant!
We arrived on Thu 4th at the beginning of the torrential down pour which swept the country. Managed to get the awning up before it started though. Despite the weather this park is ideally based to tour the area. Bridgnorth itself is worth a visit river walk was good. Can recommend an Indian restaurant for Sunday Buffet in low town. Blue Spice? In the area - Ludlow was very picturesque and we also saw Stokesey Castle,Much Wenlock. Plenty of NT properties and Severn Valley Railway.
Site Plus points - Very helpful pleasant staff. Spacious pitches. Very clean shower block. Security Barriers, little shop/office, the wildlife. Well lilt main paths.
Site minus points - 1/ Distance from loo. I Felt that another small toilet block would be an advantage on the opposite side of the lake. 2/The price! This is a lovely site but is expensive per night compared to CC sites with similar facilities as it is extra for awning even with caravan club membership. The Morris chain are good but do need to drop their prices.

This is a well laid out site with many great facilities.
You can choose between adult area through to service pitches.
Most pitches look out over a small lake that sits in the centre of the site.
There is a well stocked shop that also sells camping and caravan items.
They are a little pricey but is very handy. If like us you happen to forget your awning pegs then there is no problem.
The town centre is not to far away and has some nice pubs serving food.
Iron bridge is also worth a visit with some quirky little shops.
