What an excellent site
First class facilities and very well maintained grounds
Really friendly and helpful staff with a handy well stocked shop and that was convenient for the news papers as there is nothing else too close by
Really lovely pond with some nice ducks and a rather friendly peacock
Shower block etc. Was excellent and 100% clean - couldn't fault a thing
Morris seem to set a good high standard on their sites - well done!

Site:
Only been to this site once, and I must say the staff are very friendly and helpful. The site have an adult only part which is idea if like me you work with kid for a living and you just want a break from them.
It is set in the grounds of Stanmore Hall; a Grade Two listed building of historic interest. It has a combination of hardstands and grass pitches so will accommodate the needs of all. The wildlife can be a bit intrusive at time with the peacocks squawking at ungodly hours along with the duck that come knocking on your caravan door for breakfast, however the site is spotlessly clean and that includes the toilets and shower block and although I wanted a break from kids the site does cater for them and has a small park.
Out and about:
There is a lot to do and see in rural Shropshire including the Ironbridge Gorge Museums, Cadbury's World, Cosford Air Musem, West Midland Safari Park and also Severn Valley Railway. Bridgnorth is also a must.
Negatives:
I have found “as with other Morris site I have visited” there is only one block which includes reception, shop, toilets and showers for the whole site so can be a trek depending on where you are pitched.
Will I go there again? Yes I will and hopefully it will be this year.

As first time campers, we loved this site. Pitch no 2; yes it was by road, but noise did not bother us.
Staff were friendly and had picked this pitch for us as we had a child and there were other children there too.
Really close to the facilities which were clean, well presented and the showers are brilliant. We had an electric hook up, the washing up room had unlimited very hot water.
Every where was so clean. Play area is for younger children. Lake was lovely, Peacock was very tame and my son loved him.
Fish and Chips from the Riverside chip shop in Low Town and a new Aldi just a few minutes down the road. If you want a newspaper from the site shop - folks start queuing at 8am!
The staff were friendly, nothing is too much trouble.

Lovely clean site. Not busy due to weather but we had 2 days here and found it to be an ideal base for surrounding area.
Visited Cadbury land which was brilliant.
Showers and toilets very clean and well kept. Water was hot and enjoyed not having to push a button to continuously get water!
Shop on site was well stocked but thought wifi expensive.
Overall lovely site and would use again if in the area,

Another great visit to this site.
Even after all the rain in the area over the past few weeks, and over our stay, the picth was great.
The site was less busy than past stays, but again I think the weather put people off.
We opted for the adult only section and it was wonderful to have a whole private area to ourselves. Anyone looking for a fab tent pitch ask for pitch 79 or 80. You get the sun from around 10am - sunset and it is a lovely situation.
The staff were very friendly and made us very welcome as tent users, even though this is a Caravan Club site. The staff really seem to know what tent users need and seem to make sure we are happy.
The toilet and shower block were spotless, as usual, as was the washing up room.
As Grand parents hoping to introduce our grand daughter and soon to be grandson into the camping way of life, we were pleased to see that there are facilities for the little people. The disabled bathroom / family shower room has all that we would need.
The shop is well stocked and prices are the norm for site shops, however there is a new Aldi a couple of minutes drive from the site on the main road.
We took advantage of the delivery service from a take away in Bridgnorth on Friday night, menu in the information room, and they deliver to the site.
We also noticed that one of the pubs offer a collection from the site. Bit like a ring and ride. !
The peacock and ducks visiting our pitch for titbits is always a welcome sight and the lake was looking beautiful. The grounds are very well cared for.
This site will always be a favourite of ours for a weekend get away.

A beautiful site, with manicured lawns and mature trees surrounding a large ornamental lake with ducks, moorhens and some very vocal peacocks.
We felt the pitches, although quite large, were rather close together and in straight lines - a bit too formal for our liking.
The dog walks are, as someone else has said, just short tracks on which dogs need to have their leads on. However, go across the (rather noisy) main road, turn right and then first left and you come to a wonderfully wooded area where dogs can safely roam free. Roxy and I loved it!
Friendly staff, clean washrooms, not cheap but probably worth the money. Would definitely use it again.

Visited this site as a late booking due to the national at eastnor castle being cancelled.
This is a lovely site but due to our late booking we had to endure the worst pitch on site number 92. This pitch being under a massive tree and having no grass at all due to the pine needles on the floor.
As the warden sited us I asked for another pitch as it was the worst on site in which he agreed but could not offer an alternative. So we had to make do with what we where given and this tree happened to be where the resident peacock slept what a racket that was although the night it crowed.
But however we carried on an apart from this it is a lovely site and yes I would return but not on pitch 92.

This is a very nice clean site.
The playground is basic with only 4 swings and a slide, but lots of room to play football and a safe site for children to cycle around.
As pointed out by a previous review, requiring keys to the toilet block did appear a little excessive (with the facilities so close to reception) and the £10 deposit for each key also felt a little excessive.
However, the toilet and shower facilities are extremely clean with an abundance of hot water - although they are closed every day for cleaning - when only a disabled toilet is available.
All the staff are very friendly and will helpfully refer you to the abundance of signage and information throughout the site, which will assist you throughout your stay.
Traffic noise was a problem. We stayed on the pitches which are adjacent to the main road, and found we had to raise our voices to be heard above the road noise during evening rush hour. I assume this is only a problem for the pitches which back onto the road (but there are quite a few - and it is may be worse in a tent?). The evenings are peaceful enough, but the traffic noise and rumble of trucks was always competition for the dawn chorus.
A visit to The nearby RAF Cosford Airbase is a must, with something for all ages.
Would definitely return again - but would be careful to book a pitch away from the road.

For us this is the perfect site. High quality fully serviced pitches available. Very quiet and relaxing environment and friendly wildlife to boot!
Can't beat having ducks pecking at the door in a morning wanting feeding!
The toilet block is exceptionally clean and well maintained and the site shop has just enough of the basic food and a lot of caravan equipment that is very reasonably priced. Lovely view of the lake and tranquil surroundings.
There is nothing within walking distance that is true but Bridgnorth has some great shops and eateries and a very nice delicatessen near the market.
We have been three times now and will be back for the June Bank Holiday.
I have not left a value for the child friendliness as we did not take children but there is a small playground on site.

Stanmore hall is a nice site situated around a small lake, lots of ducks, a peacock and a peahen which kept our dog interested!
Toilet block is a fair walk away which in poor weather would be a pain, but clean modern with plenty of cubicles and lots of very hot water.
The pitches are nice and a good size.
There is a small play area, plenty of adults only sections and the staff were very nice.
Opposite the site is an old RAF airfield for a good dog walk, where you can let dogs of leads. There are a number of footpaths nearby.
Nothing is walking distance from his site. Bridgnorth is around 4 miles away. A lovely town with nice shops, supermarkets and restaurants.
