Spent 4 nights with my partner in the adult only section on grass pitch at this very lovely touring park. The ducks descend on you in their multitudes when you arrive a which is awkward enough when you are trying to pitch but they all brought their babies this time. They were tiny, gorgeous and cute but you had to be very vigilant to avoid them! On arrival the resident peacock also came for a nose! If you don't like ducks not the site for you. I though it was brilliant!
We arrived on Thu 4th at the beginning of the torrential down pour which swept the country. Managed to get the awning up before it started though. Despite the weather this park is ideally based to tour the area. Bridgnorth itself is worth a visit river walk was good. Can recommend an Indian restaurant for Sunday Buffet in low town. Blue Spice? In the area - Ludlow was very picturesque and we also saw Stokesey Castle,Much Wenlock. Plenty of NT properties and Severn Valley Railway.
Site Plus points - Very helpful pleasant staff. Spacious pitches. Very clean shower block. Security Barriers, little shop/office, the wildlife. Well lilt main paths.
Site minus points - 1/ Distance from loo. I Felt that another small toilet block would be an advantage on the opposite side of the lake. 2/The price! This is a lovely site but is expensive per night compared to CC sites with similar facilities as it is extra for awning even with caravan club membership. The Morris chain are good but do need to drop their prices.

This is a well laid out site with many great facilities.
You can choose between adult area through to service pitches.
Most pitches look out over a small lake that sits in the centre of the site.
There is a well stocked shop that also sells camping and caravan items.
They are a little pricey but is very handy. If like us you happen to forget your awning pegs then there is no problem.
The town centre is not to far away and has some nice pubs serving food.
Iron bridge is also worth a visit with some quirky little shops.

Top notch quite site located in mature grounds of hall with central lake offering attraction to
Wild life including resident peacocks. Mixture of roomy hardstanding and grass pitches all with
EHU/TV, some super-pitches. Grass pitches are larger. Very clean and large toilet / shower
Block. Good location for touring the area with plenty to do fair weather or foul. Definite
Recommendation for the site if you want tranquil site with space - rate it 4.5/5.

A very pretty site. Toilet block was always clean and fresh. Wardens very friendly. There are ducks wandering around the lake area which are always up for a bit of bread!
Quite rural. Nearest town about 5 miles away. On a busy road but little road noise can be heard from the pitches.
Adult area available if that's your thing! Felt a bit like the child catcher was going to pounce on my son if we went within 100 yards of it!
Small play area for kids. Nice woodland walks surrounding park.
Would definitely consider going back, if prices were dropped a little!

Visited Stanmore Hall Touring Park over the weekend of 5th and 6th July.
Campsite looks great on their website and checking the layout on google maps gives you a good overall view of the site and location.
We had a good weekend, weather was ok Saturday and rained all night until about 9am Sunday morning.
Site was a little on the expensive side, 2 nights, folding camper with two adults, two children and a dog, awning extension £57. Its a Camping Club site and there is little discount if you joined anyway, so we didn't bother.
Think they need to review their prices a little as it makes it a bit dearer than some other sites. For example our next trip at the start of August for two nights with same as above is going to be £44.80. So why the difference of £13 between two caravan club sites? Oh well.
My parents were also there for the weekend staying in their motorhome, they expressed the feeling that the toilet block (1) were out of the way. Most of the picthes being farthest from the toilet and shower blocks. They could do with an additional block located the other side of the lake near to the water facilities at pitches 114 and 54. This would then accommodate people at the furthest points.
Overall friendly people on site with some nice landscapes, plenty of ducks around also.
Campervans stand on hard pitches only which is a shame if you want to be close to relatives with tents or otherwise.
This site is also family friendly and not just 18+ as detailed on www.Ukcampsite.Co.Uk - note there is an adult only section

We went on this site for 2 nights and the kids and we loved it. The owners are very friendly and helpful, it was our first time camping so didn't know what to expect, but when we got there it was perfect. Everything you could need and we will be going back.

Our first and only campsite. We had just purchased our caravan and I called ahead to advise we would arrive as near to the 8pm cut off point as possible. We arrived at 7.40 and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We'd booked the adult only pitch, which was very spacious (the site was not full - not even half full) and we had no one near us for the 3 nights of our stay.
We live in the middle of nowhere, so I did find the road noise, which was near the adult site, intrusive - but we hear nothing at home.
We needed to buy a wastemaster, and again staff were extremely helpful and came up with hints and tips to help us.
Toilet block spotless, first shower I used flicked from hot to cold, but the next day I used a different one and this was perfect.
I can't fault the site at all, but I've never used anywhere else! I hope this doesn't spoil us!

Stayed here over the easter holidays.
Toilets/Showers were immacualte, they do close them between 11 and 12.30 but you can use the disabled loo if you can't hold on! Our pitch wasn't level which was a shame as we had no leveling blocks. We stayed on an all service pitch, yes you will need the hoselock adapter to use the water hook up you can buy one from the shop for £2.20.
£110 (with CL discount) for 4 nights was a bit much but worth it!
Staff were very friendly, and very helpful. This was our first time at a CL site, found it very quiet and relaxing, adored the ducks! This park is set in a very pretty part of the midlands, with bridgenorth just 5 mins away. We will visit again!

Although a cold wind blew both Good Friday and Saturday we walked into Bridgnorth on both days. This took around 35 minutes using both the direct and scenic routes. Having visited and enjoyed Oxon Hall, Shrewsbury, part of the same group, we were not disappointed by the overall standard of the site. Even though the site was packed the (only) toilet block was always kept clean and never seemed to get too busy whilst there were ample water points dotted around.
The only slight problem was that because it was very cold, everyone made lots of cups of tea and had their heating on all the time. This meant that on one or two occasions there was a power cut. These only lasted for a very short time.
Very friendly staff and beautiful peacocks!

The site looks like its had a team of beauticians tending it. The showers were so clean I felt I should shower before I had a shower. Even the ducks looked well groomed!
Lovely pond, and a nice site to stroll around too. We had a problem with quite bad road noise first night (suggest you avoid the small field adjacent to the road) but they moved us next day on request to a spot next to the pond.
Care and time has clearly been taken on the site - it may actually be too well prepared for some but if you're ok paying a bit more than normal, bring your slippers and enjoy the campsite equivalent of kew gardens. Unnatural but admirable non the less.
