Stayed Easter and the site is quiet but three caravans with flashing disco lights and drinking and making lots of noise on the site. They even had a karaoke going till gone 11 one night. Ok as long as you don't have young children to get to sleep. The owners must have heard it as they are opposite the site and the noise was not 30ft from there home but they just let it go on

Lovely campsite. Nice position for beaches. Facilities spotlessly clean. Nice couple who ran it. Went out of their way to fit us in. Relaxed atmosphere. Only downside: the main field was fully booked, but they were kind enough to put us in an overflow field. The drive to this field runs up the side of their current house (I think they're building a new house across the road), and back garden. They have two large dogs, which, when you walked up the drive to the field, ran to the fence and proceeded to bark loudly and very aggressively. Scared my daughter so much, we had to drive her down the drive so she could use toilets. Shame really. Not exactly sure what they can do about it!

Well what can I say about this lovely little campsite?, it was fantastic. Had a great time here and would highly recommend it to everyone. The facilities are clean and well maintained. There was a little work going on when we stayed here but this did nothing to put us off. The walk along the river into Potter Heigham I would say takes a little longer than 10mins but is a good walk (the dog enjoyed it). Not much to do here but relax so that's exactly what we done!.

Went to Willowcroft on the 30th June for the weekend. Very friendly people. Showers were very clean and didn't mind the voluntary 30p to take a shower.
The pitches were spacious and we had plot 12 with electric hook-up, which was shaded as the sun rose behind the trees. We got out 9 person tent and two cars easily on the plot with space to spare.
We walked into Potter Heigham on the Saturday to watch England against Portugal. BEWARE the walk is lovely but it was not 10 minutes. It was closer to 25 minutes. Potter Heigham has shops, pubs, restaurants. Although I would not recommend the pub for food and the drinks are quite expensive. Landlady very nice, but the bar staff are not used to a crowd.
Will go back to Willowcroft.

Geographically this site is first class. It is just minutes from the River, and walk along the bank and you're in Potter Heigham where you can hire an electric boat - about £40 for half a day - 4 hours. You're also about 20 mins from Great Yarmouth where there's lots to do and also the fabulous beaches at California and Hemsby.
Owners live opposite the camp site and are friendly and helpful, guiding us to which pitches were available.
There was plenty of room around our pitch even though it was half term.
The shower block was good - about four cubicles for the men with a box to accept the voluntary 30p. There are also a row of wash basins by the doors to the shower cubicles with push down taps.
Unfortunately we were hit by bad weather - very cold overnight and daytime, and wind, showers, drizzle and cloud throughout - which ruined the experience for us and we left early. Had the weather been fine, it would have been superb.
We would return without hesitation.

Against out better judgement we have decided to let everyone else in on the secret. This campsite is wonderful .Very peaceful. Very quiet. Good shower/toilet blocks. Slightly wet gound when it pours with rain (but we lived with that).Good cheerful family run it. And at £9 per night for pitch + electric hook-up it is pretty good value.
The river is only two minutes walk away if you want to fish.(and we did) or just sit and watch the boats go by on the biggest bench seat we have ever seen (must be some BIGGG people around there) and it is a 10 minute walk into Potter Heigham along the river bank.
Would we go again.OH YES. Do we want you all to go there so we cannot get booked in.Please NO! But we are not selfish.Just don't all book August next year please! lol VERY VERY HIGHLY RECCOMENDED. And we would just like to say to the owners a big 'Thank you' from us and our little dog (who also thought it was wonderful). Gary and Kay

Have stayed here a few times now. Well situated for beaches and broads just a short walk down to the river. Very helpful owners who keep the site clean and tidy. Showers clean and plenty of hot water. Pitches flat and arranged around the edge of the field so lots of room for the children to play. No shop on site but village amenities a short ride away. Def will be back.
