This is a gem of a site located near to the busy boating hub of Potter Heigham in the Norfolk Broads. Its located at the end of a country lane about a mile from the A149 so there's no passing traffic hence very quiet.
2 Mins walk away is the river where small boats can be launched, and its a pleasant walk from there into the village. The site is well laid out and each pitch has plenty of space. Facilities are very clean and well maintained.
The owners are very friendly and helpful and will actually take the time to talk and give advice which is quite unusual.
There are not many shops nearby, there is one near the boatyard that sells most things and cafes, chips shop, burger van etc. Nearest supermarket is in Stalham(Tesco)
Its the kind of site that would suit you if you want peace and quiet of the countryside and its a good base for exploring this area of the broads. Norwich is worth a visit and there is a really good park and ride service.
All in all an excellent site, good value, facilities and an ideal location. I would certainly use it again.

Just got back from willowcroft
Right let start
Easy to find if you use the direction given to you on web site (as my sat nav wanted to take me down a dirt track)
Site well laid out easy to pitch some are service pitches
Toilet block looks like an old shed but don't be fooled in side clean and well kept, only down side, in shower nowhere to put you cloths to keep dry but if that's the only problem who cares.
Staff are the owners and are friendly and helpful but not in your face like some sites eg caravan not pitched straight etc
Due to weather rain and more rain some pitches were water logged so couldn't be used but didn't spoil any thing and @£20 per night great value.
The site is quiet and only a very short walk to the river along which you can walk into potter heighan total about 20 mins, the owners are caravaners themselves and are open to suggestions but to be fare i think they have it well summed up and have put a lot of thought into the requirements of their customers. But please one more hook in the shower lol

This is our second visit to Willowcroft our first visit being June 2010.
Kandy & Jim are as friendly as ever, always around the site checking everything is in order & everyone is happy, they both always have time to stop & talk.
I can see that Jim has been busy since our last visit, the centre part of the site was open plan, but Jim has now planted hedges between pitches, this will give some privacy once they hedges have matured. There have been many more water taps provided & Jim plans to install even more.
All the pitches are very spacious, plenty of room for tent or caravan & still plenty of room for the car, leaving plenty room to sit out for breakfast.
The grass is in good condition & kept nice & short, Jim cuts the grass before you pitch and indeed the whole site is kept to a very high standard.
The facilities block is very deceiving, the outside could do with a bit of refurbishment, but the inside is very different, the ladies have undergone a complete refurbishment to a very high standard, the men’s are not quite as smart, but having said that everything works well, plenty of hot water & the showers have temperature control & on/off lever, so none of those push buttons that constantly need pressing.
The wash up room only had one sink, but with plenty of hot water, but we only had to wait once & seeing this was August, it proved to be adequate.
Willowcroft is well positioned, almost at the end of a no through lane so very little traffic. Just a short walk to the river, were there is plenty of fishing, there is also a tow path along the river, with a short walk into Potter Heigham.
There is a wonderful department store “Latham’s” which sells almost everything, there is also a fish & chip shop & you can hire boats from there.
I have no hesitation giving Willowcroft ten stars, it is excellent value for money, the cost for a pitch, EHU & car is £20, considering this was August in high season.
It is good to see that Jim & Kandy continue to make improvements, when you consider the charges.
I spoke with many other campers & many return to Wollowcroft year after year, I think that speaks for itself, we will be returning.
Kandy & Jim, keep up the good work, may we wish you every success for the future.

My wife and I have just spent two weeks at this wonderful touring park.
The park is ideal for touring all over Norfolk, is lovely and flat with good showers and toilets kept lovely and clean by the owners.
Kandy and Jim who own the site are wonderfully helpful and are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure a good time is had by all.
They regularly walk the site and are quite happy to spend whatever time they need to help you out.
One of the most enjoyable two weeks we have spent on a site in 35 years of caravanning.

One of the nicest and friendliest sites we have stayed on. The owners Jim and Kandy couldn't do enough to make our visit a success, particular as two of our party (including myself) had recently been in an accident and were in wheelchairs and on crutches.
I can't wait to return to explore the area properly. It is a lovely area to take your dogs for walks along The Broads and the beaches.
Probably not suitable for children, no play area or games field, but that suited us fine, nice and peaceful. The owners encourage quiet after about 10pm.

Just returned from our first stay at this lovely site, well laid out with large pitches and plenty of water taps.
The site is minutes from the broads which allows for peaceful walks along the river to Potter heigham one way and Thurne the other.
The facility block is deceiving the external needs to be refurbished but the internals are very up to date and always clean and tidy, the owners ask for a donation of 50p per shower.
The owners themselves are very attentive, you can see them daily generally checking/chatting with the guests while working on the site maintenance.
The site had a great mix of Motorhomes, Caravans and Tents. I would recommend this site to people of all ages with or without children.
We had a lovely time, relaxing, good weather, great surroundings and to top it all, owners that care, What more could you ask for.

What a find! I can not believe how lucky we were to find this site. Jim and Kandy could not be more helpful if they tried.
During our stay one of our dogs was ill, Kandy boiled rice for her, then when I was unable to get a mobile signal to call the vets Kandy did it for me.
The site is quiet and peaceful, very friendly atmosphere. Great walks. Nice pubs not too far away. Plenty of sandy beaches just a short drive away.
Toilet and showers kept clean with piped music.
All in all a fantastic holiday so much so that we have booked for next year.

Lovely site and very helpful owners. Nice and close to the water and a reasonably short walk to the local megastore which seems to have everything! Sadly the restaurant was closed when we went and the pub at Thurne is quite a stretch (but a fabulous walk nevertheless!)
My wife said the ladies block has been refurbed but the gents could do with a spruce-up and the kitchen is tired. Did like Radio 2 piped to the loos! The owner asks for a 50p contribution for showers - the £20 charge per night really should include a shower. Better to limit the shower time than ask for money - just my personal view.
However the site is well laid out with plenty of space and kept in very good order.
Overall a nice overnight stopover.

Just back from 5 nights here. Enjoyed the stay, quiet, clean all very good. Only another 2 vans on site plus about 6 seasonal vans. Everything very clean. Short walk down narrow lanes to the river, and on to Potter Heigham if you want. Dog loved it. Lovely fish and chips. Owners very nice and friendly. Yes I think we will be returning.

Had another lovely stay here, always really relaxing, peaceful and with the addition of friendly people a lovely holiday. An added bonus was the lovely warm weather. Facilities clean and tidy as we would expect to find here. Didn't see much of Jim or Kandy which was a shame as on previous visits they were often around to pass the time of day, which is a nice touch and one that we appreciate. One of our favourite things to do is to sit awhile on the big seat watching the world (and the boats) go by!
