Stayed again this year. This is my favourite campsite ever. Lovely and quiet - on a sheep farm. Very peaceful. Free fridge and freezer facilities. Wonderfully clearn toilets and showers. Owners have now built their own little log-cabin office on the site. They are always available by phone if not in the office.
Lovely campsite. Fully recommended. Appararently there's a Sainsbury's in New Romney now - with a petrol station - but didn;'t find out about this til we got home.

What a nice site. After a few confusing country roads, we made it on Bank Holiday weekend. Owners really friendly, nice and quiet at night and not once did we have to queue for the facilities which were always clean. Near the beach and lovely village pubs, a must for couples and families looking to get away from it all. Will be back

The Site was easy to find and is very quiet apart from the noise of children enjoying themselves. The lanes around Norwood are good for dog walks, as are the signed Public Footpath's across some of the fields. The grass is very well kept and provides good drainage (our week was wet). At weekends, if Mr or Mrs Wimble were not present then their son James was, and during the working week someone was on hand first thing in the morning; at set cleaning times, and at the end of the working day. All in all a good site for young families; to do nothing on a long weekend break, or as a base to explore the area around.

This was our first camping trip and although the weather wasn't the best we had a lovely time. The farm owners where very friendly and helpful from the first phone call until we left. The facilities were spotlessly clean, these included 2 sinks for washing up (with washing-up liquid & dishcloths) 2 fridge freezers and a chest freezer. In the ladies washrooms they had 2 toilets and 3 showers, the water was so powerful it nearly took your skin off ! Just how we like it and lovely and hot too, and all included in the overall price - no tokens or change to worry about. It was reasonably busy when we went and I found I only had to wait for the sink once and that was only 5 mins. The field itself was nice and flat and well maintained with nicely sized pitches and some with EHU. The only downside for us was the fact we thought they had a playground (with swings etc) in the middle and it was just a space for kids to play (much to the disappointment of our 2yr old) and unfortunately quite a few noisy unsupervised kids played right next to us until 9pm in the evening but that's more down to your luck of the draw as regards to neighbours than the campsites fault. All in all a great little site and value for money, our pitch was only £7 a night, that was for the tent and 2 adults (our 2yr old was free) Loads to do nearby too, with Dymchurch being only a 5 min drive away with its lovely fish and chips, mini-funfair & beautiful beach and also Port Lymph Zoo only a 10 min drive away. Loads of other stuff to do too but we ran out of time with only 2 days. Recommended site especially to those who have kids aged 5 and above. Lorraine.

A superb site. A bit difficult to find but definitely worth it. Ample fridges and freezers which are free to use, washing-up liquid and brush in the kitchen, loads of hot water. The owners are really helpful with local information. I would definitely go there again and again.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at this delightful little campsite in the middle of nowhere. The setting is wonderful, surrounded by the sheep in the fields (if you have an aversion to sheep I would avoid this campsite, in fact I would avoid the entire Romney Marsh area). The facilities were always clean and despite there not being a single pitch free there was rarely any queues for showers, etc. At £3.50 per person per night you couldn't go far wrong. The area itself is great for bike rides and there are some beautiful churches and nice little pubs dotted around. The beach at Romney Sands was lovely and we also did a day at Port Lympne Safari park which was excellent. All in all a lovely break at a great little campsite.

Just got back from here and what a great site! Immaculately clean, well laid out and in a perfect location. The owners were splendid, Sue even came to say goodbye! When we arrived there were just three units there, although more arrived at the weekend. Surrounded by sheep in their fields and we spent ages watching the owls (Little owls we think). The location is great for the coast or for Ashford (if you must shop!). The Bell at nearby Ivychurch offers good food at a reasonable price and a great welcome. Good walking around here. We would recommend this site to anyone!

Have just returned from a wonderful weekend at this campsite. The couple who run it couldn't have been more accommodating from the phone call I made to book the pitch right through to our departure. It's a lovely quiet family site and kept immaculately. There was a great play-area in the middle of the site for your children, so you could let even little ones go off and play whilst keeping an eye on them. They were always courteous and polite but didn't tolerate any anti-social behaviour on the site either! I would whole-heartedly recommend this site to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing break.

A lovely quiet site with nice toilet/shower block, clean well stocked washing up room with fridge/freezer and washing machine if needed. Very friendly place (campers and owners) with very nice surroundings. Would recommend to anyone and will hopefully return there soon .

I would recommend this site to anyone. They have new shower/toilet blocks along with indoor washing up facilities, fridge, washing machine and clothes airer, all of which are kept very clean. This is the first time we have been to a proper camping site (we normally camp on holiday parks) so these little extras were new to us. The owners of the site were extremely friendly, right from the time we enquired about vacancies until we left. We have a large 9 berth tent and they asked for the dimensions so they could sort a pitch that was big enough, as their pitches vary in size. This site is on a working sheep farm. My children loved being so close to the sheep and all the little wild rabbits. The only problem we found was finding the site. We drove on Romney Marsh for about 30 mins, down some very small lanes, but once we found our route on and off Romney Marsh we were fine no more narrow lanes. The sign posts for the site are very tiny you could miss them, but please do not let this put you off, it is well worth the visit and we are hoping to return later in the season.
