A well organised site with clearly defined pitches. Pitches are a great size and surround a penned in sheep field. Nice location if a little isolated from shops/ pubs. Thankfully I was driving but if wanting to go by foot, it would be a challenge.
The toilet/ shower facilities are all very adequate and appeared to be clean so no complaints.
I would consider visiting again as the surrounding countryside is lovely. Just a pity there isn't a local pub to stroll to.

This is a wonderfully peaceful site set on the Romney Marsh. An ideal base for cycling along the many routes which have very little traffic.
The facilities were excellent, fresh and clean and well tended. The pitches were very well separated with wooden fences between the hook ups and those without children were put around the outside and those with in the centre. This worked very well as there was a large central area for ball games.
A happy friendly site which we will definitely be visiting again in 2010

Once again we have just spent another week at this site, Facilities are clean and tidy with plenty of recycling bins for tins, plastic, etc. A lovely quiet peaceful site with friendly owners. It,s tucked away down amongst the quiet lanes wich adds to the peacefulness.
Great for cycling and berry picking in the lanes and some fantastic bird watching on a summers evening marsh harriers and barn owls,we definitely will be visiting again.

Great site with friendly owners.
Camping with a tent is great but you do want to find sites with excellent facilities. This is one of them. The toilet block is clean and well maintained, there is excellent washing up facilities.
The tents pitch along with the caravans in pretty spacious marked areas and access onto the site is good.
The site is great if you want to see the listening ears on Romney march or visit the Dungeness lighthouse.

Very small site, shower block very clean, showers lovely and hot and free, block unheated so evening showers can be a bit nippy. Pitches very good size, glad we we're around the hedge as the field that the families with small children were put on started to look a bit busy in the middle.
If you want a site that has a shop and pub within walking / cycling distance don't bother with this because it has neither and the cycle route 2 is not near enough to get to unless you put the bikes on the car and drive to it (that is for normal family cyclists, not your lycra clad enthusiasts).
Probably a good site for a night or two, brilliant as a stop off for the trip to France but we had 4 nights and that was enough.
Very hard to find and even worse in the evening when it's dark, you need the Ivychurch turning off the 2070.

We have just spent a thoroughly pleasant 2 days at this well designed, friendly campsite. Everything has been thought of - well spaced pitches, clean toilets and showers, slot meters to enable you to plug a hair dryer in (or other electrical appliances), a good, indoor washing up area. Pitches are arranged such that there is a central grassy area for children to play. They were able to use their imagination and had a fantastic time running around in safe surroundings.
Dogs are permitted and require to be kept on a lead which is no problem as there is a good exercise area which is provided with a poo bin so is kept clean, although this is no doubt dependent on their owners being well trained!
The campsite owners are extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.
The sheep in the surrounding fields added to the charm, as did the donkey who gave us an early morning call at 7.40 am, which we considered very civilised for a campsite.

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Norwood, and there is absolutely nothing I could complain about.
It is a lovely campsite, very quiet, the facilities are very modern. The shower is so nice I didn't want to get out of it. The pitches are well sized and had a really nice weekend away.
Found it very funny to hear that the local Indian restaurant even delivers to site and sits in the camp site with their lights flashing so you know they are here.
The owners have thought of everything, even down to the bricks for your barbecue to sit on.
We definitely will be returning, within the next 3 months as it was so relaxing.

We stayed at this lovely quiet site in the August hurricane season, and we still managed to enjoy ourselves!
The owners are really friendly and helpful, and seem to genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. The shower and toilet block seems pretty new and very well thought-out, sink area very useful with freezers and labels for food etc. Lots of little touches to make your stay easier.
The site is level and grassy and surrounded by sheep (penned in), it was very quiet and you could count the stars. Small dogwalking area and plenty of room on pitches. You never felt cramped, and no one seemed to make noise early or late.
They were very accommodating to my friend who is disabled, he raved about the site even though his tent blew down and he had to sleep in our awning!
Quite a nice location - we found it straight away by following the camping signs - and a short drive from all attractions. The one thing I would do to improve the site is maps of walks (or at least signs) as I'm sure you could walk across the fields from the site but we weren't sure where and felt the lanes were too risky for dogwalking.
I'd use this site again, it was a very relaxing stay and work and everyday toil was very far from my mind whilst I was there!

This is a fantastic well run site that gives true meaning to family camping, in that the owners really care and work to ensure that your stay is memorable.
The pitches are of a generous size, easily accommodating our 7 berth tent, trailer and car. The washing facilities were always clean, with ample hot water for the showers, and with a closed off washing up area, which also had a fridge and freezer where you could leave your food in. We always found the owners both friendly and helpful.
The surrounding area is flat, good for us as a family to cycle, as all the roads and lanes are almost traffic free. Plenty to see and do locally, with Dymchurch only 5 and Hythe 7 miles away, and with the nearest supermarket only 20 minutes away in New Romney. Worth a visit to see the aeronautical museum at Brenzett, only 10 minutes from site. I would have to say that this was the best week’s camping that we have had in many a year. We will definitely be back at some point next year.

Great site I loved it here!
The toilet blocks were clean. Lots of hot water for showers. Would prefer slightly larger shower cubicles to make it easier to shower children, not much space to shower one little one let alone fit 2 in with an adult, but nothing major.
Washing up area superb even clothes and washing up liquid for people to use. Free fridge/freezers to store food in.
On arrival I was handed a sheet of paper with site rules on and shown to my generously sized pitch.
No play equipment for children but tents around edge of field and children play in the centre.
Sheep in the field next door, and a donkey kept the children interested during our stay.
Our first night was great, the second slightly spoilt by the group behind us and another next to us making lots of noise late at night. They had been reminded of camp rules just before 10, but started again after 10 when owners had gone and no-one there to complain to, kept the children awake half the night.
Would return to site but would ask for a site along the fence rather than in the middle where we were to prevent this.
Not a far drive to the little town of New Romeny where there are a couple of banks, and shops a Sainsburys and of course the Romen Hythe and Dymchurch railway which the children loved. Beaches not far, Dymchurch beach has amusements and sand, little stone is a pebble beach and great stone is sandy all just a few miles from site. Also dungeness with its lighthouse to climb not far away. A great located site far enough out the way to be quiet and not overlooked but close enough to get out and about easily
