Just spent five nights at this great campsite. We have been here several times before and if you are looking for a small peaceful site then this is it. The owners are very friendly, the showers are good and the site is very clean and flat. The lanes leading to it are very narrow but it is worth the effort to get there. No pub in the village
But in Dymchurch nearby are pubs takeaways and a Tesco express. Give it a try and I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Visited Norwood Farm over the bank holiday weekend for the 1st trip in our folding camper this year. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this site, and it has become a firm local favourite for a mini break. The site is exactly what we go for- small, remote and uncommercial- not a clubhouse in sight.
The site offers grass pitches, with or without hook up that overlook the owners sheep farm and the fields stretch as far as the eye can see. The site offers a toilet block that is clean and tidy and offers 3 showers, 3 sinks and 2 toilets in the ladies and I think the same in the men's. There is also the use of a separate family room that offers a small bath and toilet ( key available from reception ). Some of the nice little touches is small children's toilets seats- available for use for small children if needed, and a small dressing table for doing hair or make up. No hair dryer- but you take your own and it's only 20p to plug in for a few mins. Round the side of the toilet block is the dish washing room ( all undercover) complete with the use of a fridge freezer for all those without a fridge. It also has a washing machine ( tokens from reception) and a rotary line for campers to use.
No children's swings, but the main area in the middle is used by families and children for ball games- we find this great as we can keep an eye on the kids from our pitch easily.
Newchurch village- doesn't offer much- no shop etc but does have a pretty church. Ivychurch has a lovely little pub with local ales called the Bell- lovely reasonably priced food and a little beer garden overlooking the church. Both within a 2 mile walk in each direction. Nearest shop is Dymchurch or new Romney about a 10 min drive- however we opted for a 20 min drive to ashford to Lidl. No shops within walking distance- so make sure you have everything you need. Lots of attractions around the area- miniature railway, rare breeds farm and beaches.
One of the things we love the most about this site is the fact the owners don't try and rip you off with the price, £15 per night for a unit, 2 adults and 2 children without EHU over bank holiday- fantastic value!

This site is how all sites should be run, very clean toilets and showers and the owners are helpful and friendly. We have been here several times now and I would give them 10 out of 10 everytime. This site is on a sheep farm surrounded by the beautiful marshes. We will return again and again.

Excellent, small campsite. Pitches are ample and the ground level. The area is quiet & there are signs asking people to remain as quiet as possible after 11pm. There is a field set aside for parking/dog exercising.
The shower block is new and well appointed. Both the showers and toilets are kept very clean. There is also a kitchen with washing up facilities, two fridge/freezers & a washing machine. No tumble dryer, but there is a rotary dryer outside.
The owners are friendly & approachable but not intrusive.
Altogether site I can heartily recommend.

Just returned from a lovely weekend camping trip. It is in the middle of know where surrounded by country side and sheep. The people who run the site are very friendly and welcoming as were the other campers. The toilet and shower facilities were excellent and very clean. The use of the fridges was a nice touch and the washing up area was clean and under cover Nice to see the children all playing together on the field.
The rules were total quiet after 11 pm and every one respected this.
I would definitely return to this campsite for a relaxing break the only thing that would have made it better is if there was more places to visit within walking distance.

Lovely quiet campsite in the countryside. Large pitches, toilets and showers clean. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and return. More suited to adult campers possibly due to the request of children staying on their own pitch until 8am. Thankfully we didn't take ours as they wouldn't have managed that! It made for a lovely break away for us and we got a lie in! Very relaxing. We stayed 1 night and felt like we had been away a week!

Delightful 6 night stay with 2 other 'mature' couples! The site was quite busy at the weekend with families and couples, but the toilets and showers were still spotlessly clean, and we never had to queue at all. It is a very peaceful site and was very quiet by 10. 00. In fact we were worried that we were the noisiest people as we were playing cards!
Owner was very friendly and helpful. Romney Marsh is a great oasis and central for lots of things to see and do, and at £15 per night with electric hook up this was tremendous value. Thank you very much indeed.

This is a little gem of a site, set in a very quiet area with beautifully kept grass and good facilities. The site owner is extremely helpful and the site cost per night (£15 for unit and 2 adults with electricity) very reasonable. We stayed 2 nights and having moved on, wish we had stayed a third! Site is level with great views across open fields of the sheep farm on which it is set. It was a little difficult to find but well worth the journey.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The grass was so green and lush and beautifully kept. The owners were lovely. The toilets and showers were great. The water was just the right temperature, there were 2 little shelves in the shower and 2 hooks so plenty of places to hang your things, and you could also take little stools in there if you needed to sit while showering or dressing. The washing up kitchen was great and there was always hot water. The use of a fridge and freezer for free was a really thoughtful thing. The whole site was so well thought out. The rules were clear and it was so quiet and peaceful. It is a site I would definitely feel safe to stay as a woman alone if I wanted to. The surrounding area is lovely with some beautiful villages close by and some cosy pubs. Easy reach of many things to do and places to go. Will definitely become a regular. Thanks Norwood.

Just returned from a long weekend, this was our 4th visit and this site only gets better, the new showers are some of the best I have seen. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Getting to the site towing a van can be a bit hairaising as the lanes are very narrow once you leave the main road. The beach at Dymchurch is dog friendly past the Martello tower and there is plenty of room for everyone. We will visit again as it is our kind of site, flat. Clean and well run. Keep up the good work and hope to see you soon,
