If it's peace and quiet you want, this is it. Sian and john the owners cannot do enough for you,and are always on hand if any problems arise.
Toilets and showers in pristine condition as is the rest of the site. The wheatsheaf pub has good beer and good food is about 20 minuets walk away as is the general store in the village. All down hill going, but uphill coming back. But after a few pints you dont seem to notice. You are not all that far away from other tourist attractions in wales. Conway, llandudno, etc.

Booked a tent pitch back in April and were due to arrive on Tuesday 1st June. Received an email late afternoon on Monday 31st May to say pitch not available due to electric problems.
What a shocking way to deal with customers. Surely a phone call to break the awful news would have been the least they could do.
Luckily spent Monday evening searching the web and found a site in Anglessey.

I can't really add anything about this site that hasn't already been said, a wonderful site set in lovely country side.
The owners Sian and John keep the site in pristine condition. Especially the toilet / shower block which although only two toilets and two showers (in male toilets I can't comment on Ladies) never seemed to be over busy and I only once had to wait for a shower and even then only for a minute (it was bank holiday weekend after all.
I would recommend the site to anyone and will definitely be returning soon.

As other reviews have said the site owners are very friendly and helpful, the site is located amidst beautiful scenery on a working farm just a few miles from Abergele near Betwys-Yn Rhos.
Toilet block is spotless, Caravan pitches are level and either hard standing and grass or all weather.
Local village, within walking distance has a Pub and a small shop. The ideal base for just relaxing or exploring the North Wales coast.
The site is very quiet at night John and Sian have a walk round of an evening. Did the animals bother me? No. I'm pretty sure farm animals aren't nocturnal anyway.
We met some lovely people during our stay and will be back again for sure.

Went to Plas Farm for the end of may bank holiday. We camped in the bottom field with ehu, next to the pond. The site is still young and like other reviews say the facilities are excellent, I never queued once for the showers, which were well looked after.
Very friendly owners, and there's a woodlands walk for the dogs and children had a good time in there to. The pitches where flat, but you will need hardground pegs. We did have a problem with the electric tripping out but Sian and John did everything to resolve this.
The site is a good base to explore the Conwy area and the Wheatsheaf pub in the village has a great beer garden and friendly staff. We had a great weekend at Plas Farm, weather was good and we hope to go back shortly.

It is a lovely site with stunning scenery and the owners John and Sian are more than helpful.
We arrived on Friday night, 8 adults with 4 tents and were shown to the camping field to the right as you enter the park. There is plenty of space but very little shelter and as is the norm for a Bank Holiday the weather was not good. This field is next to the area for ball games and we were constantly kicking footballs back.
The toilet blocks are spotless and plenty of hot water, however unless you are up early you have a wait for the showers as there are only 2 and 2 toilets. Plas Farm is a working farm and there are constant animal noises, however we did not find this to be a problem.
There are washing facilities, a payphone, which proved to be handy as there is no reception for T-Mobile at all and also fridge and freezer usage.
We had a pleasant stroll across the fields to the Wheatsheaf where we had an excellent Sunday lunch. All in all an excellent few days in lovely surroundings. We would definitely return to Plas Farm but would prefer a more sheltered pitch.

Had a lovely few days. The site was clean and the owners were very friendly. The toilet block was very clean but only had 2 showers & toilets each so had to queue a bit. Had washing machine, tumble dryer and other facilities on site
The only downside was there was no signal at all for TMobile anywhere in the area (not sure about other networks) but there was a payphone so not a problem.
Had some rain but no flooding on the site and as this is a working farm, be aware that there is noise from animals all night.
All in all, had a great time and would go back.

A great weekend. We had one tent and one caravan - a bit disappointing that we couldn't pitch next to each other but I think this is the norm at most sites.
Day trip to Llandudno which was lovely (and sunny too!). Superb facilities - showers nice and clean. Ate at the Wheatsheaf on the Saturday night - a fantastic meal and good laugh with the locals. Will definitely return.

Just returned from visit to this campsite with hubby & 19 month old twins. We were a bit nervous as this was the first time we had taken the babies camping and also the first time we had used the trailer but all in all it was very lovely.
The hard standing pitches were very well spaced out and level and the area felt very safe. The toilets were very clean and new looking. We were told to use the disabled one as it was like a wet room so we could all get in there..
Sian was lovely and offered lots of help and advice and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The site was clean and quiet. There was a really lovely woodland walk down where I could take the double pram and the dog but nowhere secure to let the dog off which would have been good. Plenty of poo bins about.
All in all a very good site. Not sure how hectic it would be in high season as only noticed one toilet block but I could be wrong.

Just back from the first bank holiday in May, and I'll get the cons out of the way
The electric went off twice in two days, all be it the local area not just the site, the site did not have a children's play area (although we where advised the old one had been removed and the new one ordered but hadn't arrived, and with only 2 showers and toilets in the mens and likewise the womens, with the extension of the site from last year there could be a pretty long wait in peak season.
The pros
The site is well looked after and the toilet / shower block is clean. As in previous reviews the owners where friendly and the local pub (wheatsheaf) serves up a good selection of choice.
We would like to go back but I think will wait and see how it develops over the next 12 months.
