We have literally come back after spending 2 nights at plas farm in our tourer. It is a lovely site, but I feel it wasn't for us. I have 3 children ages from 13 to 3 and my youngest has gdd. The children's park could really do with just a couple of swings, and a little slide for children who have probs with climbing ropes and swinging bridges. But my two eldest loved the children's park, and playing ball in the field. We had a rottweiler in the next pitch, and every time my kids played out he would bark and bark at them. And every dog that went past, which got a bit annoying. I understand people like to take their dogs away with them, but a bit of consideration for people who don't would be nice.
2nd smaller shower block which I used was ok, but not up to 5 star standard I feel, We have been to many 4/5 star sites, mildew on the shower curtain was a put off. And the locks on the doors are extremely stiff and seemed old and tired. The owners are very helpful and friendly.
We had a fab Chinese which was delivered to our van, prices very reasonable. The site also had a very helpful leaflet listing absolutely everything you could do, nearest supermarkets etc it was a lovely idea. It is a quiet site unless you have some random festival going on nearby. Although it was apparently 2 miles away you could still hear the thud of the music into the small hours. Which resulted in very little sleep on our last night. And Three grumpy kids the next morning! On the whole we had a lovely weekend, weather was a scorcher.

Although the site entrance was very narrow once you entered the site it opened up into a great area. The play area for our grandchildren was great also the free range eggs went down well from the shop. The staff were friendly and helpful. The whole site was set out well and there was plenty of room on our pitch overall we had a nice peaceful weekend break and will be booking again in the future. Both granddaughters enjoyed themselves.

Been using plas for a few yrs now, after camping we have now moved onto caravanning. Plas is an excellent place with spot on shower and kitchen facilities. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Some great walks, the landscaping is excellent. You really must visit the forest trail and get the kids to find all the little pixies hidden in the trees. It costs approx £12 for a taxi to abergele if you fancy a night out without using the car, saying that, there are a few country pubs that serve food, the best being the black swan (I think that's the name), unfortunately the wheat sheaf pub has been closed so far this year, you can easily walk there. Overall one of (if not the) best campsite I have ever been to.

Visited here over May Spring Bank Holiday weekend in our new trailer tent. We were placed in the upper camping field which has nice lush grass and electric hookup. This is quite a new site, the facilities are excellent. The toilets and showers were very clean, the grass was well kept and the place was generally tidy and well maintained. The owners obviously take great care of this site. Overall probably the best site we have visited in the UK, and probably better than caravan club sites.

Just enjoyed a lovely bank holiday weekend at this site, the owners were friendly. The site was pristine. We like to walk so it was nice to have the opportunity to access free walk maps from reception. The campers kitchen was a good idea and very useful. The only thing that disappointed me which was in no way the owners fault but that the only pub in the village was shut so there was no local to walk to which was what always makes it for us.

Really liked this site. Clean, tidy and landscaped
Beautifully. Showers and toilets sparkling clean but of the irritating push button type, still, water conservation and all that! The site wasn't very busy at the time of visit and night times were silent. We
Stayed on a premier pitch with own water, electricity, digital tv point and grey waste disposal. This pitch was absolutely huge!An excellent base to explore North Wales. Owners friendly on arrival after which we didn't really see much of them although they seemed to be on hand by the long hours of opening on reception.
One gripe was the £5 charge for internet access which seemed a bit steep. I cannot stress enough the importance of sticking to the directions given by the site and not sat nav, follow the machine at your peril!Overall a very nice site and will be returning in the future.

We are very new to caravanning - only 2nd outing. We had read the reviews which made us book Plas Farm. The site is wonderful and immaculately kept by the owners. Lovely lady at reception who explained everything to us.
Beautiful setting - lovely views and so peaceful. We were sited on the newly opened Premier pitch which provided us with everything eg electric 16v, water, tv point (need to bring an extension aeriel with you) and waste water disposal. Pitches are a very generous size and mostly in tiered cul de sacs so you don't feel hemmed in.
Good mobile phone signal (Vodaphone) if you still wish to keep in touch with the outside world. Extremely handy dog walk on site. Excellent shower block immaculately clean with individual shower cubicles and wash basins, loos, hairdryers etc,
Lovely Welsh countryside - had a lovely meal at the Black Lion at Llanfair TH about 10/15 mins drive. Need to book as very popular. Very handy for Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Snowdonia National Park. We stayed 3 nights but will certainly stay again!

This site is wonderful! The owners are really friendly & helpful, the toilets & showers are really clean & there are plenty of them. The site itself is immaculate, the pitches are of a good size. You need to take a aerial extension lead if you have a tv - hook up points are on the side of the mains hook up points. My mobile ( that is on Orange ) had no reception at all - we were 3 miles from the site before it came on which was great ( peace & quiet! ). We were only booked from Monday to Friday but were so happy there we stayed until the Sunday. If you want a quiet, relaxing break then this is the site for you.

Plas Farm Caravan Camping Site is immaculate! The small toilet block has large shower/toilet cubicles and the large block has large shower/toilet plus sink cubicles for those that don't wish to shower but want to wash in private.
The children's play area is around the middle of the site, close to the campers kitchen/laundry - enabling parents to not have to worry about the kids being too far away. The staff/owners are very friendly and helpful.
It really is a pleasure to stay at this site and we will certainly be back. A trip to the Welsh Mountain Zoo is also recommended - being less than 10 miles away it allows for a full day out for the family.

This was only the second outing of our Montana 6 tent and our family of 2 adults, 3 girls (15, 12 and 9) and our labrador dog! To say my husband was a little apprehensive is an understatement! However, after the first couple of nights he was converted to camping mainly due to the excellent condition of the toilet and shower blocks at Plas Farm. They really were spotless at all times and though we tended to use the smaller block, it was a very short walk to the much larger block on the one occasion both showers were being used. The larger block had plenty of toilets and showers (free) and there was no need to queue. Both blocks had free hairdryers; very useful with 3 girls with long hair!
We pitched in the lower field and the pitch was enormous. We were next to the fence as we had electric hook up (only 5 amps) and had loads of room at the side and in front. We even had the use of a picnic table next to our pitch.
The dog walk was handy and though not very long was in a beautiful setting.
The campers' kitchen was again spotless and had large fridges and freezers, a microwave, toaster, 2 coin operated washing machines and tumble dryers. Also available were tourist information leaflets and guides for local walks. We did not use it, but there was a takeaway which would deliver to the site. The owners took orders each day for essentials which they got from the village shop and were ready from 8am. They sold fresh free range eggs at reception and I am pleased to say we did sample these. We also needed to change our Calor gas bottle which we did at the site.
Our children didn't use the play equipment but there was plenty of room for them to play badminton, frisbee etc.
All in all, our stay was a resounding success, we had a great time and my husband no longer wants to sell the tent!
