Just back from what I can only describe as a wonderful few days. After reading previous reviews I was confident of a lovely site and I wasn't let down. A very warm welcome awaits you on arrival, and the whole family were so pleasant we will definitely be back again for another visit.
The facilities are very good, the shower block was spotless and for a new site I was impressed. Our children (9 and 13) loved it and you felt that they were safe there and could let them free.
Took a trip to greenwood forest which was great fun for kids and adults.
Also you are only a few miles from the beach if you want one.
Would recommend this site to any family wanting a nice quiet break.

My family and I kept our caravan at Plas Farm for the whole of the 2009 Summer Season and have to say that we are already booked and ready for the 2010 Season. The facilities are beyond excellent and very clean and tidy, the toilet block is exceptionally clean even at very busy times.
The owners Sian and John make you feel that nothing is too much trouble should you need any help. There are super laundry facilities and plenty of space for children to play. There is a woodland walk on site to help keep children occupied with lots of wildlife to see and during the different seasons you get to see the trees changing colours.
There is a nearby pub, The Wheatsheaf which is very lovely and well within walking distance and also just a short drive away (approx 2 miles) in Abergele there is another excellent pub called The Bull which has outstanding home cooked food and a tasty children's menu. Our daughter is a fussy eater but they are always very accommodating so she has a lovely meal too.
Getting to the site is very easy just a 10 minute drive once you come off the A55. The A55 leads to many beauty spots including Llandudno,Conwy, Camarthen and a bit further afield you have Beaumaris and Benllech, these are smaller places but very picturesque.
Can't wait for the Season to start! Bring on the Summer.

Excellent yet again. A last minute weekend away with the dogs. Sian and John thank you for a great break the site was just as nice at the end of the season as it was at the beginning. Arriving on-site to receive my pre-ordered locally sourced bacon, sausage and free range eggs made pithcing the tent all the more worthwhile. Life is so steady on this site it is great. Thanks to Sian's hard work the showers and toilets are kept immaculate. The Wheatsheaf serves a great meal and have very good real ales. We will be back to this site again.

This was our third visit to Plas farm. We all like it there, 7 of us went there this weekend, it is very relaxed, not like the big sites that stack and rack the tents so close you can hear each others conversation, have learnt our lesson about staying on top of the hill, windy! Sian and john are very friendly and helpful, didn't know about the walk until I read the reviews. It's a great base for exploring north Wales. We highly recommend this site.

Really a lovely site.
This site is a working farm. The toilets even though small are spotless. Sian is in there 2 or 3 time a day making sure they are clean and well stocked.
All pitches are super pitches with water waste and tv point, so no carting the water and waste around.
The site has a small woods with a nice path through it, Great for walking the dog. Plenty of waste bins for the dog mess.
It was a shame that this time the weather was really bad with lots of wind and rain.
There are a few take always places for food which are very close but some even deliver to your pitch which is great on those wet days.
You are in the heart of north wales and this is great base for you to go exploring the wonderful North wales coast.

On arrival to this lovely site we were welcomed by Sian and shown where everything was. What a delight we found the toilet and showers were spotless,A great play area for the children and lovely woodland walk where you can spend time with the children trying to find the Gnomes and fairies hidden in the trees, which used to take quite a lot longer to do until some mindless individuals decided it would be good to smash them off the trees.
There is lovely countryside surrounding the site which is nice for a relaxing walk and if you are lucky you can even end up at the pub in the village, ( for a cheeky 1 or 2 )
There are endless things to do in the area with miles of beach, mountains, zoo's,National Trust parks, and Castles to visit all within a 40mile radius of the site.

This was our first ever camping trip with our three children aged 7, 6 and 2 years. This site is fantastic and very family orientated. On arrival we met John and were told to go to the top of the hill and pitch wherever we liked. We pitched at the bottom of the field to provide some shelter it can get very windy here. The facilities are fantastic and as a camping virgin I am so glad I chose this campsites based on its previous reviews. The toilets were always spotless and the temperature in there was lovely and warm. The little touches of handsoap, step stools for toddlers and the folding stools in the shower cubicle for clothes etc are very welcomed. The site is beautifully maintained and the woodland walk where you have to look for elves hiding in the trees was loved by the children. The addition of having essentials, newspaper and meat for your bbq delivered from the farm shop is a brilliant idea although we did not use this facility. The children's play area is very good we stayed for 2 nights and my children pleaded with me to let them stay longer they played with lots of other children and everyone was very friendly. Excellent cant wait to visit again its a great site with fantastic views cannot fault this lovely little hidden gem!

We have returned from a long weekend and I cannot tell you how impressed I was with the campsite. We took my sister and family with us who have never camped before and they loved it. The toilets and showers were always clean, toilet roll fully stocked up. Showers lovely and warm.
The kids had so much fun on the woodland walk and hiding from the troll who lives under the bridge. Also they enjoyed the playground, though he older two found it a little small.
The owners were always happy to help and made you feel welcome. We will be back.

Arrived and was totally amazed at such a lovely clean site. It was windy when we erected our tent but once up we were snug. Sian helped us get there. We got lost! but once there we were sorted and spent a pleasant weekend there. Tiny criticism is number loos/showers for such a well loved and used site, though they were always spotless.
We are definitely going again. Oh and after couple walk through woods I think we found all the gnomes!

For my first time camping with my kids this site was fantastic.
Absolutely fantastic site as soon as we got there the owner was very helpful.
The site was very clean including the shower and toilet blocks.
The site is very safe for the kids I didn't see my two for nearly an hour they were playing in the kids area with their friends.
Excellent value for money and will definitely be going back very soon.
