We came with our boxer dog for a few days last August. We were lucky with the weather and got some great walks in.
The facilities were great for tent campers.Clean toilets, hot water. Washing and microwave facilities, and a fridge freezer undercover!
I appreciate being able to bring dogs along, and was glad to see all dog owners clearing up, and plenty of 'dog bins' to make it easy. A lovely, clean site!
We look forward to another visit in the spring or summer!

We have just arrived home today, after spending a lovely week at the plas farm caravan park. Sian & john welcomed all of our family, as we had 5 vans betweens us. There is a great little play area for the children which is close enough to let the children play safely. Even our Rottie enjoyed her stay in the kennels during those days when we went out, which were extremely reasonable and comfortable for her.
The local pub (The Wheatcheaf) served up some fantastic food a must if you are in the area.
It would have been nice to have more showers, but as this is a new site I think more are on the agenda. Some stunning views from the caravan park, and Colwyn bay and other areas are easily accessible via the A55.

We came for the weekend with 2 children, This site is a little gem, if you want the hussle and bussle of a big site don't come here. It's perfect to just come and relax. We received a warm welcome from John and Sian. The shower / toilets block was spotless fully serviced pitches were great. The kids loved the play area!
We will definitely be visiting this site again!

The weather wasn't that great during our visit but this site made up for it. Overall a great site, nice and peaceful with rolling countryside but only a short drive to civilisation amenities were clean and the owners were very helpful. I would highly recommended a trip to this site.

This was our first camping trip as a family, two adults and four kids. We wanted to get away from the crowd and make this camping trip our own little adventure.
We chose Plas Farm after reading the previous reviews. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and our pitch was in a perfect position to keep an eye on our kids in the play area.
The surrounding area is beautiful, the site amenities were excellent, far better than we expected, and everybody respected the no noise after 10 rule.
Our children were fascinated by the farm animals and enjoyed the woodland walk. John and Sian are out twice a day making sure the site grounds, toilets and showers are kept clean and tidy.
The small town of Betws-Yn-Rhos (25min uphill walk) is very pretty and has a well stocked shop. Also the wheatsheaf inn is a good pub serving good food and drink.
We enjoyed ourselves at Plas Farm so much so we have already book our next visit in August.
If your not interested in packed on-site swimming pools, noisy late night bars and passing traffic and you just want a relaxing, quiet, clean and well equipped, base for a family camping adventure. Plas Farm is perfect.

What an excellent place for my first camp. We were very lucky with the weather and had glorious sunshine every day we were there.
The site itself is very good the toilet blocks and washing up area are kept very clean. Use of the fridge and freezer was a godsend as we would have not been able to keep food in the 32 degrees heat.
We had a BBQ each evening and can recommend the kebabs and sausages from the local farm shop which you order and are delivered to site.
The views were fabulous sitting outside the tent in the evening watching the farmers 'making hay while the sun shined' what a way to spend a few days.
The local pub is a 10 minute walk if you are a walker although we did not eat there the food looked lovely and everyone passed their compliments to the chef.
Sian and John thank you for a fabulous few days on your site. We will come back by which time you will probably have completed the lake and opened up the additional fields to tents as you are planning.

What a fantastic campsite in every way! Easter was our third trip to Plas farm and again we've enjoyed every minute of it.
This time we visited Rhos-on-Sea and with the good weather we spent hours on the beach there. We also popped up to the beachfront at Abergele. The beach there is pebbled and there are a small number of amusements and cafes which was nice and took me back to my childhood without being tacky or overwhelming. Free parking too!
The great thing is, when you return to the campsite, it isn't just a place to stay! If you choose you can really relax and unwind or alternatively join in with the kids with plenty of room to do so. Although at 44 I might be getting a bit old for body surfing down the grass bank behind our van! Ouch!
The delivery service is an excellent addition and can you spot all the gnomes scattered around the lovely little woodland walk.
Plas farm ticks every box for us and is a credit to the owners John and Sian.

Recently stayed a few nights on Plas Farm and enjoyed our stay. The site is situated in rolling countryside about five miles inland from Abergele so you get the feel of being away from it all. The site itself is very well kept and clean, with the owners never far away if you need them. There are two toilets, two showers and two wash basins in the block for each sex and are cleaned regularly throughout the day, being closed for an hour during the day for a thorough clean, and a quick check and clean late at night. Hot water is plentiful and behind the block is a covered pot washing area, again with plenty of hot water. In another block on the farm there is a laundry room with washers, dryers, and a fridge freezer. There is also an ordering service where you can order basic provisions for next day ie milk, bread, eggs, newspapers. There are plenty of bins situated about the site which are emptied every evening regardless of how full they are. At the bottom of the site is a small wood where you can walk your dog, and two bins are provided with bags to pick up your dog mess, though obviously we did have our own. The tent field is of good size although it must be said flat pitches are like gold dust, it is flattest at the top of the field near the entrance and that's where most people pitched, about ten tents. The field then rolls down towards the woods being steep in the middle so no good for pitching there, though it's not as severe at the bottom or at the edge. There is also a small children's play area with a slide, a couple of swings and goal posts ideal for small children, in fact when we stayed all of the children seemed to be less than 10, mainly around 5 and 6. There is a no noise policy on site after 10pm. Also the pub in the village (about 15 minute walk) where we had a meal we can recommend, very nice food and friendly people. Overall a very nice site run by friendly people who make the effort to keep it like that.

Well where to start what a place absolutely brilliant! John is a godsend even came out to bring our trailer in from about 20 miles away as we had puncture on way (forgot spare). The place is spotless all due to John and Sian's hard work. The kids had a brilliant time on play park and baby 2yrs loved the animals think she wanted to bring home the lambs. We will definitely be going back brilliant time had by all just 1 fault we had to come home

We have just returned from our second trip to Plas farm and although only stopping for the weekend we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay again!
For us, there are several reasons why Plas farm is well worth visiting!
The owners John and Sian are really friendly and helpful and are full of enthusiasm for their new campsite! They are always happy to help or to simply have a chat!
The majority of the touring pitches are hard standing, are serviced with electric, water, drainage AND have Sky TV connection. Sky is serviced from a communal receiver dish and you can even borrow a connecting cable from John or Sian if you need one. All you need is a TV and Skybox and it’ll keep the wife and kids quiet for hours! Just dont forget your viewing card!
This relaxing site overlooks rolling countryside and gives you the feeling of being in the middle of knowhere yet is only 10 mins drive from Abergele and the A55 linking you to many of the North Wales attractions. There is a good play area and loads of room for the little ones to burn up some energy but at the same time the site feels secure being well away from the road!
The loos and showers are spotless as they are brand new and are cleaned regularly. They are thoughtfully laid out with two showers in each which seems fine as we didn’t have to queue at all. Courtesy soap and footstools for the little ones to stand on when washing up are nice touches aswell!
Finally, the price! We paid £15.50/night (2 adults/ 1 child) in September and even in the Summer we still paid less than £20 a night(including awning that time) which I think is really good value!
Plas farm is a lovely new campsite that is already head and shoulders above some of the more established campsites in North Wales and with the hard work being put in by the owners will only get better. We have booked another stay for next Easter and would recommend this campsite without hesitation!
See you at Easter John and Sian,
Coffee and Cake.
