Just got back after a 5 night stay at this excellent campsite! What a great campsite the best we have been to yet! The owners are friendly & very helpful, local attractions are only a short drive away!
The toilets and showers were clean and the family shower room great especially with 2 small children!
The rain before we had arrived had made the grass very muddy so wellies are a very good idea, & now the tent needs a really good clean,
It's a very clean campsite and the pitch spaces were great we had loads of room,
We were on a slight hill which made things slightly uneven and next to a road but this had little traffic passing through!
The kids loved the park and feeding the cows, we even enjoyed fresh eggs for breakfast avail at reception!
Overall we are very happy we had a great holiday in Wales at a great campsite we will be going back next year!
This campsite is a credit to its owners and I just wish all other campsites were the same!

What a little gem of a site this is!
Have just returned from a wet bank holiday weekend here and must say we were very impressed with time and effort the owners/managers/staff put in to keep it tidy and safe.
Showers and loo's cleaned regular and mop and bucket available to clean up after yourself. Various types of pitch available, we opted for Standard, which was superb with EHU and TV point (remember to bring long enough ariel lead).
Great climbing frame and ball field. Must stress you follow the websites directions and not Sat Nav.
Super site, well looked after.

As a family of 4, we have just arrived back from a brilliant holiday, based at Plas Farm. This was our second outing in our tent, but a 7 night stay this time. And it was a extremely good experience. Plas Farm is one of the nicest and unspoilt campsites you will find, in a lovely area of the countryside.
We found the campsite quite easily, as we printed the directions off their website. (I think this is probably the easiest way - as sat nav is a bit of a no-go in these areas. You'll be going round and round in circles, following the directions all round the country lanes!)
Ceri met us in reception, and was really welcoming, showing us down to the lower camping pitches, as this is where the EHU pitches were. We were situated right next to the bushes and fence, so it felt really sheltered. And as the pitches are not strictly marked out, we had loads of space on both sides of our tent.
The lower field does have a slight gradient - but on our side, at the bottom of the field (where the EHU points were) it wasn't noticble.
There are 2 toilet blocks on site - both of which are beautifully kept. (i met Ceri and Sian a few times at midnight cleaning / mopping / replacing loo paper!) the smaller block has 1 pot wash sink, and ladies (toilet x2, shower x 2) and gents (?) and a disabled toilet + shower. The Larger one has about 4 pot wash sinks, and ladies (toilet x4, shower x3, private sinks, 2 haidryers and a mum & baby shower room - which was great with 2 young kids in tow. All get in together!)+ gents.
These blocks were a very small walk (<1 min) from the top field, and maybe a 2 min walk from our bottom field.
The site is really well presented and well kept. The playground is at the beginning of the site - next to the top camping field. Its not a huge climbing frame - but it certainly accomodated a lot of kids whilst we were there. Maybe a bit boisterous at times - but I think that's kids for you! :)
The site is well lit - and no real need for torches at the midnight hour - apart from getting off the road / path to your tent!
The added advantage was the utilities / laundry room. There were 2 washing machines, 2 dryers, 1 toaster, 2 microwaves, 1 kettle, 1 sink for handwash, 1 chest freezer, 1 fridge and 1 fridgefreezer. So there is ample space for keeping your freezer blocks frozen. The washing machines and dryers are all coin operated - but the washes are quite lenghty, so I wouldn't go with the idea of having a wash day. But it was handy having them to wash a 3 yr olds sleeping bag that had had a accident during the night!
The locality is really pretty, and it is so close to Llandudno, Conwy, and snowdonia. Straight onto the A55 to anywhere.
Tesco is in abergele, so no need to panic if you've forgotten something. BUt the campsite will order you the bare essentials, for the next morning, if you've forgotten anthing.
Nearest beach is just off the bottom road - but cant really be called a beach, as its all stones. Head for Rhos on Sea for a better beach. There are loads of tourist brochures/leaflets in utilities room, and they have also created some folders of walks etc.
We went to both the Wheatsheaf and White Lion pubs. Both were great food, and nice decor. White Lion was excellent 4 kids, as we were presented with crayons and a quiz sheet after we ordered, to keep the kids amused whilst the food was cooked. Wheatsheaf was friendly enough, but quite quiet.
I Cant think of anything that would stop me going there again. It was such a great experience, and would've loved to have stayed longer.
Their challenge now is to try and keep it as small and as family orientated as they are now. Hope they don't sell out to the big boys, and grow too big and commercial. This is all part of their charm.

We have just spent 8 days at this site and I could have stopped longer. It is set in a peaceful location away from all the hustle and bustle! But still close enough to explore Wales.
We stayed ona premier hardstanding pitch, I have never seen a pitch of this size before it was great and quite private. The toilets and showers are spotless and we used the family shower room as I have a 2 year old daughter, so this was perfect!
There is a dedicated dog walking area, a children's play area and space for children to play football.
Although I do feel that perhaps some parents should supervise there children more when they are playing.
We put our two yorkies in the kennels for 3 of our days stay, they got walked and fed and very well looked after. Would highly recommend them.
There is a pub and a shop in the village, but found the pub to be expensive an evening meal was around £11-12. There is a big tescos at Abegele to get most of your provisions from.
The site sell fresh eggs and go to the shop to get your newspaper, bacon and milk providing you fill the form in the day before. Also the staff are always happy to help and provide as much information as possible.
All in all a great peaceful, tranquil site of which we will definitely return to.

From arriving to leaving it was an absolute pleasure to spend time at plas farm. the site amenities were spotlessly clean and all showers included in price, the pitch was perfect with no electrical or water problems and well serviced.
We found john and sian polite, friendly and helpful making our stay one to remember. In comparison to other sites we have visited in north wales this was by far the best.
Various groceries could be ordered for next day delivery although the village shop which is within walking distance had almost everything we needed, also there are two major supermarkets only a short drive away.
We were recommended to to use the wheatsheaf pub in the village, again walking distance, was an amazing meal and welcome.
Always follow directions on plas farm information sheet it is far better than satnav!
we will definitely return to plas farm again in the non too distant future.

We just returned from a break in our tent (1st time camping for me) and it was a lovely experience. This site is wonderful - spotlessly clean and peaceful. The shower and toilet blocks are great - again, spotless with nice, hot showers and facilities such as hairdryers. We got a very friendly welcome and on the day we were due to leave, we asked if we could stay another night. This was no problem. All in all I would recommend this site to anyone - loads of space for kids to run and peaceful.

We stayed at Plas Farm over a weekend. We where very impressed with the facilities and views.
We would hightly recommend the site to anyone and would stay again.
Location
We passed through a small village up a hill by some posh houses to a fork in the road. We beared right down a narrow country lane to the farm entrance 200yards on the left.
The town is very small and only has one pub and a spar size shop with a lot of empty shelves. The shop also acts as the local post office. Only expect to get the bare essentials from the shop with limited choice.
The local pub is very nice and quiet a traditional old pub, however be warned it's expensive about £1. 60 for half a pint. They only had one guest beer on our visit and it sold out very quickley.
The site
A narrow gravel path led down to a farm yard with a small reception located in the first building on the right. The Reception building also houses washing machines, microwave, a kettle and local information leaflets.
Staff
A member of staff, a lovely lady, booked us in and showed us where we could pitch our tent. She rode round on a Quad bike.
Pitches
There were two pitch sites one on the top field and one on a lower field. The top field had the playground area and also some benches to sit on and watch the sunsets. The bottom field was slightly sloped but had ample space. There was a smaller field at the back but that seemed to slope more.
Toilets and facilities
There were two lots of toilet blocks on the site, very clean and looked new, (in fact they were about 4 years old. There were male, female with two showers and three toilets in each. And also a disabled toilet.
The washing area was at the back of the toilet block with a canopy overhead (ideal when it rained).
There were also bricks for you to use for BBQ's.
This has to be the best site so far that we have stayed at and we will come back here again.

This campsite is located in the lovely country side with wonderful views.
We had a camper and we were allowed to pitch up next to the brother-in-law where the tents were, this was the owners idea as we came together.
The site has a good play area for the kids with plenty of room for them to run around.
The showers and toilets were very clean and modern in design. There is a hair dryer in the ladies toilets and it is very good quite powerful.
The lighting at night is very good as we had a trip to the toilet in the early hours with the little one!
The area itself is a good location as there is plenty to do within a 10 mile radius. You can go to prestatyn, towyn, rhyl, abergele etc.
I would highly recommend this site.
We will be going back to this site again without hesitation.

Just visited this site, myself, hubby and 2 children aged 14 and 12. The site is very pretty with lovely views of the surrounding hills and countryside. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We had a choice of where to pitch too and were not squeezed in next to other campers. The facilities are the best we have ever had on a campsite with showers, private sink cubicles, hairdryers and a room for mum and baby with shower. They were immaculately clean every time I went in. The washing up facilities are clean and spacious too.
There is a small playground for younger children to play in and plenty of areas to play ball games etc around the site. There is a nice pub within walking distance (wheatsheaf) and all in all I would recommend this site to anyone young or old and will definitely be returning. K BLACK

Spent last weekend at Plas Farm. What a wonderful site! Greeted on arrival by Kerry and shown to our pitch. Slightly hilly field but nothing to be too concerned about.
It was a bit of a trek late at night to the toilet block. There are two blocks available on the site which are absolutely first class. They are cleaned at least three times a day. No charge for the shower (push button).
Picnic benches available on top of a small hill from where you get a superb panoramic view of the surrounding area. Recommend you take your bottle of wine and glasses up to the top.
Pub/shop are less than a mile away. If you are walking to the pub then be aware that there is no pavement/off road path available.
Only criticism would be of other campers who do not respect the site rules. Wardens dealt with the matter swiftly. Look forward to returning soon before the word gets out!
