July 2004 What a fantastic week we had. Kids loved the swimming pool and Rory and his gang (all together now "We're having fun in the tiger club"). All the staff are very professional. The food in the Oasis bar was very good value for money and the curry and chips from the Jolly Frier is great. Bikes to hire which are great fun over the speed bumps, outdoor (heated) pool is very relaxing.
Pitches are nice with trees to shelter. Lots of wooded areas to explore although there is a small sign on the edge of the site which says Warning-snakes on camp. I asked about this and they say as it's a big site (97 acres!) there may be a chance of an adder somewhere but they have never had any reported. We did quite a lot of exploring and did not find any (I tried!!).
Shower block is cleaned lots and they are free. There is a small freezer for your ice blocks which is free also. I could go on but suffice to say I would without doubt recommend it for a great holiday.

June 2004 Have just returned from this Haven Site, although the Caravans & Tents seemed to be all over the place, the Site was very quiet & relaxing.
The toilet & Shower block was always clean, saw the cleaner there 3/4 times a day.
Kids enjoyed going to the Swimming Pool, and to the entertainment, not forgetting the Rory Tiger Club.
We had a great week there and will be going back.

May 2004 This really is a nice site in great surroundings, lots of things to do for the kids. Clean toilet block, nice swimming pool and good entertainment. The only thing that let the site down for me was the young staff that did not seem to know what they were doing, but I would go back.

April 2004 Went here from Easter Monday til the following Saturday. Touring area was nicely laid out with lots of mature trees and was a very well sheltered spot. Hook ups were a bit haphazard looking, some of the fields the tents/vans seemed to be all over the place. I expected the site to be really noisy as it looked almost full but it was surpisingly quiet even at night. There were 2 laundry rooms and the shower block was big, whatever time of day you went they never seemed more than 25% in use. Cubicles were small though and only 1 hook so the standing area got dirty quickly. But it was all free. Went to the club once and used the shop a few times and were both Ok. It is about 10 minute drive from Great Yarmouth seafront, but on the way is a Tesco and Asda. We were lucky with the weather and there was plenty to do with hiring out gokarts etc and there was mini golf. You could hire bikes. Didn't use the pool. Really enjoyed the stay you can make it as relaxing or as busy as you want. Not forced to join in.

August 2002 The site is very well maintained and the facilities are excellent, with plenty to keep our 4 children occupied. Best to go for the pitches away from the main activity area, as the extra walk is better than the noise (although bearable). Pitches are poorly marked, but improvements are planned. Staff are very pleasant and we had a good holiday.

April 2003 An excellent site, very well laid out with acres of pretty grounds to roam. The shop was suprisingly well priced and although we didn't use it the swimming pool looked good too. We had our 3 young children with us so it was also pleasing that the site didn't get too noisy at night. I would seriously recommend a week in the gym before going if you are planning to hire out the family cycles though... I almost had a heart attack pedalling all 5 of us uphill! Overall a great holiday and we have already booked to go back.

easter 2003 This was our first camping trip and what a wonderful time we had. The pitches are amongst the trees with plenty of space. The showers and toilets were very clean and warm. We are going back in August for a week.

june 2002 A very nice site set among the trees. It felt like proper camping but with all the amenities. We felt it had everthing you needed and more and was good value for money. We will definitely return in the not too distant future.
