Excellent site, we spent a week here fortunately during the heat wave end of June start of July.
The site is really well maintained, lots for children to do, we had 2 x 3 year olds, a 10 year old and 18 month toddler, they all enjoyed the play park, which is very safe and well built.
Toilets clean, showers powerful. Good washing up facilities.
The only gripe is that the pub did not open until 18:00, our youngest is in bed for 18:30ish, so never got chance to use it.
Would definitely go again and recommend the site
The Bush in near GCHQ is worth a visit, really good food. Also there is a little cafe in Bude think it was called Scrummies, excellent fresh fish, linked to the fishmonger well worth a visit

Just returned from wooda. Absolutely fantastic.
Toilets/showers clean,( whatever time we went) well designed, loads of hot water, hooks, mirrors, cloths and plug socket for hair straighteners.Dish washing area of the same quality.Laundrette, freezers, wet suit wash all avaliable and of a high standard.
Although our children were too old to use the play area it was very child friendly, as were the woodland walks and farmyard animals.
We have a very large tent but fitted on the pitch with no problems, the campsite was not full but with the layout of the pitches and surrounding area you never felt hemmed in.
Staff very helpful and the fellow campers were all very nice people. Toilet blocks well lite at night with just a bit of low level lighting around the site.
We used the take away once, the pizzas were very good, had one meal in the bar which again was very good,( monday night is tapas night which looked very great) we had a lot of rain but had no problem with drainage or mud as some people have mentioned.
Port issac well woth a visit as is mevagissey.
Newquay good for the surf atmosphere but didn't like it as place. We used blue dolphin surf school which we would recommend highly.
Could walk to bude but uphill coming back, but a local bus stops right outside the campsite into bude. No pool on site but a very good public swimming baths in bude with flume and wave machine.
When booking your pitch from the site map, just a little note that it is not to scale
overall, had a great time with nothing bad to say about wooda or bude and have already booked for next year.

Bude is the ideal place to holiday for a relaxing break. Plenty of shops, touristy and otherwise. A couple of supermarkets within easy reach of the centre of Bude.
Padstow, Boscastle, Newquay and St Ives all within a short driving distance.
We stayed at Wooda Farm Park, hadn't made a booking - but were given a choice of 3 pitches. 'Most' of the tent pitches are separated by hedges. Pitches are of a good size and most do have electric hook ups.
Shop on site, some items are quite pricey. Bar on site, drinks reasonably priced.
On site there is a children's play ground, pitch and putt, tennis, farm walkways.
There is a farm shop a short walk away from the site and also a Pub approx 10 minutes walk away. You can walk into Bude from the site - but beware it is all uphill on the way back!
Toilets, shower blocks and dish washing facilities are all clean.
All goes quiet around the park after 10.30pm (even the dogs are quiet!)
All in all a good site, would highly recommend and would use again.

Bude is totally relaxing, you really get into the spirit of the place. Locals are very friendly in particular the shops in the town.
Wooda farm is in a lovely peaceful setting, the park itself is very well looked after. The pitches are generous and we didn't feel like we were squashed in (tent peg to tent peg). It was great to have fresh drinking water close by too.
The toilet blocks/facilities were ample, and modern, although I do think the showers could have been cleaned a little more often. I have been to a site where mops are located close by so that after you're shower the floor could be squeegeed, personally I'd prefer that.
It's the first time we had electric hook up (we did want to be fully self sufficient but after one very wet cold experience buckled) and will use again even just to keep the beer / wine cold !
I paid for internet access for the week, and couldn't get more than a few hours, however no quibble about refunding as they were aware that some pitches had problems.
Back to Bude, Crooklets beach was our main location and the facilities are very close/handy. The car park fees are good at £2.50 per day (from the little shop by the surf school) not sure if the prices may rise in peak times. Great to see the RNLI guards were very safety concious and I will certainly be dropping donations in as/when I can.
One draw back we know there's a bar on site but it would have been nice to go to a local pub but they were either that tucked away that we only spotted them when we took a different route home or in Bude town meaning taxi's there and back.
We ventured away from Bude to go to Camelford for fish and chips from the 5* chippy (sorry forgot the name) worth a visit and Newquay (who by the way charge the earth to park. We also visited Padstow which is beautiful.
All in all well worth another visit

Wooda is definitely one of the best sites we've stayed at! I can echo all that's been said previously - the pitches were spacious and well maintained - we had a lot of rain one night which left a very muddy entrance to our tent. The owners provided some 'decking' for us to put down outside which was much appreciated. The toilet blocks were immaculate and regularly cleaned. There were plenty of free showers and you never had to wait, no matter the time of day. The women's showers (can't speak for the mens) were designed so that all your clothes etc stay dry whilst you're showering too - an added bonus!
Our 2 girls aged 11 & 13 were kept amused - it was great that you can get wi-fi access which meant my 11 year old could stay in touch with her friends whilst we were there. Both loved meeting other kids at the play area which is great and caters for all ages. There was never any noise or roudy behaviour from anyone - young or old. The bar and games room were a short walk away from the main camping and the food and drink were reasonably priced. There's a very useful camping and caravanning shop on site, too, if you need any emergency equipment during your stay.
Our pitch was ideal as we were near the toilets, play area and had a sea view - my daughter asked if we'd had to pay more for a sea view, but no, we didn't! All pitches in the main camping area had hook ups and there was also an overflow field which was unserviced.
The shop was well stocked though a little on the expensive side - we chose to drive 10 mins to Morrisons in Bude each morning which is excellent and has fresh croissants. Although the range of wine and beer in the shop was limited, they provided freezers in the launderette where you could chill any that you'd bought - it was all done on trust but people seemed to respect each others stash of cans and bottles!
There are some wonderful beaches within a short distance from Wooda - Widemouth Bay and Crooklets Beach to name but a few. Both have parking and toilets close by and parking for the day is very reasonable. Bude town is charming with lots of great little shops including pasties and fish and chips.
We'd thoroughly recommend Wooda and will be returning next year as both our girls have pleaded with us to go back!

Stayed 7 nights at this site and had a wonderful time. Our pitch was on one of the highest parts of the site (E76) and we had wonderful views of the sea and coastline from our tent. Site is hilly in places but the pitches are level.
Shower and toilets kept clean, as was the whole site, although some showers didn't stay on for long,(there was a notice in the gents advising staff were aware of this). Good play area for the kids and some indoor sports facilities.
Bar and restaurant looked good although we didn't use them. On site take away very good selection and reasonably priced, each order cooked as you waited.
Shop well equipped and supermarket 5 min drive away. Also Caravan / camping shop on site selling gas, etc.
Beautiful area lots of lovely beaches within a few minutes drive. Tintagel, Boscatle and Port Isaac all within 40 min drive.
Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

What can I say, fantastic! It is a large campsite and static caravan park but it is well laid out and you never feel that it is actually as big as it is until you walk round.
The grounds are very well kept, in fact there was a lovely chap going around all hours of the day cutting grass, laying grit where needed, emptying bins and always cheerful and ready to say hello.
We were very lucky with the weather, a week earlier would have been a very wet one, but again the grounds never seemed to get swamped.
The on site shop is very well stocked, the bar/restaurant is a nice walk down the track and there are outdoor heaters for those with dogs as well as a barn to sit in. I enjoyed the food, the specials were very good and The Rattler cider fantastic!
The kids (age 4 and 6) loved the farmyard animals, the adventure playground and it was all set out that you felt happy letting them go off by themselves to the toilets and playground.
I would love to come back here as it was our kind of campsite, our second week was in a 'holiday park' in Woolacombe and no where near as good as this and far too commerical, but we were meeting up with friends there! Def recommend this campsite you would not be disappointed, one thing though, although you can walk down into Bude it is very much a road walk down narrow lanes!

We love this site! It's just perfect for walking straight out onto the coast path to do a walk or driving down to Widemouth for a surf. Even better, you can walk into Bude either by the coast path for nice views or by the road for speed - so loads of places to eat out from seafood to Chinese or curry.
The pitches for tents are not in formal rows so you get plenty of space - we have been here 3 times and its never been too busy. The toilet and shower block and washing up area have always been clean and the reception staff are really helpful and nice.
The pitches for tents line up against a hedge which is useful in rain or wind.

Wonderful site, facilities were superb. Toilets and washing area were very clean. There was plenty for the kids to do - free Tractor rides, Archery (very good price), petting farm animals, Pitch and Putt (excellent value) amongst other activities. The shop was well stocked and the staff were friendly.
The pitch was huge, which was good, because so was our tent!

Didn't like it here. We were put in the top over flow field and it wasn't nice at all, muddy and we were under trees, tent is all sticky from the sap and it wont come clean, had no sun on the tent and got no warmth in the tent so we had a very damp cold tent. Water in the showers wasn't very hot. The children wasn't that impressed as the weather was bad the games rooms were full.
