Great site, brilliantly maintained and very clean. We originally booked pitch E37 which is a grass pitch with electric but had to move to P14 as we did not have any chocks for our caravan and E37 is on a slight slope. P14 is a premier pitch with own drainage, water and electric and your caravan and awning are pitched on gravel but also a grass area to park car.
Lovely views over hills and fields. My only minor complaint was I wish we couldve stayed on the grass pitch as would have been more room for our 2 year old to play as the premier pitches pitch straight onto the tarmac roads that lead to the pitches.

Site has great facilities and a camping shop should you need anything.

Bude is a nice little town but Padstow (about an hours drive away) is lovely, a very quaint seaside town.

Would go to this site again but think there are others just as nice and at a cheaper price

This was our first visit to Wooda and after a very enjoyable stay we would have no hesitation in recommending this site.

We arrived in awful conditions for pitching a tent, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. The reception area is well stocked with places of interest to visit and ensures you gain maximum benefit from your stay.

We had an electric hook up and the site was level and roomy. The neighbours were quiet and not once during our 7 day stay did we have concerns regarding noise levels. The site is very well maintained with recycling facilities.
The shower/toilet blocks were excellent with plenty of hot water. The shop stocks all the little essential items you may need. The pitches were well maintained and checked and cleared upon departure. There is a camping and caravanning company on site who can also support your requirements and the site offers caravan storage facilities.

There is a play area for younger children away from the pitches and plenty of space for kite flying and football. The woodland walk is a pleasure and remember to watch out for cornish pixies!

We ate in the courtyard bar which can get busy at times but the food was lovely, but perhaps a limited menu which would benefit of a revamp, however, there are daily specials available.

The views are stunning and it's only a short drive into Bude and to nearby beaches.

We loved this site. We stayed for just two nights (wish we booked more) and had a great time. We had a fully serviced pitch. There was lots of private space. The tents looked like they had lots of space around them too. There were lots for the kids to do - and it felt really safe for them to just go off. Where we were pitched you could see the playground as it was raised up slightly on a hill. It was a bit of a trek for those less mobile to get to the fishing lakes which we used (but caught no fish!) We never used the restaurant or bar but the take-away was good and fairly priced. The shop is reasonably priced too and had lots of stock, everything from bread and milk, to pocket money toys and sweets - they even stocked beer and wine.

We paid extra for wi-fi access (£5 for 24hrs) and also to use the family bathrooms. There is a laundy £3 per wash and 50p tumble and an iron. Didn't use the main toilet facilities as we used the bathrooms of an evening, but they looked clean and there were plenty of them.

At first sight the bathroom seems like a great idea. However, I have never seen a tap run so slowly in my life! It must have taken half an hour to fill about a quarter of the bath-tub! There were 3 or 4 bathrooms and each had the same problem. I ended up going and sitting in the bathroom with a magazine and phoning back to get the kids over when it was ready! Also, the cleanliness was great to start with, but as people used them and didn't tidy up after themselves they got in a bit of a state. Such a shame (it only takes a minute to mop up and there were cleaning products left in there to swish the bath round with). Great idea though.

Overall we would thoroughly recommend this site. It had a great atmosphere, it was quiet at night, it felt safe for the kids, lots to do for everyone, reasonably priced and a lovely area. There's a Morrisons supermarket up the road and the beach is only about 5 mins drive away.

We intend to book here for next year 2010 after having had one of the very best holidays ever.

The site is excellent both in location and management-

The bar/restaurant serves excellent food and the renowned 'Rattlers ' cider.

Staff were helpful and friendly and we cannot wait to return next year-

I hear that the washblocks will be refurbished. Even better !

There is absolutely nothing negative I can say about Wooda farm it is an exceptional campsite. Set overlooking Bude with a glorious view of the Atlantic the staff obviously work hard to make this the best site we have ever been to. It is not overly commercial but the attention to detail is awesome. Bins are always empty showers are always hot, clean and there are plenty of them. We took our 5 month old daughter and there was a fantastic baby/toddler bathroom. Laundry was easily managed and reasonably priced and there is a freezer for use whilst camping. The bar and takeaway were both excellent and the food of a high standard. We cannot wait to return in September for another week and although the weather was not entirely welcome it did not deter us from enjoying our stay. Highly recommended and at £18 per night with electric hook up it is also value for money. Bude also provides all you need for entertainment and supplies. If you are looking for a great fish and chip supper we had one from the 'Tasty Plaice' that was amazing!

There we were drifting around the north cornwall coast not being cc members and out of pure luck happened across this excellent park.

Well laid out with a mixture of grass/gravel standings, large dog friendly field, excellent clean toilet and shower blocks with good washing up facilities.

Decent shop and takeaway prices fine. Paid 20 quid 1 night for motorhome 2 adults and a dog.

Very friendly and helpful staff, all in all everything you need well run at a decent price

Having stayed on this site before in a tourer and a static we were hoping for a good holiday and that is exactly what we got. The weather wasn't great but the site and the surrounding area more than made up for that.

The touring pitches are really roomy and if you book early enough you have the option to pick which pitch you want.

The staff on site are really helpful and informative and direct you straight to your pitch.

The site appears to be well draining, well it was where we were pitched, which was a god send given the weather and the water didn't seem to gather.

The toilet/shower facilities are great and even though there was plenty of mud (from the frequent downpours) they were kept clean. The nice thing is that the site leave cleaning cloths / mops etc. in there so if need be you can give them a quick clean or clean up once you have finished in them, to leave them as you would like to find them.

The facilities are great. There is a really safe play area for the kids, next to which there is plenty of grassed area for football etc. There is a large pitch and putt course, there is a small charge for clubs and balls, there is a large sports barn containing a badminton court and a gym (small charge applies), a pet enclosure, fishing lake and pixie woods (the kids love spotting the tiny pixies in the trees and bushes!).

The old farm buildings have been converted in to a number of eating places and a bar. The food is good and reasonable priced. There is also a take away near the entrance to the park serving pizzas, salads, jacket potatoes etc all again at reasonable prices.

The god send for me was the laundrette, due to the weather there was a need to use this more than once!

The surrounding area is great plenty to see and do. The beaches are beautiful and the town has a great selection of eateries, shops etc.

Have been to this site 4 times now and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Just returned from this site after an excellent weeks holiday. The reception staff were very helpful and the pitch was easy to find. Fortunately we were on a hardstanding pitch (with water and electric hook up), as the weather was pretty poor, and the grass pitches were gradually turning muddy.
The facilities were very good, especially the block next to the shop, the showers however were cold sometimes if you went at night. The children loved the play area, and the animals, and the walks and surrounding areas of the campsite were lovely.
The shop was fairly well stocked, with a large supermarket 10 minutes drive away. The takeaway was convenient, and well priced. This is a site we would return to, as long as it was a hard standing pitch.

I have been going to the wooda campsite and bude area since I was five years old and even though I am only fourteen now it is the best place in england, I feel you should go on holiday. The facilities at the site are always clean, the tennis courts, park, pitch and putt, tractor rides and badminton keep myself , brother and cousins entertained.
The on site pub - linneys larder, is a lovely place to go and eat or maybe just have a drink, the pixie walk and farm are good too.
I think everyone should try and go to wooda for a holiday maybe even a week or five days even if it doesn't seem like the kind of thing they would usually do, the nearby beach and shops are fantastic.
I have been going for years and will continue to do so for many years to come.
