We stayed here in half term this year. The weather was not kind to us but this is a very good site.
The facilities are excellent and well maintained. We liked the numbered pitches and that they are bookable in advance. We were there in half term and the site was reasonably busy, but we were able to get a good pitch that was nicely sheltered by a hedge. We have a big family tent and did find the marked pitch too narrow, but we were not made to pay for hanging over the edge which was good.
We were really impressed with the food in the restaurant and would highly recommend it. The takeaway place was good as well. The staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
The games room went down well with older children who enjoyed the pool and table tennis tables.
You get what you pay for. This is not a cheap site but it is excellent and everything is of a high standard.

All I can say is an abosolutly first class site, one of the cleanest I have ever visited, we only stayed for 2 nights, but I would of happily stayed for longer. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the shop was very well stocked, and the bar and restaurant was excellent. Would definitely come back and would highly recommend it.

This was the first time at Wooda farm we had a warm welcome from the staff in reception
And the bar staff. The site itself was very large and water was close to hand. The pitch sizes was very good but was a bit of a pain on a 2 way slope (but thats the joys of camping). The shop was well supplied and reasonably priced along with the takeaway. The toilet blocks was clean and tidy but the showers was cold and the button you push for water only ran for 10 seconds a push. I was surprised that there was no entertainment in the bar and that it closed at 10pm along with the takeaway that closed at 8.30pm and the shop at 6.30 pm. There was lighting back from the bar but not to the tent section so it was very dark trying to work out where you was going. Not a lot for the kids to do as the games room only had table tennis and 2 pool tables.

We stayed here for 14 nights and all I can say is that it is excellent. I can't say the same for the weather during the first week.
We had a nightmare journey (got stuck on the motorway all night, due to all the floods) but once we arrived the staff couldn't do enough for us.
We would recommend this park to anyone, it is very good.

The wife and I have just come back having spent two nights at this site.We find it very hard to say anything about this site other than 'WOW' what a site. It's well laid out with good size pitches which are immaculately kept. The toilet/shower blocks are kept in a very clean condition plenty of hot water on demand. The facilities on site were excellent. Although our children have grown up a walk around the grounds showed that there is plenty here to keep the children occupied. The on site accessories shop is well stocked and very reasonably priced the advice and service was also excellent. This was our first visit here and we will be going back. Ideally situated for the North Cornwall beaches with a good selection of supermarkets and garages in Bude. The on site 'takeaway' called the Lodge, provided a selection of hot food at again reasonable rates certainly the hottest fish and chips we have had for a while. All in all we would thoroughly recommend this site.

One of the best sites we have stayed at. When we arrived we had a friendly welcome and as they had had torrential rain for a week beforehand they gave us a choice of 2 fields to stay in. We stayed in the (overflow)top field for 7 nights and the entrance to the field was very boggy so we were told to use another entrance through the farm which wasnt a problem. The views of Bude, Widemouth Bay and the coastline were brilliant from where we pitched and there was plenty of room for our large tent and room for the kids to play also. There were plenty of ehu's available and the facilities very clean and plenty. The staff we always friendly and smiling and nothing seemed to be to much trouble. There is plenty to do on the site with playground, small animals area, pitch and putt, tennis, archery, badminton, fishing, clay pidgeon shooting, fitness suite, woodland walks. There is a pub, linney larder, cafe, tv/games room, a good shop with everything you need and a free tractor ride around the site once a week. The site is very reasonably priced concidering all the facilities available and we will definitely be going back here.

Stayed here for 13 nights, second and third week in September. Toilets and showers very clean, with lashings of hot water. Wife thought that no lights in the shower cubicle was odd. Good sized pitches and sheltered areas. Not having kids playground was not one of our concerns, but it looked adequate, with plenty of room to fly your kite. Well stocked shop, just about everything you could think of. Nice bar area, staff always welcoming. All in all a nice site that we would recommend.

Good size pitches and plenty of clean showers/ toilets. Beautiful views from the high pitches - the downside is it can get very windy. Reasonable priced restaurant and take away on site. No scooters / roller blades allowed - kids happy enough in the big park. Torrential rain for 2 days, site coped well, sand etc for the puddles.Well positioned for Bude. Be at the beach before 11 to park with ease - 5 minute drive. Couple of miles to Morrissons, which also has a cafe for an easy meal. Would return - enough said.

We have just returned home to Dublin, Ireland, from the most wonderful holiday at Wooda Farm Park. We had high expectations after reading through their website and were very much looking forward to our holiday, we were not disappointed. The Pine caravan, though one of the oldest static caravans they have, was very clean and spacious and fulfilled all our requirements as a family of 5. The facilities were superb. Great playground, woodland pixie walks, duck pond and farmyard friends gave our 3 children so much pleasure and enjoyment. We didn't need to use toilet and shower blocks, but the laundry was very useful and fairly priced. The shop is small but had all the essentials, treats and extras needed, The take away is great and well priced and the Courtyard bar and Linney larder offer great food, again at reasonable prices. The whole site is kept immaculate. Wooda is great for travelling to North Devon and other areas of Cornwall and the surrounding beaches (Summerleaze in particular) and Bude town are just fantastic. We are already planning our summer holiday to Wooda for 2008.

Just returned from a weeks stay at Wooda after spending weeks earlier this year trawling the reviews on here to find a site that sounded suitable - and have to say we were not disappointed. Slightly expensive at £29.50 a night for a family of 5 in one tent, no gazebo, pup tent ,dog etc, but as OH always says "you get what you pay for" We had pre-selected our pitch before we went, chose E48 in the main area, but this was facing the sun in a morning, and by the time we came home after our days out the sun had moved right round the back of the tent, so there was total shade all around us and it wasnt ideal for sitting out in. If we were to go again, we would select a pitch facing the opposite way. The pitch itself was very muddy in the middle, but the owners had put some sort of sand down over it, which took away the moisture but did leave the ground with a sort of plasticine feel underfoot! The pitches were very wide and the area we were in all had a hedge running down the back of them to seperate you from the row behind, no side seperation though. The down side of the pitches is that they didnt seem very deep - we had only about a metre or so of space at the front of the tent, before the tarmac road. I do think the roads around the site are not very suitable at all, you can only get one vehicle down at a time. And at the ends where you need to turn the corner, it is very very tight, even for just a car - the people with camper vans or towing their caravans had a right job on. The roads were also very busy, and I didnt feel safe letting my 5 year old wander about up and down our row very often, due to the volume of traffic. The site itself though is beautiful, tended to every day, there was always someone zipping up and down with a lawnmower, or chopping back trees. The toilet and shower block was in very good clean condition - push button showers which I always find a bit annoying, and I have to say that whenever we went for a shower, the water was too hot for both my 10 and 5 year old daughter to use. Although I have to say that I did mention this to the office and they said they would turn down the thermostat. I ended up paying £1.50 for the last 2 days of our holiday to enable us to use the family bathrooms which was money well spent. Elsewhere, the kids play area was very good, looked almost new, but it is in the most awkward of places to get to from the main area. You have to cross one of the main roads to the other fields and farm/linney larder area to get there, and it is very dangerous, I was a nervous wreck everytime my 10 year old went there on her bike. The Linney larder, pub. Games room. Sports hall are all a few minutes walk away from the main site, but they are worth going to. The pub was lovely, didnt try any food, but hired the badminton court for 1 hour at £5 which I thought was very reasonable. Kids didnt use the games room much as it seemd to be being used by kids who must have been there a while as they seemed to rule it ! But apparently there was a tv, pool table and table tennis tablein there. Shop sold very limited expensive stuff, but was sufficient for what we needed while we were there. The location is ideal for Bude, and Summerleaze beach there is lovely. We were lucky as we had wonderful weather while we were there and went on the beach nearly every day. Kids must have a go at bodyboarding as the waves are great! Me and my daughter also tried out the pony trekking at Efford Down stables, about 5 mins drive away, it cost £20 each for an hours trek, but it was worth it, as you get to wander over the fields above the cliffs and get a wonderful view. Overall I would give this site about 9 out of 10, would definitely recommend it , it was very peaceful; and we will more than likely return there if we wish to go down south again.
