We've just come back from 3 nights at Deepdale and we had a fantastic time. Very clean, well maintained and friendly staff. The pitches are slightly small but I was told they have planning permission to extend and will be putting in larger pitches and also a kids play area, and should all be up and running by April 2012. There are no electrical hook ups here at all.
There were no problems with late night noise, all quite at 10pm. Other campers were very friendly and the kids weren't too bad either!
2 great pubs a short walk away along the coastal path, we ate at The Jolly Sailor and the fish & chips were the best I've ever had, we also had the takeaway pizza from there too, not too bad if a little pricey. The Costcutters in the complex was very reasonable too
All in all we will be going back next year.

The camp site is easy to find and booking in was quick, the reception is very friendly and well informed.
The site is reasonably level with good size pitches, your car can be parked next to your tent. However the ground was like concrete, had to use steel pegs as aluminium just buckled.
Overall the campsite is well looked after, but the cleaning of the facilities is rather poor in some areas. Toilet bowls and centre of the floor are cleaned regular, but the rest needs a little more attention, I wouldn't like to guess when the shower walls were last cleaned, Also can be a bit of a queue when busy.
The site has a cafe, petrol and visitor information. The nearest pub is about 1/2 mile away,a nice walk along the coastal path, decent food and beer, and a good sized beer garden.

We stayed here for two nights over the weekend with small child and puppy, it was a beautiful weekend and we couldn't have wished for a better, well situated site.
The toilets and showers were well equipped and clean with segregated bins for paper, cans bottles etc.
Lots of amenities at the front, petrol station, small supermarket, fat face, superb cafe and some small boutique shops. Superb beaches nearby Holkham and Brancaster and lots of places to get fresh crab and lobster.
If you're looking for a chilled out basic site with toilets, showers and nearby amenities this is the site for you. All in all would definitely visit again, one small gripe no chemical disposal point.

I used the campsite simply to try out my new backpacking tent. Unusually, I was hoping for some rough weather to put the Coleman through it's paces. Unfortunately, the weather disappointed me. Luckily, the site did not.
For a great mix of the relaxed, yet organised, well appointed, yet isolated, you would be hard pressed to find anywhere better.
Great friendly staff, all seemingly fans of the outdoors, great clean showers and washing/toilet facilities.
This site is on the doorstep of the Peddars Way/North Norfolk Coastal walk, and would be a very handy starting/resting point. Not too far to go for stunning views and scenery.
There are also a couple of nice pubs within easy walking distance. Sea food lovers will be particularly pleased with these I should think.
There are alternatives at this site to plain old tent camping, like hiring a tipi/yurt, or staying in the backpackers hostel (all of which looked great), but I'm a traditionalist.
In summary, a great facility, with lots to do and see or equally, a quiet isolated place with some great sights and walks. Highly recommended.
Oh, and out of season for a tent was £4.50 a night. What a bargain.

We only stayed two nights but would have happily stayed longer. It was a very friendly and clean campsite and we loved the fact that they have recycling and compost facilities as well as solar heating etc. Our only criticism is that they could do with more showers and possibly even more toilets.
We weren't there when the site was full but still had to queue for showers etc. The location is great as well with easy access to the local shop and the coast hopper bus service which runs pretty frequently.
We took a beautiful walk along the coastal path to Brancaster which has an absolutely stunning beach. All in all a great campsite in a great location, we will definitely visit again.

Fantastic site! Stayed for 3 nights. Plenty of room (even though it was busy)they provide plenty of room per pitch.
Great Cafe just on the outside of the campsite, had great breakfast from there!
Only slight downside would be the toilet and shower block. Could do with being expanded!
Staff very friendly and helpful upon arrival, would love to return!

Excellent site with great facilities but can be rather busy and noisy due to the number of tents. When we stayed there was at least 100 tents on site. However we still had a great time and the staff were really friendly.
Facilities are good but even with 5 showers we had to queue every morning, but always had plenty of hot water.
Would go again it is only a couple of hours away but may choose a quieter time of year

Spent a week there, July 2010. Great site. One major problem though, children playing football and allowing the ball to hit tents, cars and people. I don't want to sound a killjoy, but this is exceptionally dangerous with bbqs and outside cooking going on.
Great for visiting the N Norfolk area, beaches and countryside. Great for walking the coast path.
Best beaches in the world!

We booked four nights in advance and were delighted on arrival at the lovely setting.
Our first night was wonderful (we chose this site because of the many mentions of being a quiet site and it was on this night). However on the Friday night, it was a bit of a different story.
Apparently 82 pitches were in use that night (compared to approx 20 the first night) and it was really like camping in a playground. There is no designated play area and the pitches are very close together so the space between the tents is the only place for the kids to play. The kids were just having fun but as a couple without kids it really wasn't relaxing making sure we weren't hit by footballs and listening to constant noise. We ended up going out for the evening for some quiet. There is also five showers for the whole site, which when you have a couple / family per pitch isn't a lot, there were queues on our first morning with only about a quarter of pitches taken.
We ended up paying the extra for a hostel room to get some quiet but sleeping in bunks & paying extra for this wasn't really what we had envisioned for our break. We decided in the end to cut our losses and leave the next morning.
The staff were helpful in dealing with our situation and refunded the remaining two nights. It was just a bit of a shame that we drove four hours to get here. The impression we got from the website was different to our experience. Especially at weekends both the campsite and hostel seem much more of a place for young families than a place for a relaxing, quiet break.

Friendly well kept site would visit again. Like the small paddocks used for camping. Could do with more toilets and showers though as they got a bit busy at the weekend. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Lots of bins for recycling rubbish.
Lots of birds to spot we saw a Peregrine Falcon. The sunset over the tepees was beautiful. 10pm curfew here which was adeared to. Ground very hard take good strong tent pegs! We had a great time here with scorching weather.
Costcutter shop was very convenient and good to have a proper shop so near by rather than the usual small site shop. You can do a coast path walk straight from the site. Lovely flat costal walks. We bought fresh crab for under a £5 at Brancaster harbour.
Bus service was friendly and frequent we did a walk/bus/pub crawl. Lots of pubs in this county!
