What a wonderful site. For once we were sited near the shower block which were very clean and regularly serviced. A good site for children plenty to do. Near to Cromer and other beaches and the best thing the mini bus to the Spread Eagle pub what a treat.

It is an excellent site, one of the best I’ve been to. The pitches were huge so I don’t know whether they’ve altered it since the previous reviews. There is an information centre, which also serves as the reception for the campsite, a huge costcutter which has everything you could need, a garage and the reception sells gas and charcoal. There is also the deepdale café which serves an excellent breakfast and lunch (I’m pretty sure whatever you got from there would be very tasty!) It’s in an excellent position and there are tables and BBQs for campers to use. The toilet block is, admittedly, small but it never seemed to be a problem and they are very clean and well kept. Think it’s got to be a favourite and could certainly see us going there for a visit again!

Great little campsite, facilities clean and practical, showers particularly good. The noise policy after ten is well adhered to apart from the odd screaming kid no probs, if you want to party on this isn't the place for you, pitches plenty big enough unless you get in a corner where it looked to get a little busy. Would certainly return. Dozer.

A great campsite, completely devoted to campers, no caravans just tents and campervans/motor homes. I love this site the showers are great with heated floors and above all else they are very green and recycle all the rubbish. The people are very friendly. There are only a few showers, which can get a little busy when the overflow field is open, but don’t let this put you off you won't have to queue for too long and they are worth the wait. I can’t wait until I go back. This is a great central location with easy access to Brancaster, Holkham and Wells-Next-the-Sea all just a short drive away.

Nice small site which is well situated in a quiet village, good sandy beaches within a couple of miles.
Good factilities, with a modern, very clean shower and toilet block. Helpful friendly staff in a professional outfit.
The onsite cafe does indeed do a good breakfast, it was a little on the pricey side but then so are most pubs/restaurants on the coast.
The site is part of a working farm and the week we visited there was some pretty noisy machinery running in the evenings, but fortunately not late into the night keeping you awake.
I agree, the pitches are quite snug, its not a problem if the neighbours are friendly. However, we found there was room on neighbouring fields to play with the kids and fly kites!
I'd definitely recommend it and would go back if camping in the area.

Not the best campsite we have stayed at but it grows on you the longer you stay, the showers are great but then they are only a couple of years old so they should work pretty well. The pitches are pretty small to say the least (we have a 6 man tent) and depending on the pitch you get you could be on a bit of a hill, and as its on the North Norfolk coast where there is a high quantity of flint in the ground it makes putting your tent pegs in a bit of a challenge.
Its also a bit out of the way so if you like going to the beach or looking around the shops you have to get on the bikes or in the car and drive to Brancaster (nice beach though) or Burnham. The onsite Lazy Lounge cafe made a great brie and bacon sandwich. ps best pub was the Jolly Sailor had a good slide/climbing frame which kept our two year old entertained whilst we had dinner.

Fantastic. Great campsite with great facilities, there are only four showers which could be a problem....
The campsite though is lovely with a shop just yards away and a great cafe (The lazy Lounge)where you can get a great fry up. I would reccomend the "Jolly Sailor" pub down the road. It look s a bit shabby from outside but the food and the ale is great. I can reccomend a pint of "your granny wouldn't like it!"

August 2004 Nice site with quite good facilities, the staff were friendly and helpful. We felt there were too many people squeezed in though, the pitches were snug to say the least and the facilities could not realy cope with the number of people. The site may be a victim of its own sucsess but with a 3rd less pitches, kids would have been able to play safer and the site would be transformed.

MAY 2004 Excellent site. One of the best I've been too. Although the site was completely full and it was late May Bank Holiday, the site was kept spotlessly clean. The showers were hot and the queues were never too long. The staff in the information shop were very helpful and the cafe served great organic locally sourced food. There were also a number of barbecues on stands and wooden chair and table sets that could be used if campers didn't take their own.

May 2004 Excellent site with good facilities, clean showers and toilets, laundry, and a really good cafe, that opens for breakfast, immediately next to the site.
My one slight crticism is that the pitches are a bit squuezed in.
