Phippens Farm is a very good site and adult only so if you want peace and quiet this is the site good facilities friendly people, the wardens are very helpful and pleasant. I have been going to this site twice a year for a number of years good fishing and the peace and quiet. Nice walk along the river to the pub and a local bus service to B-O-Sea and Highbridge not to far away.

A great little site where we were made very welcome by Frank, Barbara & Tim. This is a very quiet site which is very clean and well kept. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the more bigger commercial sites of Burnham-On-Sea but only a short drive to the coastal beaches then this is the site for you. At a cost of £16 per night with electric hook-up and hard standing and at high season this is a bargain.

What a lovely friendly, clean site and very quiet, a place too relax and easily accessed from M5. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly wardens. Good sized pitches can choose from grass or hard standing, yes there are caravans pitched for the year but plenty of touring pitches. I found the showers clean but expensive, 20p for 2 min, (box outside shower) the shower starts as soon as money is put in. You can walk to village pub either along river or on the lane that serves meals we didn't eat there so can't comment, there is a lovely pub in nearby village Mark, white horse, serves lovely food, reasonably priced (go early or reserve table as it can get busy). Good central location for visiting attractions and some lovely walks, we enjoyed walk on Brean Down to the fort on the cliff. Nearby farm does bike and canoe hire.

A very pleasant, friendly and quiet site in a lovely location. The site staff ( Frank & Barbara) were most helpful since it was our first time caravanning. Several eating places nearby and only short drive to Burnham on Sea. We would certainly recommend this site and hope to visit again. , .

We are regular visitors to Phippins Farm, the wardens are a lovely friendly couple and go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay here along with the owners. This site is beautifully kept, the grounds and shower/toilet blocks are immaculate. Its set in peaceful surroundings. We enjoy a relaxing holidays here, we come twice a year and bring our two cats with us. We are reassured that the wardens know that our cats are in the caravan and keep an eye on them for us when we pop out. This site is one of the best sites we have stayed at and will continue to stay here. Well done to all of you who work so hard at keeping this site at a high standard. We will always recommend you.

As frequent visitors to the campsite over several years, we find the site to be a gem of peace and tranquillity. The wardens Frank and Barbara are always friendly and helpful as well as the owner Tim. The site is immaculate as are the shower blocks. There is an adjacent dog field and a very nice walk along the river bank to the local pub! We will return again and again.

Just returned from a six night stay at Phippins Farm, really lovely site. The resident wardens Frank and Barbara are most helpful and friendly, as were all of the 'long term inmates' on the site.

The place is kept clean and tidy, hot showers, reasonable nightly fee and a great dog exercise area which can extend into the neighbouring fields, livestock permitting!.

There is a good pub within a short stroll over the field, and plenty of local places to stock up on Scrumpy too!

The peace and tranquility are only slightly marred by the hum of the M5 which can be heard in the distance most of the time.

My only comment for consideration would be that a better disposal point for grey water be installed as it's quite a struggle to lift a waste master up onto the loo disposal plinth, consequently we saw some people letting it drain into the grass, not very hygeinic other than that, no other problems.

Thanks.

Have just returned from visiting this site and i can only comment on what a wonderful site this is, very clean very peaceful lovely warders

Really nice location could not fault a thing please do not read negative reviews about this site, go and see for your self it is worth it. There are a few pubs in the surrounding areas which you can walk too

There is a nice river running through the site which you can sit by and let the world float by while you have your picnic and relax. Dogs can also stay at site, i myself do not own a dog but the dogs that were there were very well behaved and i did not even hear any dogs barking. The site fees were also very reasonable.

 A hidden gem.

The site is so peaceful with substantial hard standing pitches.

Cannot state enough how quiet this site is, if peaceful stays are your choice you cannot find better.

Good access from M5.

Excellent value.

Site is maintained to a very good standard.

Seasonal pitches are extremely good value for such a long season.

Highly recommended.

Slightly disappointed by this site. Most of the caravans were sited for the season. Most had garden lockers behind their vans - which made the site rather scruffy. The site wardens were most welcoming. Toilets were clean. Waste water from caravans allowed to run straight onto ground which caused some bad smells. Apart from that It is a very quite site but slightly over priced.
